    Lobster Tails
    Shenouda N.

I went there with my team for dinner, service was quick and amazing. Every one enjoyed their drinks and steak but unfortunately I decided to order lobster tails and it was a mistake! First it was the smallest lobster tails I have ever seen. And it wasn't seasoned good. Overall it was okay experience.

My mom chose Outback for her birthday celebration. I had not been to an Outback in years; and sometimes I guess I come back to remind myself why I am ok going other places. Walking in we were warmly greeted and welcomed to what was a typical Outback Steakhouse. The ambiance was pleasant enough and the place was really clean. My food is what was just ok to me. W Bahrain a Bloomin' Onion, I will say that was good. I then had French Onion soup, and it was just ok. My main course was the Shrimp on the Barbi, and it was a bit salty. The best part of the meal was a Chocolate Thunder something, which was essentially a brownie (with nuts, btw in case you hav allergies) made into a hot fudge sundae. Everything was just ok, so I really hesitate to say I would come back. Review #2146

Reordered my steak last night because the 1st steak was SUPER FATTY, this pickup was was better!!! Almost Perfectly cooked until I cut open the middle and it was almost Rare in mind you, this is after it was microwaved. It was seasoned well though and definitely had less fat! The Curbside Associates are always nice and quick with service! This is the main location I visit

    Baked Potato Soup!! Amazing

I love a good onion ring--but these were amazing! I really liked how they were cut into smaller pieces and seasoned to perfection. My baked potato soup was absolutely delicious--I only wish I had ordered a larger portion! The customer service was great, and my partner mentioned her salad was super fresh. All around a solid experience. We'll definitely be back!

Disgusting lettuce on the Wedge Side Salad

Boo! I gave out back one more try and they failed me again. My to go order was missing three items. It's not that hard to get what you ordered right. One of the items was missing one of the ingredients which ruined the whole thing. And look at this nasty lettuce on the wedge salad. Pathetic! Won't be back!

This is a great place to enjoy a great meal, excellent service and a friendly atmosphere. The steak has always been cooked to perfection and tonight was great, too!

I was hesitant to order because I wasn't impressed in the past however they have really stepped it up!! Had a filet with chopped blue cheese salad both very good! Food was great temperature also. Fast service!

The food is consistently excellent. We went for dinner on a Saturday night (reservations are highly recommended). The wife had the chicken as a main entree. It was outstanding. The chicken was smoky, tender, and moist. It has a bevy of vegetables that are cooked perfectly. It comes with a side and she got the baked potato with everything. She loved everything about this entree. For me, it was an easy decision. I LOVE their wedge salad and started with that. The price has gone up a bit but it remains outstanding. For some reason, the waiter gave me a small but it was fine. The small in 2026 is $7.99 and the regular size is now $11.99. For my entree, I ordered from the appetizer menu and got the crab cake. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the crab cake. It has to be the best in Dallas. It is one half pound of pure crab meat, no filler. The price has gone up to $26.99 so it is not cheap, but it is outstanding quality. The cake was perfectly cooked and the crab was sweet. It comes with three dips but to me, I want to taste the crab so I did not use them. The kid had the old fashioned fries and devoured them. Our server, Mark, was attentive and efficient. Service was excellent as usual. Overall, this is one of the best restaurants in Dallas and IMO the best in the line of Kenny's restaurants. I cannot wait to return.

It was a great spot to start the evening. I kicked things off with the calamari and escargot, both were delicious and a strong start to the meal. For the main course, I split the filet and the ribeye special (non dry-aged) with a friend so we could try both. Both steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly, but I'd give the edge to the ribeye for flavor. On the side, we had the garlic mashed potatoes and the mushroom risotto. The risotto was easily the standout. I could have had two plates of it without hesitation. Overall, this is a great steakhouse with a great atmosphere and very attentive staff. Upstairs was less loud but we were seated in a huge booth for just the two of us. It was impossible to hear each other. We started out strong with the calamari. The calamari was definitely the most delicious item we got that night. Unfortunately from there it was downhill. For the cost, the steak tasted okay and not as tender as expected. My boyfriend got the American wagyu NY strip. We were at TX roadhouse earlier that week, and the steaks were comparable... I got the Sea bass which was good. The risotto and fish were very rich. The signature potatoes were tasty. The regular Mac and cheese side, I'd skip it. It was not worth ordering. The overall dinner took us about 2 hrs from arriving to leaving. Our order wasn't taken until about 40 mins after being seated... for the cost, I would have rather gone to Perry's or Capital Grill.

The staff is so friendly and seems like a family. The prices are 10% under comp eateries. It's as if the owners took the best part of all fine dining and combined them. Here it is a relaxed but respectful environment with food that you would think comes from a Michelin rated spot. The clientele is eclectic and younger. I'm 47 so I am not like those around me but can see the client base. I'm not sure if it's the minimal menu (please take this as an anti Cheesecake Factory comment) or the items compliments that are setting it apart. What I mean is the steak by itself is amazing. Truly a top 10 steak (ribeye at $48) or the accompanying sauce that it setting it apart. I advise take two to three bites from different stations of the meat. Then take the same bites with their paired glaze. Make your own decisions. You aren't telling the full story if you didn't pair it with a great house Bonanza cab (actually on happy hour except for Fridays). The verdict. This place will be one I will always take clients to when visiting Dallas. The verdict on me is that I'm a steak based reviewer so I might be wrong on all other aspects but the only likely wild card here would be the salads and seafood. I'm not here at a steakhouse for anything else. My wife can write that review. Last PS is that Dave the bartender is nice and accommodating and will let you explore the space . He is matter of fact but possibly could be a friend if not already to all. Watching Dave now live with his regulars says that he balances all customers very well. Negatives. Parking is just slightly odd. There is plenty of it and valet is free to customers. Let's not worry. No rush to get here at 5. The regulars and common come in around 6 as all others do on a Friday (this was my second night after being here for Thursday) Food has arrived. App is the carpaccio and holy shit wow. Not some boring small plate that exudes poor people suck. It's above average size like it should be . I'm not sure why the garlic bread is hear other than a nod to old school. My steak is in a to go box (nicely wrapped with utensils and yes that matters when you travel). This is my steak and if it sucks I'll remove the review. I'm kidding as it's a to go. This is a real world review. I do one long review every few years.

There are booths along the wall, although we were seated in the middle of this giant room. The restaurant is modern and has an upscale vibe. Dress ranged from casual to people getting dressed up. For starters, we shared the Oysters Rockefeller. They were not my favorite. The flavors were not balanced and there was too much garlic. A couple of the oysters were extremely chewy and had to be discarded. At $18, they were a disappointment. For entrees, the wife had the Branzino and liked it, although she mentioned several times that the Branzino at Zeppole is much better. I ordered the Bistro steak which is a 9 oz tenderloin. The meat was cooked to medium as requested. However, it was not seasoned at all. I guess the cook thought that the peppercorn would compensate, but I got my sauce on the side and ate the meat without. Only after I found out that the steak was not seasoned did I add the sauce. The sauce was ok but did not have a lot of flavor. I have had better. A big problem was that the "steak knife" that I was given was so dull that it was impossible to cut the steak across the grain. I could only sort of tear at the meat as I cut with the grain. The knife needed to be serrated and it was not. It was not a proper steak knife, which made eating the steak a chore. The meat was tender, but certainly not Prime and certainly not the most tender tenderloin that I have ever had. At $31, which is very inexpensive for tenderloin, I guess you get what you pay for. The fries were thin and crisp and the best part of the entree. For dessert, the wife and I shared a piece of pecan pie and it was excellent. Not too sweet, but sweet enough. Our server Marcella was professional and efficient. No complaints. There is complimentary valet parking. The concept behind this restaurant is an affordable steak house. These days, the cost for two people at an upscale steak house will easily exceed $300. Our bill at Steakyard was about half of that. Once again, you get what you pay for. Our meal was good, but not great. I could easily go 3 stars but I will bump it up one star based on the ambience, service, and dessert.

Our server was a bit condescending when we asked him to repeat himself, becoming over dramatic about his pronunciations. Very offputting. Secondly, they serve you some sort of hushpuppy-like things and garlic bread at the table, gratis. The hushpuppy-esque breaded balls were waaay overly sweet, almost like the cinnamon balls that Taco Bell has. I was expecting savory and decent breading. Neither. Overfried and dry. Ew. And the garlic bread thingies were nice on the outside, but way too garlicky for my tastes. Good if you're into garlic, I'm sure. To start, we ordered appetizers only because it didn't bode well how their hush puppies tasted. Didn't want to chance it until we tried the calamari and mushrooms. For drinks, we had a bottled IPA (of which they only have one variety) and I had a margarita rocks. How can the bartender win this "best bartender" award when they use way too much sweet & sour mix and got the blend wrong. The calamari was okay, though the batter was seasoned-free and we had to add salt to get anything out of them. The sauce they serve with it not very tasty. Surprising since it looked good. The shrooms were okay, fried into oblivion so much so that you couldn't taste the subtleties of the mushrooms themselves. For some reason, they used a different batter than the calamari, which would've been a better batter. They probably just used whatever batter they come with frozen -- it was bland and didn't enhance anything. The only thing that tasted normal was the ranch dressing you dip them in. At that point, we decided we didn't want to go any further with any main course menu items. Fool me once, fool me thrice.... Didn't want to chance it. We left and went to another sea food place (Anaya's) that has a better chef, attentive staff and a bartender who knows their shi-. This place is really more of a dive bar that happens to serve frozen sea food, which is fine if you like that sort of thing.... and if you're inebriated enough. Not a fan. Not coming back. PS, I've read Nate's management's responses to some of their Google reviews and they seem really snarky, like "surely, you let management know things didn't go well for you, right??" etc., like putting the onus on the customer to "do better" when it's their job to manage their food quality and service but apparently management doesn't taste what's coming out of the kitchen. I was wondering why the parking lot was half empty.
