I told her it would not be an issue, so she took my cell number and told me that she would let me know when my table would be ready. Minutes later, a walk-in party of 6 came in needing a table, and got seated right away; then, a party of 8, a party of 4 and so on, all got seated right away while I was told that I needed to wait 30min; none of these parties were call-ahead ones. After 20mins., I told my husband to ask for a manager. Scarlett's attitude changed and decided to offer us something by the bar, but the offer came too late. Service -- Manager OD [Kyle - name given to us by our server]: My husband spoke with the manager, Kyle, who decided that, as customers, we were overreacting and didn't seem to want to fix/correct the situation. It was only when I told him that I felt that my party and I were being discriminated against because either we were not locals [or other factors] or because Scarlett felt the need to have an issue with my 3 teenage daughters. Kyle didn't apologize but instead responded that "there were many moving parts and they [hostess] were just kids", which prompted me to tell him that I, too, have kids waiting to be seated. Ambiance -- Table: Kyle prompted Scarlett to sit us right away. BUT -- upon nearing the table, the seats and floor were full of food from the table being wiped semi-clean. I told Scarlett that how dare she, after all that had transpired, to sit us in a dirty table/area and expect for it to be acceptable. Upon my party finally being seated, Kyle didn't bother checking up on us, but I did see him at the hostess station nurturing Scarlett. Server -- Jasmine. She was the silver lining. Attentive, courteous and willing to take care of us. Food -- Overall: Cheese fries were burnt, and food was mediocre at best. I ordered the chicken wings with mild sauce and they came with another sauce all together. Why not leave? -- It was late, we were tired, hungry, and we needed to head back to Miami. Friendly service tonight. Bartender great! Have seen her here a couple of times as I come here every few months. I generally like Outback but seems like they struggle with staff turnover which impacts the dining experience. No complaints on the service tonight but I do note price increases (not unexpected) as well as some shrinkflation. Was a bit disappointed in the size of the lobster tails. For the price point I expect smaller tails but these poor guys never reached puberty. That said, I will continue to stop by from time to time as it is very convenient for me. read more

Came in for an early dinner the other day for a steak dinner with my dad. I've been to Outback restaurants all across the country and in my experience, they're usually pretty consistent from location to location. This north Naples location was no exception. We both were hoping that they had prime rib on the menu when we came in, and they did not (weekends only apparently). No big deal. Seems like some locations have it weekdays and some reserve it for weekends only. My local location in the Chicago area offers prime rib on weekdays (in limited quantities). Anyway, we both ended up ordering the bone-in ribeye and they were both great! My dad's was cooked perfect med as he ordered and mine was perfect med rare as I ordered. Side of mushrooms were, well, side of mushrooms. The only gripe is that my broccoli was brown in certain spots, not from cooking. Didn't appear to be fresh so I only had a few bites. Overall, we enjoyed our steak dinner at this location. Service was great and the ambiance was nice. Restaurant seemed clean as well. Wasn't too pleased. My fiance and I went and got 6 ounce steak and lobster tail, medium rare steak. Steak came out great my lobster came out great, fiances lobster didnt come out good. It was over cooked. His loaded baked potato was loaded with everything but sour cream, it had a small spoonful and not much butter either, my sides came out fine. We never got our bread and butter at the start which is always the best part :( we did end up getting it at the end when we mention it but I was a bit annoyed at our server saying "oh, they never brought it?" As a server you should always make sure your table has gotten the bread. Nice person though but he was not as attentive as I was hoping. Waters didn't get refilled until we went to get boxes and pay. For appetizer I got the spinach dip which was yummy for me but my fiance was waiting on the bread and had to wait, the lady who brought out my spinach dip I had asked about if the bread was still coming (as I was watching other tables get theirs) and turned at me said ok and never returned with bread. Two Strikes - Won't Be Back I've been to Outback many times over the years and generally enjoyed it--but this particular location is something else entirely. This is the second time I've walked in, stood around, and been completely ignored. This time, I walked in and there's a heavyset guy leaned over the counter with two women--no greeting, no acknowledgment, not even eye contact. I stood there wondering: are they open? Are we invisible? Meanwhile, there were people waiting in the lobby, clearly just as confused. It's baffling how a business can survive when the staff acts like customers are a nuisance. No one says, "Hello," or "We'll be right with you." Just silence. It feels like they don't want the business--or don't know how to run a restaurant. Came here recently for an event. Now sure what we were expecting since it is a chain restaurant and wow were we blown away! Each steak was cooked beautifully. Everyone in our group kept raving about how flavorful everything was. The blooming shrimp were a great addition to the menu, especially if you love their onion but want a fun twist on the classic. The real shocking favorite was the wedge salad!!! I can not get over how good it was and can, without a doubt, say it was the best wedge salad I have ever had! The lettuce was cold and crispy, the blue cheese just was the right amount of tangy, and the tomatos were bright and acidic. I've attempted to make a wedge salad at home in an attempt to recreate this, but everything has just been a sad imitation. Brian and the staff were also so amazing and welcoming! Checking on us regularly and sharing fun details about the restaurant and dishes we were trying. The restaurant is newer and beautiful. No thanks, maybe he should keep the place running smoothly and not waiting until customers are mad, the place was not busy no excuse and the bathrooms were filthy again horrible management. Came here on a Sunday around 4 , it wasn't busy at all. I ordered the blooming fried chicken. It's extremely salty, I took the breading off. My husband ordered the Jamaican meatloaf and it was sweet. The mashed pot and veggies were the best thing we had. I think the waiter put our table in wrong because our food came out and went to another table each time. I didn't like that. When we entered, we were greeted by friendly staff, and after a brief wait for a booth to be bussed, we were seated. I had not been to this location for some time, and it seems to have been renovated. The atmosphere was open and pleasant. Our waitress, Christen, was gracious and professional. My first impression of my meal was that, for the price, the burger was quite small, as was the spud. With the first bite of the burger, I tasted mostly salt, and the slice of tomato that topped it was not red, but yellow/orange--yet to ripen and too hard to eat. I enjoyed the sweet potato. My son also found his steak much smaller than what had been out previous experience at the Outback in North Naples, and definitely over-salted. We planned to order a to go dinner for my husband, but after that meal, we decided to go across 41 to Culver's where the food is always tasty, the portions better and the prices more reasonable. Christen did bring my son a piece of cheesecake, perhaps in compensation, which was nice, but not enough to get us to return there again. To be honest it's a little overpriced for what you're actually getting. I usually do pick up so I can't speak about the atmosphere . I do have to say that they are very quick when you place an order to have it ready within 15 minutes , so the service couldn't be better as far as pick up goes. The food is always really tasty, but there are definitely some improvements to be made. All in all I will still go back at least once a week for it to go order . Don't know if this place will last. Walked in this afternoon. No one came to the table or took an order. That was then the waiter passed by and said, I'll be back in a minute. Excuse. Never saw him for 10 minutes or any other server. 20 minutes. Nothing? Only 3 tables were seated mid afternoon. We finally got up and left. No one came after us. As we left, saw the hostess taking an order to a car outside. What about customers inside? This is just one experience. This should not get you to say you'll never go there. Businesses would close. Place is very oddly built... you walk into this odd vestibule with a backwards hostess stand. They seem to sit families with lots of kids on the other side (thank you - this is a good idea). Thank goodness we finally have a decent steak house on this booming side of town. Is it a chain? Yes. But Outback always delivers quality meats and sides. The best part for me is their prime rib. Sometimes I'll have it plain but most of the time I have it seared with their blend of spices which takes the flavor to 11! Although the staff was brand new, they performed their jobs to perfection. Outback has a protocol that their servers follow and you get a more personal experience. Kudos to the new manager and staff for pulling off a great opening. So I have always liked Outback Steakhouses and when this new one opened up near me I was pretty excited. My husband is a steak connoisseur and usually cooks his own steak but I talked him into trying it out. We arrived and my first impression of the layout was not great. It looked like one big cafeteria with the hostess stand not facing customers coming in but backed up to a booth which faced the restaurant. So we walked in to see the back of hostesses and we had to walk up to them. She wasn't rude but could have been friendly. On our way to the bar and throughout my entire experience I noticed that the entire restaurant was dirty. Food and paper on the floor. A cart with pitchers of water and a few dishes in front of the bathrooms. An overflowing trash can next to the hostess station on the way out (with the hostess just standing there doing nothing). This is poor management in my opinion. There was a wait so we decided to go grab a drink at the bar. It is a typical except for the end that drops down about 3 feet. Very weird. We thought about just sitting there but when I tried it out I was literally looking up at all the other patrons at the bar. I have never seen a design quite like it. The two guys sitting in the next to seats, which were bar height, commented and said they had actually started off there and moved. We decided to just stay on a list for a table. We ordered two martinis, one which was a lemon drop for myself and was way to sweet, and were seated quite sooner than expected. The grilled shrimp appetizer was not cooked enough. It was raw but definitely could have been grilled longer. We both agreed about this I wanted to send it back but my husband just wanted to eat at as he was very hungry and did not want to wait. His steak was ok and my grilled chicken entree was pretty good. Our 9 oz glasses of wine were not that great. We asked for to go boxes. Our waitress dropped them off with the check. She never even asked us if we wanted anything else. To me she was basically saying that she was done and we needed to go. One other mention is that when I used the restroom there was only two stalls so there was a wait. The girl in front of me was an employee. On my way out there was another employee coming in. Isn't there suppose to be an employee bathroom. As a paying customers I do not want to have to wait in line with the restaurant staff and I'm sure they do not want to have to wait inline while they are working. This is based of 2 separate orders back to back days , the first one they forgot the Mac and cheese even though it was ordered to go in person by the time i got back the other side I had was cold but they did give me an additional Mac and cheese to make up for it but the next day i placed an order to just realize they never sent it threw on the system to be made so i had to leave and come back, and then I arrived and they still hadn't made it yet at all , very frustrating I will more then likely not be ordering to go but the people that I talked to me and helped me did make me feel like 3 was Fair the food wasn't bad and the staff was for the most part friendly and helpful I would have put fewer starts if they came across rude in any way . read more

But he didn't want to get bread and water he was waiting for someone else to do it. Wasn't crowded. Lots of open tables. It was 730 pm. Bigger problem was womens restroom had zero soap. Sign over soap dispenser saying no soap. Other soap dispenser empty. How do employees wash hands? Outback corporate needs to look at this place overall. For me, my family, and friends, Outback has always been a staple, a place where we get together casually or for a special occasion. When we resides in California, this was a place we frequently visited. The food is always consistently prepared and done just perfectly. We get the onion soup, the wings, the loaded cheese fries, bone-in rib eye, filet and prime rib. The bread, without saying, is outstanding. We can always depend on excellent service at Outback no matter where, whether we are in California or Florida. The ambiance is lively and energetic. The manager even came to the table to chat with us and to ask if there was anything else he could do for us.
