This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants! The service is incredible! The staff treat us like family! The managers are amazing! The food is spectacular! our bill for my wife and I came to $127. I signed up to get on the rewards program, by doing this you get a free blooming onion. we got the onion at no charge. when I went to pay the bill I gave the waiter the money and a aarp card witch they deduct 10% from your bill; the waiter told us since we got the onion for free we could nt get the discount. don nt know why this would have anything to do with not getting the discount. so in the end I really did not get a free complimentary gift, plus I lost the extra $2.70 which I would have got with the discount. also the steak was very tough and chewy and the fries were very salty. Normally we have had good experiences at Outback. We sat down quickly which was great - no wait with the exception of a few minutes. The meals were not the usual standard. The appetizer was just ok (the 3 cheese steak dip), I could have done without it. Then salads...I got the wrong dressing. I said it was fine. I didnt want to waste the food, so I ate it. Good salad. The meal...filet mignon. I ordered it medium. Came out closer to medium well to well. Not a bit of pink. The steak had even been split before being served. I only had a few bites. Too dry. My husband's meal came out fine. My daughter steak was fine but her veggies were so over cooked you couldn't even cut them. Total mush. At the end of the meal we did let the waitress know. She could see the meals were not served as ordered and she apologized. I told her I knew it wasnt her fault but it was disappointing. I believe she talked to the manager. We got two sodas comped and a free dessert for next time. (Still tipped her well though - cant blame the waitress here). We handed the free dessert off to someone coming in. We wont be back. $65 for a bad meal. Too many other good restaurants around to go back again. If that continues this place wont stay open much longer. read more

I understand that for some, getting a steak cooked perfectly can be challenging. And I certainly would give a restaurant who specializes in everything, a bit of latitude for getting it wrong. But, when you go to a STEAKHOUSE and order a sirloin, well done-no pink I expect them to get it right. This is the one place I shouldn't have to send it back three times for temperature. The final straw was when I finally got to eat two bites of it, I find a huge stream of hard fat through the center. Manager was annoyed, rude, and comped our check 25%. She looked at us like we were crazy. I have made a personal decision to no longer pay for high priced meals under these circumstances. We left hungry. Next time, I will pay for my drink only. They have great food and great service. What more can you want? I especially love the Queensland pasta or the ribeye depending on my mood. The blooming onion is a must and the chocolate thunder is fantastic for dessert. The servers are always friendly and upbeat which I definitely appreciate. Ok, first of all, the blooming onion ring and their bread was amazing to start with.I also ordered medium rare ribeye which I always enjoy. However, it took at least 30 minutes to come out and it was way too salty!!! I had one bite and sent it back. Instead, this time i got a piece of rare with no seasoning at all. Seriously? I'd say the worst piece of steak that I ever got. Very disappointed with this experience. Plus service is super slow. Couldn't find my waitress most of time. They did take the steak off of bill. My boyfriend and I went to this location about a year and a half ago for the first time. We expected a long wait because it was on a Saturday night. When we sat down, our waiter promptly took our drink order but it took about 15-20 minutes for him to return with the drinks. We let it slide. But then he got two tables seated near us and was more concerned about their food and drinks. It about 30 minutes to receive our food and another 10 for our check. We swore we wouldn't go back for a long time due to the inadequate service. Now, this past weekend (January 6th, 2017), we returned because we were give a gift card for Christmas. We were hesitant to go but decided to give it another shot. The wait staff this time around was phenomenal. Even though they ran out ribs, which my boyfriend ordered, the substituted another entree and gave him a free beer. That's a win in my book. Our opinions about Outback Steakhouse have definitely changed since this experience. Keep it up, Outback. read more

I decided to order outback steak since all of us are social distancing and I didn't want to go to a grocery store. I ordered a steak for my fiance and I, both Medium steaks. She got a filet and I got a bone in ribeye. Great. I went and picked up curbside. It was great, staff was really nice and courteous of the social distancing rules. When I got home though, i cut my steak to find that my Medium steak was actually completely raw. It wasn't even close. I tried calling the place but kept getting busy signals. I just threw it away. I ordered the filet mignon with a lobster tail here for dinner. The steak is a 6 oz cut which is great because with the lobster, complimentary bread, and included sides, I don't need a huge 16 oz hunk of meat anyways. I got corn tortilla soup and fries. The soup was actually really good, I would recommend it over the veggies which look very basic and the mushrooms, which were mediocre. The fries were good, although I was sad that they serve sweet potatoes and not sweet potato fries. I got the steak cooked medium and and it was tender and juicy. The meat in the lobster tail was a bit salty and tougher than I like, though. Someone else in my party ordered some kind of shrimp and steak dish, and was super disappointed because the picture on the menu was very misleading. The steak was about 1/3 as thick as in the picture, and the shrimps were tiny. I know you can't expect your meal to look as good as their staged and touched up photos but it was really a huge letdown in comparison. She did also order the raw tuna appetizer and ate it all herself and loved it. This place is pretty good for a fun night out with family. read more

The manager saved the day here for us, so we decided to give them 3 stars. If it wasn't for him, it would've been lower. We arrived at this restaurant at 5pm on a Friday evening, and the restaurant was more than half empty. We were told there would be a 10 minute wait because all of the wait staff for the night had not arrived yet. No problem there. 30 minutes later, we were still waiting and they were seating people that had come in after us. I approached the podium, and asked why we hadn't been seated, and it turns out the host never entered us or our pager number into the system. The manager was embarrassed that this had happened, he sat us right away and got us a complimentary appetizer. The waitress was very nice and started out good. We ordered our meal, and she refilled waters. She ran out of water in her pitcher and my daughter's didn't get filled. She didn't come back with a full one until much later. Our soup arrived late, and our meals came right in top of it. My son's fries didn't arrive until after he was done with his entree, and was delivered by the manager. The food was fantastic, though. It's clear that this location has some issues, but I'm glad that the manager is doing his best to stay on top of things. read more

We missed it. Sorry." "No problem, just cook me up another one." "Uh we can't do that without the Manager's approval." "So get the approval." "The manager's too busy cooking meals. Can't come and talk to you." "I'll come inside." "You can't come inside, Sir." "Alright. Just cancel my order and credit back my card." "We can't do that." "Who can?" "Well our manager could but like I said, too busy preparing meals for our other customers." "So he takes two minutes to run my car through." "He won't come out. You can call the delivery service and ask for a refund." "I'm the G*ddamned delivery service! I'm in your parking lot!" You can see how this is going. So I take the order anyway and get home (~1 mi from the restaurant). Food Cold. Chicken pounded as flat a legal pad - dry. Wrong Salad No Brown Bread The spicy mustard for the Onion is open and overturned on the bottom of the bag. I can't get a manager or a refund "THE NIGHT BEFORE A NATIONAL HOLIDAY?!?!" After a 20 minute wait, the little pager thingy lit up and vibrated, and we were seated. Yeah, Outback packs 'em in, and they deserve to be this busy. Damn me for saying that about a chain. Kay almost ordered the Shrimp and Filet, but was thwarted by the most personable and honest server I've ever run across anywhere; Daniel H. "I wouldn't order it if I were you," he said with a sheepish look on his face. He then went on to say it tasted like roast beef. To prove his point, he even brought out a slice of it for us to sample ourselves. I kind of liked it as it tasted like prime rib to me, but I digress... Kay ended up ordering the Outback Special & Crabcakes. I didn't get to taste her "signature sirlion" as they call it, but I thought her crabcakes were a notch above average. I went with the Bloomin' Burger, which is a burger topped with petals from the famed Bloomin' Onion and that magnificent sauce they serve with it. Let's face it, you get the petals to get the sauce. I got the burger to get the sauce and the crunchy onion petals, all of which worked well with the fresh ground magic that is the burger patty. I've been told that one should never order a burger at a steakhouse. Whoever came up with that rule needs to try one of Outback's burgers. Dan was so cool, he even let us get flexible with the sides. I am tired of fries, and that Dressed Baked Potato was callin' my name. I mean, have you ever seen the pictures? Unlike many an online dater, DBP looks as good in person and tastes even better. Man had I been craving a big, obnoxious, dolled-up-to-the-nines spud, and this delivered with a smile, a dance, and a song, not to mention loads of sour cream, bacon bits, cheddar shavings, and chives. Our app was the Ahi Tuna. It was almost Sashimi as they do cook it rare and serve it cold. Sashimi snobs might wanna give this a try. You get about 8 thin squares per order draped over a chunk of lettuce and two dipping sauces, a wasabi vinaigrette and a creamy ginger-soy. Call us n00bs or a poseurs or whatever, but we both liked this and never expected to find a dish like it at Outback. Outback has a kickin' new dessert called The Strawberry Waffle Shortcake, something you think would have come straight out of the quaintest little diner you never heard of. Four cloud-like homemade shortcake waffles are stacked atop one another. In between each layer is a gorgeous custard of some kind (they call it 'almond sweet cream') along with toasted almonds, strawberries of course, and this ridiculously good whipped dreamcream. "Hey Dan, is this whipped cream made in-house?" I hadda ask. Dan grins, pauses for a second, and nods his head. "I knew it!" Seriously though, I really wish more restaurants would make their own whipped cream. It's so much better than what comes out of a tub or aerosol can and really pushed this already incredible dessert, one that is probably Outback's best to date, into the ozone. Outback's Down Under fare is truly Above Par. Kudos again to Dan, one of the best servers ever. read more

It's okay. I assume you know the menu and the layout, so I will skip that. Service here is very good. It's a very standard Outback. Here's the problem: They consistently OVERCOOK their steaks. They have a "Temp Guide" in their menu with photos of cross-sections of beef, showing how cooked each level is. How can they miss it? But they consistently overcook by about 1.5 steps. Yes, my Medium (slight red center, mostly pink, see their own photo) comes out medium well. This is a steakhouse, so this is a failure. read more

Outback has great food and service. The restaurant decor is hip and the bloomin onion is beyond addictive. I had the filet on focaccia bread with a garlic spread. I like garlic, but the spread was too much for me. But with that being said, the filet was great on the focaccia bread and I received aujois on the side. I love Outback Steakhouse!!!! The staff here is ALWAYS very kind and work hard. I have been coming here since they have been here, so for quite a while, and I truthfully have never had s bad experience. The food is awesome and very reasonably priced. Some Monday's, they even have "blooming Monday" where you can get s FREE blooming onion appetizer (make sure to call ahead and ask though). Steaks are very flavorful, mashed potatoes are out of this world, and I highly recommend the grilled shrimp caeser salad as well. HOMEMADE CROUTONS- you can't beat em!! Sirloin, broccoli, and some sort of spicy chicken tortilla soup. Meat was cooked as we ordered, broccoli was tender but not mushy, soup as tasty. Prices are very reasonable, and modest portions are available, which is nice. This chain does not prescribe to the "force them to eat a lot or take home a bunch of food so you can charge them more" business model, and I appreciate that. The server did a good job, stayed on top of things, and corrected his one little mistake graciously and quickly. I reserve 5 stars for restaurants that distinguish themselves with outstanding food, or else this outback would have gotten 5. read more

My Wife and I had a wonderful experience at this location. I ordered the 22 oz bone in Ribeye with Caesar salad and fries. The ribeye was perfectly marbled for a ribeye, not too much fat and cooked to medium. For a $25 steak I could not have been happier. Our Server was attentive, prompt and very professional. My wife had the French dip steak sandwich which was cooked perfectly. After bad experiences at other locations we will drive the extra 15-20 minutes to come back and visit this one for sure. read more

We had ordered the 12 oz rib eye An that's we're "I" had a problem, this location on the rib eyes use a 17 herb seasoning I did not know that as for all the other Outbacks I have been to near Phila do not use this An to me it ruined my steak also my plate was "full" of water from the steamed veggies very poor plate presentation so I tried 2 bites an was not happy so the manager came out "very very nice man" we talked an offered me another rib eye reluctantly I said yes because I was full ( had crab legs as a side they were awesome ) so he came out with new steak ,"OMG" I think it was expired ! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Ordered take out last weekend since no find in due to covid. Ordered bloomin onion, chicken sandwich, two chicken salads with extra dressing, and a cup of potato soup. I drove 20 min to pick it up and 20 min back home. They gave us the onion (it was burnt) and the sandwich fine. The salads had no chicken or extra dressing (which we paid for). Called and spoke to the manager Amanda. She asked me to drive back to pick the missing food up which I declined to do. She told me it could not be delivered due to her driver calling off but offered to send vouchers in the mail which I declined because I have no intention of eating there again. I had to ask for my money back for the food I was not given, she didn't volunteer that. I was given a sob story about how this woman was a new manager and had inherited all these problems. She had me on hold so long I had to hang up and call back before she would give me my refund. She told me she had another customer to deal with which is fine, but rude not to tell me and just leave me on hold so long. After I hung up I realized we were also missing the soup. So I called back and this time the manager said she just didn't want any more issues and she would refund my bill and then hung up on me. I didn't expect such abrupt ending to the call so I called back to see if we'd been disconnected. Amanda then became rude and did not offer any sort of confirmation of refund. I write all this because this event happened a week ago and the charges are still on my credit card. Why are business given free reign to provide such deplorable food and lack of service and the customers suffer?? Will NEVER eat at an outback again. read more

Weak. The wife and I had some late dinner there on Saturday night, July 2, 2016. She had coconut shrimp and a Caesar salad. I ordered the large prime rib and a baked potato. Fully one half of my steak was completely fat or gristle...in other words not edible. We told the waitress and out comes the manager who listens to my complaint. Then he says, "Ya, that was the last piece of prime rib left in the kitchen. How about if I deduct $5 from the bill ?" Now, I have eaten steak in a lot of restaurants and that steak probably should never have even made it out to any table. What should have happened is the server should have come out and said that they were out of the prime, and I could have selected another cut of meat. And any respectable Steakhouse would have taken my steak completely off the bill, and not offered a measly $5 off the bill. Won't be going there again. read more
