He was attentive, friendly and very helpful. I was happily surprised by how good the food was. I had the grilled salmon and a lobster tail. It was only $10 to add a lobster tail. It's pretty small (4 oz), but it was cooked to perfection! The salmon was also perfect! It came with 2 sides. I ordered a sweet potato and the crispy brussel sprouts. The sweet potato was a little undercooked, but it was fine, as I had so much other stuff to eat. They served the salmon on a bed of rice pilaf. Needless to say, I had plenty of leftovers and this meal turned into three! My daughter got a steak with a baked potato and French fries. She said her steak was done a little more than medium-rare, but it was still very good. She also had plenty of leftovers. My other daughter got the churrasco with the rice pilaf and fries. She said steak was really good and liked their chimichurri sauce. My husband had a steak with a skewer of shrimp, fries, and rice pilaf. He said he was also happy to find all of his food to be very tasty and well prepared. He also had leftovers. For 3 steaks, a lobster, shrimp, and salmon our check was $117. Was Take-Away order - Ribs were fine, however 20 oz Ribeye was way over cooked - order was Med-Rare for a Takeaway order - which which should always be under done - due to carry over cooking in a closed take out container - when opened it was more like Med-Well .... very disappointed. The Chimichurri sauce sauce, an add on with $, was very oily ?? this sauce should be very fresh and sharp to cut the richness of the mean - it was half oil and very little punch of vinegar, garlic or greens. Jacket potato was similar in that when unwrapped, it was very greasy. Will try the take away again, but will ask for Rare cook. Did OB change their method for cooking ribeye? I came for my boyfriend's cousin's birthday here. The food was pretty good. We started off with the bloomin onions. Which are always a hit. They brought the appetizer but they didn't bring small plates for us to serve ourselves. We had to ask for them. The salad was fresh and pretty big for a side dish. I felt the dressing could have been distributed a little bit better tho. The bottom had heavy dressing which kind of grossed me out. The entree I ordered was a 6oz sirloin and loaded baked potato. Must always have the blooming onion and appreciated that they did it just golden and it was not as good as mine and was traded for a baked potato soup. Both hubby and I had the 6oz steak, him with the loaded baked potato soup, & Cesar salad. I had the same with the sweet potato with a house salad. Atmosphere is much brighter and the food still working on getting there with some items like the French onion soup which probably needed a little more sherry. My husband and I decided to have dinner at this Outback location last Saturday night [around 8pm] and it seemed like we walked in to "dinner and a show" Ambiance - restaurant: On a Saturday at 8pm, the place was unkept with small particles of food on the floor, a sanitizing bottle on the ledge of the bar and the women's bathroom had toilet paper all over the floor, toilets were dirty and, overall, it seemed like it had not been cleaned out in hours. Ambiance - Bar area: We decided to sit in one of the booths by the bar. There were three guests that clearly had been over-served since they were screaming profanities to other guests across the bar, all while being egged on by the bartenders and, at times, the bartenders were partaking on the shenanigans. We were there for a good couple of hours and not once did a manager stopped by to quiet down the disruptive behavior that we, and other guests, were enduring. Service: Rob was our server; and although he took a good 10mins to stop by our table, he did apologize and it was smooth sailing after that. He was gracious enough to treat us to dessert. His service, professionalism and courteous behavior towards us was the reason we did not walk out of this disruptive restaurant. Food: Ordered the Steackhouse Mac and Cheese Bites, Chicken on the Barbie and the Outback special. All dishes were fresh, brought to us on time by Rob and, overall, good. The carrot cake that Rob recommended was delicious. Not coming back to this location any time soon...there are plenty of other Outbacks that I can spend my money at without the "dinner and a show" shenanigans. read more

I hadn't been here in quite some time. I had a craving for ribs and this is where I ended up. Outback did not disappoint! Oh how I'd missed that warm bread and butter while you wait for the entree. I ordered my ribs with fries and a salad. A simple yet quite delicious meal. The meat melted off those bones! My husband opted for a "new" menu item (for us), the Blooming Chicken. Essentially it's a breaded crispy chicken breast smothered in same spices as the blooming onion. It even comes with the accompanying dipping sauce. He loved it! Came for lunch and the hostess continued to seat our server one table after another. It got to the point where our server had 7 tables at once and pretty much all at the same time. This caused the server to not come to the table for a while, took water and bread another while, and then the food quality was terrible. The staff looked like they were running around going crazy not able to handle the crowd. It's definitely poor management by not putting guests on a wait to be able to handle the service, as well as the demand in the kitchen. It's terrible to put servers in a situation like this where it leaves them with no other option than to do the best they can and risking not making what they should in tips. read more

Absolutely terrible experience -- from start to finish. The service was slow, inattentive, and barely functional. Our server took the order, disappeared, and never returned. Plates were left sitting on the table, drinks went unrefilled, and not once did anyone check in. The food? Overcooked, dried out, and clearly left sitting on hot plates far too long. Even the manager acknowledged the issue but chose to do nothing to make it right. For the $160 I spent, I could have had a better meal -- and far better service -- at a fast-food restaurant for a fraction of the cost. Bread and butter - decent starter Ordered drink from special menu. Disappointed that the drink didn't look like the picture. I mentioned it to the waitress; she minimized my observation. Ordered chicken wings, burger, baked potato. Everything was adequate...salty...but edible. Only able to eat two wings, the potato and two bites of the burger..salty... What a disappointing visit we had on 9/5/22. The location was not busy yet it took over an hour and half to get our food. The tables in the restaraunt remained dirty the entire time we were there. The food when it arrived was cold, and appeared to have been sitting in the window for a long period of Time. There were 5 people in our party and all of us ended up sick after we left. This photo shows the smallest sweet potato ever provided. The chicken was dry, lacked flavor, and was cold. We did not want to ask to replace and we left most The food untouched on the plate as it was already 10:00 and we arrived at 8:20pm. Not a good experience at all. I was very disappointed with this particular outing. I decided to go in this particular outback and treat my parents to a nice steak... oh, boy, was I wrong. Let me be clear before reviewing the food: the service itself was excellent and our servers were nothing but accommodating and helpful and nice. It is a pity that the meat was... awful, to be honest. We got in a bit after lunch time, we were seated right away, got our menus, our waters and out bread and butter which, as usual, was excellent. I ordered a Melbourne Porterhouse. I specifically asked the server how on point was the cook with the order because (it has happened before) I want it medium-rare, not rare, not medium. She assured me she'll let the kitchen know. As for the sides, I ordered mashed potatoes and the soup of the day (which was a delicious onion creamy soup, not the usual French onion soup). My father ordered the same as me, and my mother got a center cut sirloin with mashed potatoes and... I forgot which was the second side. We also ordered a couple of beers. As I mentioned before, the bread and butter and the onion soup were beyond excellent. We enjoyed them very much.. The beers were also very nice, though I'd recommend NOT to get the large one because by the time you get to the bottom of it, it will be warm, no matter how perfectly cold they bring it to you. Then... the main plates. My mother always orders medium well, which is bad enough when they make it properly... but this was all the way well-done (i.e.: almost ruined). Either way, she doesn't have many qualms about it... but the mashed potatoes are a bit more... I guess sour would be the way to describe it... they were not bad, but they were not good either. All three of us had the mashed potatoes and all three of us think the same. Two things about the meat. One: I would have expected to taste at least a bit of meat on my meat, but it was so covered in whatever spices they used, that that's all I could taste. Two: Outback has in their menu the scale of redness. Even so I did talk to the server about the "Medium Rare". The server assured me she talked to the cooks, so there was no miscommunication... can anyone explain to me why more than half of my Melbourne Porterhouse was closer to "well-done" than "medium-well" and the other half (the closer to the bone) was maybe we could call it "medium"? They advertise the meat as their specialty and, again, they do have the redness chart in all their menus. Now, I don't believe in wasting food. Returning something that's edible just because it was not to my taste, resulting in them only throwing food to the trash and bringing me a new plate (which is not guaranteed to not be equally bad); so when I mentioned this to the server (and showed her the well-done meat) and she offered to replace it I declined. This does not mean it is a forgivable matter. I think will avoid this particular Outback location in the future. And it's a pity that good servers are being wasted there. read more

At one point, Outback was almost every family's go to restaurant, but this location has really declined. Prices have gone up, but the quality of food has gone down. The cook on steak is rarely on point. And their chicken is always overdone. Service is hit or miss. And now, with the rest of the mall closed for reconstruction, and newer restaurants popping up across the street, I really question if this location has it in them to stay afloat. read more

When I went with my boyfriend, it was close to 8 p.m. and we had to wait about 10-15 minutes for a table to free up for us. But it was ok. Because I wasn't going to stray from my diet...so I ordered their Aussie Cobb salad. And it was really good. Plus we shared their famous blooming onion. (It was a little greasy so I didn't eat as much as he did...but it was still a good appetizer & it was the cheapest on the menu.) He had a steak and it was cooked to his liking. By the time we left, we were both full and happy which is the only thing that really matters. So I would recommend it to anyone...just be careful on what time you go. I'm not sure if this was staffing issues or if the server wasn't have a great day, but our experience here was not good. Our food an hour and a half to come out - not exaggerating. I order my steak at a medium temperature and it came out well done. I asked for a sauce to help swallow the well done meat but it was never brought to me. At the same time, we ordered a meal to go, and upon asking for the check, that was not put onto our tab and the order was never made. This Outback is awesome. The food is excellent and the service is great as well. When it gets real busy it can get tough on the wait but you get great value for the money. I will typically order the Bone in Ribeye, which tends to be really good. Anywhere else you could pay $36 - $45 for that steak, so at $29.99 with two sides you can't beat it. Quick last minute Happy Hour on a Thursday night with one of my favorite people. I got there first, about 4:40 p.m., sat in a booth in the back inside the bar area. There were a few people scattered throughout the restaurant. Shortly after I sat myself, the lovely young Melissa stopped at my table and took my drink order. She had a Fantastically warm and bubbly personality, everything you want in a server. Soon after I got my drink delivered, by friend arrived, starving of course. Melissa took her food and drink order and gave us new warm bread because the one she gave me, that I forgot to mention had gotten cold. I did not order any food, as I was still stuffed from lunch. My friend said her food was yummy. Our drinks were perfect. I ordered Tito's vodka dirty martinis, extra dirty. My friend ordered the Margarita Flight. Her favorite was the BlackBerry one, but she said they were all delicious. Melissa even remembered to ask if we were members of their dining rewards, which we are!!! The best part was the drinks were part of their Happy Hour!!!! It was a quick visit to catch up but Melissa and bartender Ryan made it highly enjoyable.
