01/12/26 Monday 1:45pm . The worst experience I have ever had at any Outback around the country. The place was deserted and so I was seated in the bar area. Which I prefer at lunch. Server comes over and asks for drink order. When she comes back I place my order. The pick 3 special. A great deal. I order the salad, and bloomin burger. She doesn't ask what dessert I would want. Not a big deal since dessert isn't for a while. I ask for no raw onions. I love me some bloomin onion though which is why I ordered the bloomin burger. She asked well done. I asked for closer to medium. Bread is brought out by food runner. Salad makes its way out. It is nice and cold and crisp. Yay! My entree comes out via food runner. No server to ask for ketchup for my fries. Which I would have liked for my fries. Server never comes back to check on flavor or temperature of my burger, which is an issue because no bloomin onion on my bloomin burger. More waiting. I look around and see two other tables of folks dining, in close proximity, but no staff around. Finally my burger is getting cold and I would like my bloomin onion strings. I walk up the hostess station and inquire about how to speak to my server. I sit down and wait. The hostess informs me that my server is on an important call and won't be able to get back to work. Okay another server comes over and I explain my bloomin onions are missing. He brings a few that are cold as I am sure they have been sitting around in a holding pan. Maybe they forgot to put them on? No problem I just want to eat my burger before it is actually not warm anymore! Still no server. I wait for someone to come to my table and ask for dessert order, but I don't actually have a server anymore. So back to the hostess station I go. There is another server waiting in the bar area where we are seated but she looks to be off shift. A gentleman walks over to her as his server (I assume my sever) is nowhere to be found and he needs a to go box. I ask the hostess if I could please order my dessert with my server or a manager, someone. I am now told my server is on the phone with her bank and can't come back right now. The hostess says she will grab the manger. The manager walks behind the bar area doesn't acknowledge any requests and sends another server over to take my dessert order. This is now person number 3. Manager walks past us all and out to an empty dining room. No asking how my meal was, nothing. Dessert comes out and as I am finishing and preparing to pay on the mobile machine on the table, (since no server) lo and behold my server reappears. No apology for abandoning her customers. I didn't want nor need an explanation but an acknowledgement or apology would have been the polite thing to do. I pay on the mobile machine and leave. I am a bit broken hearted. Outback has always been my goto for family birthdays and celebration, but obviously they must be busy enough that customer service at lunch isn't a thing. I won't be back. Texas Road house is up the street and their service has always been amazing and their food too! read more

Great food everything was delicious. What really need to review is our waitress Rikki, I'm 60 years old and have had every type of waiter good,bad and horrible. Rikki should be Outback's manager of training, she does everything possible to make sure the customer is happy. It's an incredible how knowledgeable she is, it's like she can read your mind before you ever think about asking for anything. I would wait 30-45 minutes longer just to have her wait on us. visit 4/25/25 This place is never busy, it was late on Friday so stopped in. the Atmophere and food need help! Got a hamburger cooked medium well came out wayyy to pink and meat was falllilng apart and seemed soggy, I thought from fixing. I returned it for another, the meat was like 1/4 lb, just plain cheap meat. My spouse got ribeye also way undercooked, I did tell the manager that both are meals were not to order, he offer to fix my spouses food, but choose to keep it. this wasnt the first time our food not cooked to order, but they always fix it. It's not wonder the resturant is never busy, the atmosphere is bland, wood seats, wood wall, lame pictures. I dont know how they stay in business. This will be my last trip there. read more

First of all, I'm really picky about my steak. As a cattle rancher who raises and processes their own beef then grills it over live mesquite, we're pretty particular. The Caesar salad was not good. The lettuce was not fresh and it lacked a good dressing. The asparagus was grilled to perfection. The top shelf margaritas were excellent. I sat at the bar and service was great. Thanks, Courtney! The steak was cooked as ordered and well seasoned. It was, however, the thinnest rib eye I've ever eaten. It was not tender enough for my liking and had quite a bit of fat. Haven't eaten at Outback for a while and now I remember clearly why. Food quality is poor at best. Ordered Salads, Soups and Ahi Tuna. Salads lettuce seemed like it was on the last day before being thrown out, Soup over salted and didn't taste fresh. Tuna was the worst we have ever had from outback. No bright red to show freshness, dull burgundy color, limp, no taste. The 2.9 rating in Yelp is no surprise, just another poor quality Burleson corporate chain restaurant that puts profit over quality. I'm done with these places. read more

Food is lacking! Everything was bland, tough and cold. The service was slow but very nice.

We were driving by and wanted grab something to eat and we were debating on where to eat, and Outback was right here so we pulled over and it was around 1045 hours and they don't open until 1100 hours, so as we waited the manager came outside and let us come in earlier so we won't be cold. That was nice. Tammy, was our waitress, she was awesome, and amazing, she was a fast person and always made sure our drinks were filled and always came by to make sure we were well taken care of; she was running around helping so many different people, you can tell she loved her job and she treated everyone of us and other customers with love and respect and made sure we all was taken care of. We made sure to tip her very well, and i honestly really appreciate the love and dedication she had for my friends, and myself and all the other restaurant customers, thank you so much Tammy. So I was dining with a companion who decided when her salad came that she didn't want it because it was a specialty salad at an additional charge and it was tiny but the dressing had blue cheese vinaigrette which was simply brown goop. I didn't try it but I saw nothing blue about it. So the server who brought with blue hair it made some nasty comment about what is she supposed to tell the kitchen about the salad. So my companion replied that she changed her mind. The manager Carter came by and he was so kind and so apologetic. I don't think that anything was wrong with the salad, we just changed our mind. We weren't penny pinching. Our meal for two was 129.00 before tip. Anyway we were celebrating an event for my companion and this young lady put a damper on it. My ribs were delicious my fries were warm not hot. My companion had sirloin mushrooms and asparagus which the asparagus were to die for. No rarely say that about a vegetable. I'm mentioning our appetizers last. We had the coconut shrimp and crab cakes. The crab cakes were more breading than crab and they were very thin. The coconut shrimp never disappoint. I used to love Outback Steakhouse but this location is so bad they have me reconsidering doing business with Outback at all . I understand sometimes you can't get both ( good food AND good service ) but , at least one or the other has become the norm . Well , I did not get either ! Below average customer service from management or whatever they claim to be at least . Also bad food quality, taste, temperature , accuracy . Steak was burnt , dry and jerky like . Steak temp was cold, unseasoned , uncooked, and dry . Baby portion sized Salad was disgusting , brown iceberg lettuce pieces , and slimy green pieces in it . Potatoes tasted like they came out of an off brand instant package . Gross!! They forgot two of our items and then tried to argue with us saying we didn't order it even though it was in the receipt. Manager claims it didn't show in their side even they recruit shows it . Yeah ok buddy . Full disclosure. This meal was delivered using DoorDash. Ok so it all started with a dasher that could not find my house. This happens I understand that. This is not outback's issue. What is Outback issues is the fact the food was way under cooked for a $150 meal. Both these steaks shown in the picture are medium well and medium rare. Both are not even cooked to rare. The 2nd issues is we found a string of some sort. Outback said the dasher must have put in there. Smh. So short story is. We called Outback. Outback would not even make it right. They wanted us to drive to Outback at 9pm to reorder the food. The problem is we used DoorDash for a reason. DoorDash has no control over the food that is cooked. DoorDash should not be responsible for crappy cooks. Outback was putting all the blame on DoorDash. Come on Outback take reasonability for your crappy cooked food. So, Mrs. S and I have eaten at Outback many times, though not since we moved to Texas. Our experiences at the Outback in Tyngsborough, MA was always great. And we've eaten at other Outback restaurants and they were the same - great. This review is strictly about getting Outback food with a delivery service - Uber Eats. On Saturday July 11, we had nothing for dinner, so we decided to order in from the Outback Steakhouse in Burleson. The food arrived roughly 45 minutes after we ordered it - we live about 5 miles from the restaurant. Sadly, we were pretty disappointed. The Blooming' Onion was kind of smooshed down into the plastic container and it was sitting in a puddle of oil/grease. The "petals" were a soggy mess and it had a bit of a burnt flavor about it. Once we warmed it up in the oven, the rack of ribs was very good - as one would expect in the restaurant. The French fries, however, were also a soggy mess. We also ordered the Steakhouse Mac n' Cheese. It was okay. Why it didn't taste as good as normal, I don't know. Perhaps we were so put off by the Bloomin' Onion that our taste buds simply rebelled. The funny thing is that we discussed just going to the restaurant. . . we should have. I have no doubt that we would have enjoyed our meal far more. Oh, and the delivery charge and tip came to about 30% of the cost of the meal - and that was with a five dollar off coupon. Our recommendation? Do NOT order delivery from this (or probably any) Outback. I'm not sure it's anyone's fault that much of the order was far below an acceptable standard. . . it's probably what one should expect. I ordered a rib eye 12 oz med. It was a Monday early evening. I got exactly what I ordered. The seasoning is really good, and is one of the main reasons I like Outback, but the steak was a mediocre cut compared to other steakhouses of this caliber, like Logan's (right across the highway) or a Texas Roadhouse, (just up the road). This could be due to supply chain issues too. The baked potato was good, and the dinner salad was meh...Not too many places use iceberg lettuce anymore, Outback still does. I prefer greener greens, but lots of people like iceberg. The server was very attentive, as well as the people that bring your food. My overall experience was predictable meh food but very friendly staff. I would come back and give them another try, but I'll be sure to order something different. read more

We went to Out Back just for Alice Springs chicken. My husband and I went on a Monday night. We sat in the bar. Normally, we get great service, and the wait staff in the bar knows that you will add to your bill by ordering libations. Not today Junior. We had to flag down another server to get extra ranch dressing, a drink etc. The worst part, the chicken was dryer than a west Texas sand. The texture was beef jerky. The manager came over, and just offered us a dessert. Nothing more. I still had to ask for water three times.. Once from the manager, and twice from the wait staff. I really really want to like this place. I love outback food and keep hoping this location will stop disappointing, but every time we go here, our experience is less than desirable. Last time, I ordered a small steak cooked medium and they brought me what looked and tasted like the tongue of a shoe. Skinny, dried up and over cooked. At a steakhouse??? I will say that the manager comped my meal and tried to make it right, but the damage had been done. We gave it another shot for our anniversary dinner as it is close and it was a weekday. This time we had prime rib and it was excellent. What was not so perfect was our service. Yet they are charging like it's angus. Our drinks were strong but like really strong. Since it was service well and no face to face with bartender I can only imagine management doesn't know the bartender has no knowledge of pour count. I appreciated the all whiskey splash of coke drink though. The asparagus tasted like fish. Weird right?! I know. Inedible. I miss the sweet butter you use to get with bread.
