Down Under Delmonico Ribeye* 15 oz
    Andres A.

The down under Delmonaco Ribeye was such a great dish I highly recommend it for meat lovers. Only negative thing I can say is I ordered the steak medium rare and it arrived well done. The manager swapped it out and I got my meal after all my friends finished eating. If it wasn't for that I would have rated 5 stars. When the steak finally arrived it was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I also had the loaded baked potato and steamed broccoli on the side. Next time I'll emphasize more on how I want it cooked so that it can come back right the first time and I can enjoy my meal with my friends!

Went back after a long time away...some hits and some misses. Their specialty is steaks, can't go wrong with that. Their food has become a bit better. Still it's loaded with extra sauce and fried sides. Opt for salad and/or steamed veggies with mashed potatoes. We tried their Queensland chicken and shrimp pasta and it was disappointing. Too much sauce, seasoning, and my chicken was rubbery. My son liked his though. Their drinks are good, with the koala or rubber koala duck, it gives it a cute touch. My advice stick with the steaks. Service was good, depends on who you get.

I've been to Outback a million times in my life, but this was my first time at this location. We went for the Veterans Day special for my husband. The food was as expected since we've eaten at this chain many times. I had the 6 oz sirloin and baked potato. It was cooked perfectly. My husband had a burger which he enjoyed. My child had chicken tenders which I thought were a little heavy on the breading. Somehow I forgot to take pictures of everything except my sangria! Everyone we interacted with was friendly and kind including our server. But the service was, unfortunately, not great. Our server seemed to be experiencing some brain fog and was just not on it. I tried to give her grace, but in the end it just really impacted our experience. I ordered the "early diner" combo and realized she hadn't asked about the drink. I wanted to bring it up since I was supposed to get a free beer or soda, but she didn't come back to the table forever, basically until our meals were almost there. And when I asked about it she told me it came with beer, soda, or water, and she had rung mine in as a water... I tried to clarify if the price was less with just water but she confirmed it was the same... so I asked her to please bring a soda.. I heard her ask the table next to us "you already ordered right?" and they had not, in fact, ordered which is sort of a serious thing for the server to not realize. We had no silverware, and when the food runner brought our salads, I asked for some. He said he'd bring some but he never returned. So I asked a nearby busser where I could get some. He readily offered to go get some. It took him a couple min though, so I assume the issue was there wasn't any rolled silverware ready and maybe he had to find some on another table or roll some? The service just took fooorereeever. We were there almost two hours but for no good reason. The food was okay but not good as I remembered it (except that my steak temp was cooked perfectly).

I find it odd I had not yet reviewed this spot but maybe it's better I waited until we came one too many times to review them. In the end, who hasn't been to an Outback?! lol I feel like there's always room for improvement, specially because restaurants like this have been around forever. I used to love their baked potato soup but was disappointed last time. Same happened with their coconut shrimp. Safe items to go with I'd say the baked potato, burger, steaks, ribs. I do love their bread and the sirloin that the kids get. Service is a hit or miss for me, as it is in most places.

I'm very disappointed with the quality of the food I was served at this Outback. The broccoli which is supposed to be steamed had black spots on the stems and side, (basically signs of bacteria growth or mold). The manager was dismissive and rude, merely offering to get me a new batch of broccoli, and raising her voice. The place was dirty overall and clearly very poorly run. Disgusting.

Nice outdoor seating and delicious wedge salad that I crave! Perfectly balanced except I recommend light on the dressing because the last time I was here it was drenched in dressing. This time I ordered light and next time I will ask light basalmic glaze. But I love this salad and recommend it! Also I got $10 fettuccini shrimp to go! The hostess and servers are nice and quick and the outside seating is great since outdoor seating is limited in Kendall.

Wow what can I say excellent service by Lorena. We went with the pictures on the menu (lol) she brought me my wedge salad better than the pic. My husband ordered the steak and Alice chicken he loved it and to end the cheesecake super . We definitely recommend if you are in the area. Go Outback!!!

Pretty much everything left on my plate that was served to me as nothing was edible

When the first Outback franchise opened in my town I was an immediate fan. Reasonable prices, excellent steak with a unique seasoning that was truly enjoyable. They seem to pride themselves on both atmosphere and service. A friend of mine and I liked it so much we visited it a few times a week . Yes it was that good. Fast-forward approximately three decades later. Different city, different Outback. One of the worst meals I have ever been cursed to encounter at a restaurant. And one of the worst restaurant managers I could ever even imagine. My wife ordered the chili that she always enjoys at Outback restaurants. Usually a cup or bowl thick with meat and not overwhelmed by fillers and beans. It is a hearty meal for somebody with a smaller appetite like she has. I, on the other hand, have a slightly bigger appetite and ordered the bone in ribeye cooked, medium-rare with asparagus and the blue cheese, pecan chopped side salad. This is my usual meal and I have had it and beeb pleased many times at many Outback restaurants, including this one. Keep in mind that both the salad and the asparagus are an up-charge. It did not start out well. The salad was absolutely drenched in dressing and I could not tell if the lettuce was wilted or if it was just drowned. The ingredients were not particularly chopped and it was not the usual enticing presentation. Not being one to complain. I decided to just eat some of it and move on, anticipating a more satisfying steak dinner. That was not to be. My dinner was dropped off and and at first glance, I was optimistic about the steak, but was quite unhappy with the unappetizing looking asparagus. As my waitress was busy with a large table and I had plans to visit a store after dinner that would close if I delayed finishing my meal, I decided to just go ahead and eat rather than call her over. Major mistake! The asparagus turned out to be as inedible as they were on appetizing in appearance. Then I cut into the main event. There, I discovered that there was a much larger section of fat than I am accustomed to in a ribeye steak served in a restaurant. I continue to cut and cut until I reached meat. At that point as can be seen in the picture approximately 70% of the volume of the served portion had been removed. The remaining miniscule amount of steak was also drowned in butter and seasoning and, while cooked well enough, was not at all enjoyable. My wife, at the same time attempted to eat the chili which turned out to be a bowl of tomato and spices with not a morsel of neat. It actually made her gag. Literally. After coughing and drinking water for several minutes, she pushed to the side. When Ashley finally completed taking the order of the large table, she came over to see how we were doing, and we told her how awful the meal was. She politely went to get her manager, and that turned out to be the nail in the coffin. The manager kept cutting us off and clearly did not want to hear our complaints. We were clearly "bothering" her. Being people that don't usually complain so as not to ruin our own dinner experience, it was appalling to experience how poorly she treated us. She contradicted my wife and tried to tell her there was plenty of meat in the bowl. And then she told me that if I didn't like the "marbelization" of the meat, I should have called the waitress over before cutting into it and they would have gladly replaced it. So here's the thing. "Marbelization"is the distribution of fat throughout the meat which melts into the meat and gives it flavor. It is a good thing. What it is not is a replacement of the meat by a globular fat strip. In addition, it is not immediately evident in a cooked steak until cutting into it where such fat ends and the meat begins . Her lack of understanding of her product was appalling but her lack of caring about it was disarming. She took the asparagus up-charge off the check. She took the uneaten chili off the check. But I still paid over $40 for a steak which essentially was three or four bites of beef and a lot of fat that was left on the plate. She dismissed our complaints as if it was our fault. And it was. It was our fault to mistake this for a reasonable dining establishment. A mistake we will not make again. DO NOT EAT HERE is the only advice that I can give.

    6 oz Sirloin

My first visit to this outback location in town and country mall. Lunch on a Thursday. We both opted for the lunch special of 6oz sirloin. Me with a side salad (it was huge!) and my lunch buddy got a loaded sweet potato. We got yummy brown bread and butter and for dessert, the brownie with ice cream and whipped cream with chocolate sauce. Everything was delicious and perfectly sized. In 2025 with prices thru the roof, we got a delicious lunch for a mere 13.99 (dessert was extra) each. How can you beat that? And the service was spectacular!! Highly recommend.

    Veronica G.

The steak was juicy and served in a generous portion, pretty much what you'd expect from a large casual dining restaurant. They recently increased their prices, and I'm not sure the menu justifies it. I do know they recently launched a $15 three-course meal, although it's not available at this location.

Always a solid choice for dinner. Steak are tasty, service is fast and you get seated quickly. The rib eye steaks are highly recommended. The sides choices are excellent. Super clean location. Service staff are very nice and helpful.

The food was great, but the loaded mashed potatoes were unfortunately cold. Service could be improved. Our drinks sat empty for a while, and I had to track down our waitress for a refill. Overall, a decent experience, but with some room for improvement.

The restaurant looks clean and is nicely decorated. We got seated right away and were given water and bread. I ordered the Outback Center Cut Sirloin, house salad, and a fully loaded baked potato. The potato was a bit salty, and the meat was undercooked. We ordered a Chocolate Thunder from Down Under and shared with two other people. The ice cream in the dessert was melted. This experience was not the best, but I've had better visits at this and other Outbacks.

Driving down Kendall Dr., I noticed El Toro Loco and, having been to several of their other locations, figured it was a safe bet as Toro Loco never disappoints. This location, at Kendall Dr. and SW 105 Ave, sits in a small shopping center where most of the businesses are closed at night, so parking was plentiful and stress-free. The restaurant itself is fairly new, very clean, and features the same consistently nice décor you expect from other Toro Loco locations. It wasn't too busy, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The hostess was very friendly and let us choose our own table before walking us over. Our server (I wish I remembered her name) was knowledgeable, attentive, and extremely helpful, especially when it came to selecting our steaks. We started with the manchego croquette appetizer, which was absolutely delicious. Of course, we couldn't forget the two ice-cold Toro Loco beers, which were perfect. For our main course, we ordered the 1-lb Prime Entraña (outside skirt) Wagyu steak, which happened to be 20% off on Mondays, a great bonus. The entrée came with a salad and two sides; I chose the garlic rice and tostones. My steak was cooked medium-rare, exactly as ordered, and was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Even though the portions were generous, I hadn't eaten all day, so we decided to share dessert. We went with the Torreja, and all I can say is OMG... amazing. A perfect way to end the meal. Overall, we had a fantastic dinner with excellent service and truly enjoyed what could have been a quiet Monday night at home. Instead, it turned into a great dining experience. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to this location soon. Highly recommended!

One of my friends only eats fish and chicken, so menu availability mattered. I have had the chicken skewers, chicken fajita, and grilled chicken before so I thought we were safe. Unfortunately, they were out of chicken, which was surprising. I have eaten here many times, so running out of such a core item stood out and was disappointing. The food I did have was good churrasco, hamburgers, grilled octopus, lobster bisque, and the picanha, The restaurant was quieter today which I prefer, especially when dining with family and trying to talk. The service was great. The staff was attentive, friendly, and helpful throughout the visit. That helped balance out the experience. I would still return because of past consistency and strong service, but I hope better planning avoids basic menu shortages in the future. I would call in advance to make sure they have the full menu.
