    We've been going to this Outback since I was in middle school. I think the food used to be better way back when, but it's not terrible now. Plenty of parking in this shopping center. As for the food.....The wings are always good. House salad with either ranch or blue cheese. And then of course a steak. I went with the surf and turf option and was pleased with what I ordered. I never leave here not feeling stuffed.

    This Outback is a mainstay of the Clifton area. We popped in tonight and the service was prompt. I dropped two stars due to some issues I had with the dishes: the mixed veggies were kind of pitiful. The ribeye we ordered medium rare showed up rare. The fried shrimp was oily and the portion was smaller than expected.

    From out doors it looks closed. Very quiet and dark inside. There was one other party. Bartender Cooper was eager to talk, make our drinks and take our order. We started off with the appetizers Sydney Shrooms and Ahi Tuna. Shrooms were tasty. The tuna was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Nice size portions. Blackberry Martinis were delicious, certainly could not have just one. Cooper was very attentive, never letting our drinks get too low, lol Our steaks a sirloin and ribeye were grilled medium rare to our likings, seasoning perfectly and very juicy. Bake sweet potatoes fresh with the works, they always seem too small their so good ! This steakhouse chain has been around for a long time and service varies depending on location. The bar area was clean. Only saw Cooper he was friendly I appreciated that he listen to our cooking request. May the experience here at this location enjoyable

    Steak was pretty juicy, fairly decent, I didn't expect anything less or more. The steak was so big I couldn't finish it myself. This was split between 3 people and we still had leftovers!! Hand for scale!! The blooming onion was okay. It looks really pretty but a bit too salty for my taste. It would've been perfect if dialed down on the salt. Good service. Nice calm quiet vibe when we went for lunch.

    Food was delicious. My filet mignon was cooked medium well and seasoned well. Great, tender cut. Sides of asparagus, mashed potatoes, and a Caesar salad were good. It was not packed but not empty either. Good time for a Sunday afternoon for a peaceful meal. The koala punch was nice and fruity. Didn't have the little koala addition which means I'll have to come back and get another one . It was a good amount of sweet. Shoutout to my server Damien who helped me while I sat at the bar. Very good experience finally trying this location after living in the area for 5 years. I'm wondering how it is in the middle of the week

    Food is always hot and delicious. The service was amazing. I asked for a cup of ice and he came back with a large cup of ice in a to-go cup.

Dinner entreés were jambalaya pasta, the American wagyu burger, pulled short rib rigatoni and branzino almondine. There were zero complaints. We enjoyed EVERYTHING!! The bourbon butter cake with vanilla ice cream for dessert literally took me over the top. Upstairs, another host staff guided us to our table. The space had a lively feel, roaring with chatter from customers, and I could see parts of the kitchen where food was being prepared over an open flame, which added to the overall atmosphere. For the food, we started with the calamari. It was cooked well and had a nice texture, especially paired with the crispy onion shoestrings, which added a good crunch and flavor. It was served over a lobster sauce, although the lobster flavor wasn't very noticeable. The main issue was the salt level... it was quite heavy! The dish automatically comes with mashed potatoes, and while I was able to substitute the salad for broccolini, there didn't seem to be flexibility with the potatoes. After tasting the mashed potatoes, I wish I was offered to substitute it as it tasted like the brown box we grew up on where you just added water. When the food came out, the steak was closer to medium-well or well done rather than medium, and both the mashed potatoes and broccolini were a bit cold. I chose not to send it back since we waited but it did affect the overall experience. My guest ordered the ribs with fries and coleslaw. The ribs were well-prepared--tender with a clean pull off the bone--and were probably the highlight of the meal. The fries were also very good and came out hot. The coleslaw wasn't as well received, described as having too many of the tougher parts of the cabbage. Overall, the experience had some positives, especially in terms of atmosphere and certain menu items like the ribs and fries. While I did enjoy parts of the meal, it's not somewhere I would personally return to, but it may be worth trying once to form your own opinion.
