Longhorn steak(T bone 22oz)

1st off service was great waitress kept coming over Beers very reasonable Baked bread nice and warm and soft you get a mini loaf you cut up yourself Choice of side are good choices don't see why some so called signature side you pay extra (not a deal breaker) Flo's filet cooked exactly as ordered and juicy and tender (if you like your steak plain just a little salt and pepper ask upfront Their dry rub was a little over seasoned Now to the reason I give a 3 My longhorn is a larger portion of T-Bone steak I asked for rare I got it perfectly cooked as asked for Notice in picture you don't see a T bone I got probably (my guess) last end cut The tenderloin portion was easy to cut up nice and tender the sirloin portion was very nervy Was hard to clean nerves out One I got nerves out meat was almost as tender as tenderloin part With all said prices are very reasonable but would I want to pay 2-3 times more for a more enjoyable piece of meat T a more classy restaurant? You be the judge I would go back for a sirloin steak or rib eye Also I should of spoke up after a few cuts(that's on me)

Filets, broccoli, baked potato and kids sirloin.

We were able to join the waitlist online which I always like. Upon arrival we were sat quickly at a booth in the bar area. The atmosphere was nice as the bar wasn't too busy and the overall ambiance of the restaurant is nice. Up charged to the potato soup as a side and it was decent. Definitely had a bacon flavor but overall is good. Both ordered the 9oz filet medium well and they were drastically different in color, mine being undercooked and his overcooked. It was still a good flavor though. For sides the broccoli was good, mashed potatoes were pretty good and the loaded baked potato was also good. The Cesar salad dressing wasn't my favorite but tasted ok.

New menu. Side A

We decided to go with the shrimp cocktail and mahi tacos on corn tortillas. There are also plenty of gluten free options which is nice. Seated at 730, drink order wasn't taken until 744, and this became a theme for the night. Drinks came a while later. Bread was provided after the drinks--but we had been seated well over 25 minutes now. Order was not taken for over 30 minutes. Appetizers came out relatively quickly and were good (4/5). The tomatoes were green house tomatoes though which really bugged me for southern Florida and the price point. Just plain greedy prices for Sysco food service quality ingredients. Entrees came about 90 minutes after we were seated. Wife and I had to do some serious damage control with the kids, but we brought them so that's on us. The entrees were good, but marked up considerably. I suspect they prey on tourists like us and just charge high in hopes of the perceived quality. My steak was very good I'll admit. But I filled up on the table bread because it all took so dang long. Also it was a limited menu--maybe because of Easter? But with limited options the kitchens job should be streamlined a lot better to avoid such a long wait time for the food. Started this review with a 4 star rating, as I thought about it, I downgraded it to a 3 due to high cost, mediocre waiter service and very slow food service. Maybe your experience will be better on a less busy day? We were there nearly three hours not including the wait for our table.

Tigress Restaurant & Rooftop Bar - Delicious food

Tigress Restaurant & Rooftop Bar

-- A Rooftop Gem Where You Feel Like Family…read more I'll be upfront -- I have social anxiety, and crowds can be genuinely overwhelming for me. My first evening up at Tigress's rooftop, I walked into a packed house with no reservation, and it was simply too much. Rather than give up, I called the restaurant shortly before close and asked about reserving a table for the following night. Just one person. What happened next genuinely surprised me. They were absolutely fabulous. Not only did they accommodate me without hesitation, they reserved me a spot in the bar area and had it ready the moment I arrived. The second I stepped off that elevator, I was greeted by name, welcomed warmly, and made to feel like I belonged there. It wasn't a restaurant experience -- it was a Cheers experience. You know the show. That's exactly what it felt like. Service was prompt and attentive from the start. My drink order was taken and delivered quickly, and when I asked for a menu recommendation, the staff guided me toward their signature crab fried rice -- and I am so glad they did. This dish is unlike anything I've had at any Thai restaurant, and I've had crab fried rice at quite a few. The blend of ingredients Tigress uses is truly special. Every element comes together in a way that feels almost magical. Worth every single penny. I've seen a few complaints about pricing, but when you consider the quality of ingredients that must go into this dish and the skill required to execute it -- the price is more than fair. Sincere applause to the entire staff for their grace and kindness. A standing ovation to the chef on duty that evening, and deep gratitude to the executive chef who curated this menu. And special recognition to the bar team -- their craft cocktails are clearly designed to complement the food beautifully. I will absolutely be back. Tigress has earned a loyal guest.

Our server was very nice and conversational, however, I think she might have a habit for forgetting to do something unless she does it right away. Before finishing explaining the sauces with the shrimp crudite, we asked a question and she immediately went to go grab another dip and didn't finish explaining the sauces. I was disappointed in the bananas foster waffles. it said there was banana caramel, and then as a separate item, it said peanut butter maple. I asked probably 2 or 3 different times where the peanut butter maple was as i had gotten my toppings on the side after seeing an order that was drenched go past my table. the first answer i received was that it was the sauce i had in front of me. it was not. it was the caramel. the next time i asked, i was told that the peanut butter and caramel are the same sauce. again, no peanut butter flavor in the sauce. the peanut butter was the thing i was looking forward to the most on the waffle, and by the time she offered to just bring me peanut butter i was almost done with it. i will say that it is a very dense waffle and difficult to cut. i'm not sure if it is supposed to be this way, but i had to use some force to cut into what i thought was going to be a fluffy waffle. we had empty water glasses on our table for quite some time with multiple people passing before being refilled. it wasn't until more people cleared out that we were able to get more water. the cinnamon roll thing: a very nice gesture from the restaurant for birthdays. the cinnamon toast crunch on the outside was nice and crunchy, the caramel gelato between layers was smooth, but the roll itself is a different story. like the waffle, it was dense. not sure if that's because it's served cold but we will chalk it up to that, but the cream cheese frosting has chili and paprika in it! so while we were eating it, all of our throats starting to have a spicy burny feeling in the back. imagine red hots candy for flavor profile. we didn't find out until asking that it has the extra spice in it. just something to note, it might need to be added to server explanation that there is the added spicy element, as there are a lot of people who do not enjoy spicy foods. I stand by my previous reviews that Tigress is strictly a drinks and app place.
