This is an unofficial outpost of the world famous Peter Luger steakhouse in New York. It's not owned by the company, rather a longtime Peter Luger's waiter and host who basically ran their playbook almost exactly and opened it in Naples. A smart thing to do! The menu ... the cuts of steaks ... the wood paneled interior with gold-framed paintings ... the steak sauce ... even the plates with a logo that looks exactly like Peter Lugar's ... all the same. The waiters wear white embroidered jackets, have the confidence of stock brokers and chit chat with you as if they are a longtime friend. The steaks come sizzling in butter and pre-sliced the way Lugar's porterhouse for two come. I have always thought Peter Lugar's was overrated. The steaks are expensive and very fatty with sinew/gristle running through the meat. This wasn't a thick steak ... it was on the thin side and it was fried in butter making the outside flavorful but a little rubbery. If you like Peter Lugar's you will like this. However, if you like a thick, tender steak ... maybe not. The sides are all similar to any good a la carte steakhouse in the world. They have the famous thick bacon, which is more like pork steak on the menu. The wedge salad was very good. Overall, this place gets packed ... parking is a nightmare ... and it's an institution. If you like vintage style, classic restaurants, you'll be in for a treat here. I would certainly come back. The steaks are not the best I've ever had here ... but all the things add up to make it a special vibe and experience as the many regulars would attest. Male servers with white aprons to their ankles and a smoking room on the back., Then you get that magical char crust on a perfectly prepared porterhouse, it's amazing, As are the thick grilled bacon slices. Andre's salad those potato's....omggg I think about all of it any time I drive by-or have steak elsewhere . This is my favorite steak house in Naples. And well, anywhere. A classic steakhouse experience. Very traditional atmosphere, looks like something out of the 1960s. Starters were great, ordered the tomatoes which were fresh and came with bleu cheese and steakhouse, surprising how good the steak sauce was with the tomatoes. Shrimp cocktail was also good, cocktails sauce could have used a little kick but otherwise excellent. The porterhouse was definitely not Peter Lugers, despite some of the reviews. It was chewy and tough in places, not bad and presentation great but not world class steakhouse caliber. I really did like the onion straws, though the portion is huge. We went with a group of four on March 24, 2026 to Andre's Steakhouse, and as always--the food was outstanding! This was our second time having Elmer as our server (he's originally from NY), and he is hands down the best. He gave us a great recommendation to order a steak for 2 instead of four--and he was absolutely right... it was more than enough! We started with wedge salads and shrimp cocktails, which were both incredible. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and a perfect start to the meal. The steak itself was delicious. We ordered it medium, and it initially came out a bit more medium-rare--but Elmer handled it right away without hesitation. He made sure everything was corrected perfectly and even surprised us with a piece of bacon on the house... which was unbelievable! We ordered three sides, which were fantastic German potatoes, cream of spinach and mushroom mushrooms. Elmer truly made the whole experience. Great service, great personality, and he knows exactly how to take care of his guests. We have already made our reservation for Easter Sunday and have asked for Elmer as our server. Service was exceptional! Dinner rolls were soft and very tasty. I loved their creamed spinach. The German fries were crispy and well seasoned. Our steak wee served exactly as ordered. My mom and I walked here from the place we were staying since we had driven by it so many times and finally decided to check it out. We are suckers for a classic steakhouse, and this place was everything we were craving. We were welcomed by a small group of locals who had a great line up of menu recommendations. Steak, loaded baked potato, onion strings, Andre salad and more! The steak comes pre-cut and sizzling in butter. I loved how Billy the bartender portioned our food onto our plates. My experience last night at Andre's checked ALL my steakhouse boxes with a permanent black marker! XXXX!!! 1st We were able to walk .6 miles to and from our condo. 2nd We knew we belonged on the lounge side of the restaurant ( based on other reviews-thank you very much) and we were warmly welcomed by Billy the bar tender and 3 local ladies who happily shared their suggestions on drinks and the menu. Love that!! 3rd We embraced as many of their suggestions as we could without ordering EVERYTHING on the menu!! For two of us we enjoyed and split the Andre's salad, loaded baked,filet cooked medium, onion strings....ALL so good! 4th The conversations at the bar with so many and even Chris (the manager?) was actually the highlight of our night. People saying the best steak you'll have in town, but unfortunately I did not have that experience. the steak I had was not good at all. I had the cowboy ribeye. My wife had the filet which was good. The baked potato was cooked to perfection. The ambience is nostalgic for the price. I would expect a perfect steak, especially when they cut it up before they serve it to you. They should have known that it was not a good steak. Service was good. Absolutely fabulous. Great food, service and ambience. This is a hidden gem, old school, central European beer steins and oil landscape paintings on the wall. This is like walking back in time and is a staple of Naples dining as it has survived in this market since 1993. The dry aged steaks are legendary, the strip steak I had was spectacular, solid sear, cut into strips table side on a plate that was literally sizzling, see the photo. It was served on a hot plate the waiter brings out. Medium rare is served hot outside and red center, smooth, moist and memorable. The Porterhouse is excellent as well. They also have a 22 oz cowboy steak, lamb chops, chicken, fish, lobster and a prime veal chop, not many places in Naples have prime veal chops on the menu. The salad and appetizer menu is also solid especially the special Andre's salad loaded with tomatoes, onions, lettuce, bacon and shrimp with blue cheese crumbles. The sides are massive, the onion rings and fried German potatoes were perfectly prepared. They also have baked potato, fries, creamed spinach and sautéed mushrooms. Gino was my server, this place get's the details right. Water always filled, timely service and measured service, waiters are great, like eating at Peter Luger, Bern's Steak House, Cut, St Elmo's or Gibsons. I had left my leftover box on the table, Gino noticed it and ran out into the parking lot to give it to me, that is excellent service. read more

This is what I would call casual fine dining as we went in jeans and it was fine. Steaks are served on a sizzling platter, seasoned only with salt, pepper and butter. It has to do with the aging process and the grade of meat that makes it so special.All sides are very large enough to split...They bring the filet out on a sizzling plate and it's sliced and they serve it to you. My poor friend had to order the Heineken but me, being a well off businessman well versed in Bidness 1$1, was able to afford their most expensive wine.
