    Bone-in ribeye w broccoli
    Matt P.

Came in for an early dinner the other day for a steak dinner with my dad. I've been to Outback restaurants all across the country and in my experience, they're usually pretty consistent from location to location. This north Naples location was no exception. We both were hoping that they had prime rib on the menu when we came in, and they did not (weekends only apparently). No big deal. Seems like some locations have it weekdays and some reserve it for weekends only. My local location in the Chicago area offers prime rib on weekdays (in limited quantities). Anyway, we both ended up ordering the bone-in ribeye and they were both great! My dad's was cooked perfect med as he ordered and mine was perfect med rare as I ordered. Side of mushrooms were, well, side of mushrooms. The only gripe is that my broccoli was brown in certain spots, not from cooking. Didn't appear to be fresh so I only had a few bites. Overall, we enjoyed our steak dinner at this location. Service was great and the ambiance was nice. Restaurant seemed clean as well. I recommend this Outback location if you're looking for a run of the mill chain restaurant steak dinner.

Came here recently for an event. Now sure what we were expecting since it is a chain restaurant and wow were we blown away! Each steak was cooked beautifully. Everyone in our group kept raving about how flavorful everything was. The blooming shrimp were a great addition to the menu, especially if you love their onion but want a fun twist on the classic. The real shocking favorite was the wedge salad!!! I can not get over how good it was and can, without a doubt, say it was the best wedge salad I have ever had! The lettuce was cold and crispy, the blue cheese just was the right amount of tangy, and the tomatos were bright and acidic. I've attempted to make a wedge salad at home in an attempt to recreate this, but everything has just been a sad imitation. Brian and the staff were also so amazing and welcoming! Checking on us regularly and sharing fun details about the restaurant and dishes we were trying. The restaurant is newer and beautiful. This location is a little bit of for us but we had such a great time here, it is worth it!

Came here on a Sunday around 4 , it wasn't busy at all. I ordered the blooming fried chicken. It's extremely salty, I took the breading off. My husband ordered the Jamaican meatloaf and it was sweet. The mashed pot and veggies were the best thing we had. I think the waiter put our table in wrong because our food came out and went to another table each time. I didn't like that. She also messed up my husband side. It could be because she was working the bar too and had too much going on.

Walkabout Wednesday amazing special- a 6oz Sirloin, plus side and drink for only $13.00!!

I enjoyed a filet for lunch at Outback, and it's definitely one of the best I have enjoyed in a long time from any of their competitors who i generally visit several times per month. It was cooked a perfect medium rare with great taste, and the only downside was a higher than average price. My server was friendly and attentive.

Remnants of blooming onion! Encourage your family to eat a whole onion today!

Place is very oddly built... you walk into this odd vestibule with a backwards hostess stand. They seem to sit families with lots of kids on the other side (thank you - this is a good idea). My chicken fried chicken was not nicely breaded and it did not look like the menu. Sad. Blooming onion is always good. Sometimes they're undercooked this time it was nice and done! Waiters seemed like he was being pulled in too many directions. We waited WAY too long after being visibly done for him to take our card and get us a box. Poor guy didn't manage to refill our waters. Next plan - only order blooming onion, to go, sit in car.

    Can't beat surf and turf.

Thank goodness we finally have a decent steak house on this booming side of town. Is it a chain? Yes. But Outback always delivers quality meats and sides. The best part for me is their prime rib. Sometimes I'll have it plain but most of the time I have it seared with their blend of spices which takes the flavor to 11! Although the staff was brand new, they performed their jobs to perfection. Outback has a protocol that their servers follow and you get a more personal experience. Kudos to the new manager and staff for pulling off a great opening. I look forward to visiting often.

Perfectly cooked steaks with just the right amount t of flavoring. Salads, entrees and deserts always perfect. Last night it was a mess. Me, my husband and 32 year old daughter went out to dinner for the Xmas season. We always go to Jimmy Ps and we go an average of once a month and our dinner bill is usually $375 to $450 every time. Last night we ordered 2 filet mignon and a Rib eye steaks with a potatoe side and grilled asparagus. My daughter ordered her steak medium and a side of mashed potatoes. Her steak was horrible. No salt and pepper and no seasoning. Her steak was cooked well done. The server came over and we showed him and he did provide my daughter with a fresh perfectly cooked steaks. I had the rib eye, Pittsburgh medium rare. I have this steak every time i come here and have eaten this probably 50 times.last night whatever seasoning was used has the char taste like it was cooked on a dirty grill and tasted absolutely rancid. We noticed that the asparagus side that was also grilled had the same rancid taste. I didn't send it back since they already cooked a replacement steak for my daughter. I tried to explain to server but I didn't demand a new steak. Paid $80 for a steak I couldn't eat. The service is always great and last night no exception. I think we will be taking a break from there for a bit

In this case, it was a sign of good times, as the noise was mainly table conversations in a full house. Our open-table reservation was ready, and we were seated at a table near the "wine wall." After pondering the possibilities, our evening went like this: *Cocktails: "Take two" for her: Strawberry-Infused Botanist Gin, Mango, Citrus Basil, Foam; a bourbon old-fashioned for him: Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon, Aperol, Simple Syrup, Angostura Aromatic Bitters (a cherry too, perhaps Luxardo). *We made the strategic decision to avoid soups/salads to make sure there was room for dessert, and went directly to entrees: Chilean Sea Bass (best seller, we hear) for her: Broccolini, Pearl Onion, Potato Puree, Truffle Vinaigrette; and the Halibut special with gnocchi for him. Both EXCELLENT! A glass of Sauvignon Blanc with each. *Dessert: Crème Brulée for her, a much anticipated Ten Layer Carrot Cake for him, and decaf coffee + cream for both. Was saving room for dessert worth it? Yes, absolutely. My compliments to Todd, perhaps the best server I remember during the past year. Why? He seemed to have no agenda except to please the customer. There was no pressure to order quickly, and nothing about our order fazed him. Gluten-free requests were handled flawlessly. No soup or salad? He did not even blink, as if he himself thought it was an excellent idea. Todd, thank you for being the perfect meal guide and steward.

PRIME MY FOOT !…read more Worst steak meal I've hand since having a steak at Dennys from breakfast... OK, this is gonna be a 3 part experience cause you deserve the facts and nothing but the facts JACK ! Having dined at Ocean Prime in Seaport District in Massachusetts I thought I'd be having an excellent experience yet that was not to be. So let's start our journey of the nights events at Ocean Scam! So we're having a stroll through beautiful Naples and see a familiar name for dining. We decided to check it out cause our experience was amazing up North.. THE HELP- A +++ Upon arrival we were greeted by a beautiful set of host ladies who escorted us to a full window seat. Another person who was very polite pours us some water and takes a beverage order. Then our super polite waiter comes over for questions & order. He was fantastic and his talents are wasted here cause he could be a great one. THE FOOD: F - FAIL Ok so now is the drama part of our evening. We ordered a rib eye ( MEDIUM ) and Filet ( MEDIUM ) well our steak arrive and both are CRISP with grey insides , YES OVER COOKED! My lady is now pissed so she points it out to waiter he is apologetic. He then reviews mine and says he will bring new steaks out... So as I grow older and famished a new set of steaks arrive and a second set of items accompanied it. THE FILET is now burnt on outside and purple not cooked in middle and my ribeye is the same. However no steak juices even flowed from hers. It was like a hockey puck from Florida Panthers was served... Mine had zero taste but has juices on the plate. The waiter came back and saw it an apologized profusely. He comped her steak but I'm thinking what the hell is going on in the kitchen. Ever hear of a meat thermometer guys??? No the funny thing was is the couple behind us was from Boston also and he was complaining about the same thing. I watched as he tried to stab his fork into the meat like the flag on Iwo Jima except he could even pierce the meat it was so rock solid... Good thing they purchased a few bottles of wine to forget the experience as well. But I did laugh at his steak misery... My fries , corn & house salad were excellent with no complaints. My desert of carrot cake was Decadent and best thing about my experience at Ocean Prime... THE AMBIANCE: A+++ OP had a great vibe from the moment you saw the outside till you stepped inside. First class decor you'd expect from a swanky place. Our window seat gave a great view of the courtyard for people watching and I'm gonna say the candles in the bathroom gave an Aromatic refreshing scent to a place that normally needs it after a steak dinner. I wish they sold those candles cause I'd defiantly grab a few for the home.. Well, that's my experience for OCEAN " NOT SO " PRIME ! I gave the steaks THE FINGER just in case my displeasure didn't come through...

Service was alway excellent and very attentive, food was very good but definitely not cheap. Because of the price, I do have certain expectations, and on this visit, it fell slightly short. We arrived at 6:30pm our reservation time, and were promptly taken to our table. The hostess first offered a table right at the door, I rejected, the restaurant was still fairly empty. Then we were led to another table right next to a big table of 15+ people. Before I said anything, she quickly suggested maybe a quieter table, thank you for that. We ended up with a table on the other corner, it was perfect. As usual, hubby ordered a martini, it came with a lot of ice chip, oops didn't past our first test. We ordered the seared Foie Gras and Kumato Tomato and Watermelon salad. The Foie Gras was done perfectly. The watermelon in the salad was cured, not my type of salad. For our entree I had the short rib, very tender but very dense and lean, hubby had the Delmonico steak with Foie Gras added. The steak has a little bit too much fat and not sure it was worth the cost. We enjoyed the two sides every much - Brussels sprout and sauté mushroom. I joked that perhaps next time I should just have Brussels sprouts and seared Foie gras as my dinner, and I would be very happy. We also ordered a chocolate soufflé which takes 30 min to make. Much to our surprise that the waiter had it split for us when it was brought out. Overall it was a wonderful night, with live piano music playing throughout the whole meal. But we also began to wonder, was it worth the cost? The steak had a little too much fat that it should; Martini has too much ice chip, the two glasses of wine were pricy and forced. Perhaps we will save it for very special occasion only, and next time we will try one of the other three restaurants on site.
