When you want a top-notch steak, this is the place to go! I am here pretty often, and the consistency of the food is exceptional. You can tell there are some chefs in the kitchen with a ton of skill and experience. I usually get a New York Strip, medium, and it is perfect 100% of the time. Their side dishes are also incredible. My mom and I met up with 2 friends here for dinner. I got the sparkling mojito which was great after a good stir. Our waiter Mark was excellent! We all did the filet, I had mine medium done and my mom and friends did the gorgonzola crust on top of their fillets. This is the Capital Grill of my preference rather than the Brickell Miami one that charges $20 for parking. In Naples Capital Grill parking is free and the service is amazing. Had the French Onion Soup and it was very good. Reluctantly we spent the $17 on the cup of Lobster bisque and also very good. Repeated the Sliced Filet with a side of asparagus and shared with my husband was a lot ! For dessert we had the Berries with Fresh cream and it was also tasty. The capital grill is a 5 star restaurant. Every aspect of it, ambiance, food, and service was perfection. I had the Parmesan encrusted New York Strip. The flavor profiles were over the top delicious. I have been recommended capital grill more times then I can count , and I am astonished everytime. I have dined here several times , and never will again. I want to preface this by saying this is not fine dinning. Not in the least. The food is mediocre and because of such its overpriced. I have been here twice now and the best thing is the "In Fashion". It is their version of the Old Fashioned. I believe this place to be mediocre at best. I feel like the quality of steak isn't there. The menu selection is small but the after a discussion about a porterhouse the waiter says that they have porterhouse but it's not on the menu. Our service was not impressive. Very nice man but the service wasn't what I should get when I pay $300 for dinner. The ambiance is good, it's what a chain steak house ambiance should be. I prefer Morton's which is just a mile or two down the road. The service is probably very similar but the meat quality and choices are much better for about the same price. read more

Nice tasting blue point Connecticut oysters, but not much bigger than a quarter or half dollar. The salads were tasty. I had the cobb with blue cheese, and large bacon bits. My entree was the dry aged 24 oz porterhouse steak. That's the reason for the 3-star rating. The filet portion of the cut was good, but the rest of it was barely tolerable. I had to return to plate about 12-15 pieces that could not be chewed. I was the unlucky one, because a buddy next to me at the table ordered the same thing. His was fine. There isn't anything bad to say about Capital Grille, and everyone knows it. We went for Mothers Day and our mom was treated like royalty as were we, and it wasn't even our day. I am not a big fan of carpeting in restaurants, but this is probably the only place I would eat because they take care of the place and you can tell the workers really care about who they are taking care of and that they enjoy what they do. We had to send our ribeye back as it was tough and the manager was condescending and asked if we had dined at the Capital GrIlle previously. Mashed potatoes were lukewarm. Service was spotty. But I do think it's nice that the bread is hot, and they offer a variety, which is why it's a 8.25 Main course- 8.25 I ordered the 10oz filet, but the seasoning used was ehhhhhhh, maybe even a hindrance to the meal as a whole. But the meat was cooked perfect and tasted amazing apart from the seasoning they used. Sides-10/10 I ordered the mashed and creamed corn(which isn't offered on most high end resturaunt) the sides were spectacular, no complains, and they complemented the meal perfectly, on top of that, they offered half orders of sides which other high end restaurants do not offer, which is always nice for a solo diner! Service-9.25/10 My server was attentive, never told me no to any request I made and delivered on everything I expect out of a waiter. They were also dressed really nice. The main course came out at a little later than expected which is why I can't give service a 10/10. 2nd drink test-7.5 I like to order a second drink and specifically tell the waiter that I would like it to come with dinner. It was deconstructed with hardboiled egg, whole capers and onions were set on the side of the whole dish of steak. The actual mains were great. I had the 22oz bone in ribeye which was very small for a 22oz. Looked like more like 12-14oz. The strip was amazing and I will order that next time. 14oz that was bigger than my 22oz. Fillet was beautiful cooked perfectly and was a good portion. Massive wine selection and lots of great options for $40-60/ bottle. Desserts were also not shabby here. Chocolate coffee cake was excellent. The creme brulee was excellent. The coconut cream pie was cute with lots of whip cream and little of the coconut custard.
