I have been to this Outback twice in the past month. Both times I have received excellent customer service with friendly servers. I got the 8 Oz Sirloin both times and it was cooked perfectly (Medium Rare) both times. The first time the baked sweet potato was kind of small but tonight I got a regular baked potato and it was cooked perfectly too. The restaurant is very clean. Fois was mediocre and for the prices charged they could not modify items on the menu. The restaurant is dated and filthy carpets. Service is done "team style". I had a problem with the chili because it was served with green onions, I asked the runner to take it back and replace with a bowl without green onions, and after ten minutes passed a manager walked by and I stopped him and the a bowl came out but again had to wait five plus minutes for the oyster crackers to come. When my meal came the French fries had seasoning on them when I asked for no seasonings, and then my wife shared a brownie with ice-cream, which we asked the server to spit for us and her answer was she did not think the kitchen knew how to do. It was served again by another runner and when I asked for a separate plate and spoon, I was served a plate that was so hot it almost burned my hand. Needless to say, it has been over four years since we were at this restaurant and it will be another four years plus before we return to an Outback. The food is mediocre on par with a cheap cafeteria and the cafeteria probably has more attentive service. This is not the quality, service or cleanliness of a restaurant charging $30-$50 dollars per person. Save your money and go to Luby's. read more

I went there with my team for dinner, service was quick and amazing. Every one enjoyed their drinks and steak but unfortunately I decided to order lobster tails and it was a mistake! First it was the smallest lobster tails I have ever seen. And it wasn't seasoned good. Overall it was okay experience. read more

My mom chose Outback for her birthday celebration. I had not been to an Outback in years; and sometimes I guess I come back to remind myself why I am ok going other places. Walking in we were warmly greeted and welcomed to what was a typical Outback Steakhouse. The ambiance was pleasant enough and the place was really clean. My food is what was just ok to me. W Bahrain a Bloomin' Onion, I will say that was good. I then had French Onion soup, and it was just ok. My main course was the Shrimp on the Barbi, and it was a bit salty. The best part of the meal was a Chocolate Thunder something, which was essentially a brownie (with nuts, btw in case you hav allergies) made into a hot fudge sundae. The food was really good...Caesar salad actually better than the over-dressed mess we got at Pappas Bros. Came to Outback because we got a gift card. Only reason. We were lucky enough to have Leo G. as our server. We have been back 3 times since, just to be served by him. Genuinely, the best server we've ever had. He made sure the service was fast, the food was fresh, and made great recs. Gave us a great table and it was lovely environment. I'd like to start by saying my server (Leo) was FANTASTIC! However, I sent my steak back for being overcooked and having an odd flap in the middle. The manager proceeded to bring THE SAME steak back from being cooked even more. I mentioned the odd flap and he stated "it dosnt matter how it looks on the outside. Just cut into it" several times. I ended up sending it back again. I got a new steak.. this one had a cut in it. The steak was CLEARLY well done. I just settled and ate it. I will never be back to this location. This was absolutely unacceptable for a $101 bill when all we got was 2 steaks, 2 sodas and spinach dip and HORRIBLE management/cooks. Before we even walked in, the host was opening the door and greeting us with a smile; he was friendly and professional. Good food! We dined-in, had the sirloin, wedge salad and coconut shrimp and of course their delicious bread. Also had a to go order from their to-go special menu. Never again !! My wife ordered rare prime rib $32. They brought her the end cut which was not rare and totally crusted with way too much rub! I ordered the ribeye $32 med-rare. It came med-well at best and it had the same rub on both sides of the steak, like it was blackened. I complained to the mgr and he comped the meal. The table behind us also sent their food back. It was 6:00 and we were 1 of 3 tables on that side of the restaurant. Service wasn't great but I've had worse. No more Outback for me !!! read more

I'm starting to not like this chain. The only thing this place has going for it, is the onion flower. Aside from that, the steak I got had a stupid amount of silverskin on it. They should trim this up before they cook and give them to customers. The service is ok, its relaxing here. I just don't like the food lately. Do not order from this place on DoorDash. I ordered food, in 3 minutes I ordered dessert. The driver said the restaurant told him the two orders were in a bag... the bag weighed less than a pound as it only had the "bread" in the bag. I called the restaurant and the lady said the driver left the food and she can not do anything about it, "there is only 2 people working the entire restaurant". Great steak selections and nice portions. I also got the baked potato soup which was good. Their wheat bread and the slightly sweet butter that accompanies it are the bomb! Ronnie at the Outback Steakhouse in Addison made our boys night! They won their first baseball championship and wanted a steak dinner... So at 8:30pm we strolled into the Addison Outback smelling like sunscreen and looking like we'd been at the ball field for days. Our party of 12 was warmly greeted and promptly seated. The manager, Ronnie, came over and asked if the boys just played baseball and they said they WON a tournament. Ronnie sat down next to them and asked to see their rings and wanted to know all about it! He watched some of their hitting videos and truly put a smile on all our faces. He went above and beyond and brought out free appetizers and when we left, our server, Jessica (who was equally amazing!!!) gave the boys a congratulatory card with notes from the whole staff!!! Who knew we'd find such a fun and memorable experience at Outback Steakhouse?!?! Please give it a try... lord knows I didn't want to go there but I'm so glad the boys demand for championship steaks brought me in! We'll be back to the Addison Outback. read more

Ordered food to go after flying it at 8pm, on the way to my hotel. I got the 6oz filet, medium rare, with baked potato and the blue cheese pecan salad. The filet was more on the rare side but I was famished and ate all but the middle. It was seasoned well but just a little undercooked. The blue cheese salad was bomb but I did ask for extra dressing and didn't get it, but wasn't going back so I just took out some lettuce. Cobb salad had minuscule pieces of boiled egg in it so tiny i thought they forgot the boiled egg and that it was shredded cheese. The lettuce leaves wilted insanely quick, i left salad in container in my fridge during the day and by the same night many of the leaves were brown. The chicken breast I asked for to go in my salad was super tiny too compared to the size of the salad. I also ordered chicken on the Barbie. The chicken and broccoli were super juicy, although it said the chicken came with bbq sauce and there was none to be found. The crock of Tasmanian chili and fresh mini loaf of bread were insanely delicious, however I expected the "crock" to be larger. It was my 51st birthday and I really wasn't feeling it so my family finally talked me into going to eat steak. We decided on Outback which I haven't been to in forever. We arrived and were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant was very clean and the placement of the tables and booths were great. Our waiter was in training but he was very attentive and accommodating.We ordered the bloomin onion because who in their right mind goes to Outback and not order it? Next I ordered the blueberry lavender lemonade and it was amazing!! I ordered the Alice Springs Chicken (my fav) and sirloin and it was just like I remembered and not to mention I filled up on bread and butter. We had one person in our party who wasn't pleased with their order and I must say our waiter suggested another entree and made sure it was cooked to her liking AND stayed at our table until she took her first bite and approved. We came in late night Sunday close to closing time, and we were still very welcomed, I enjoyed my dinner so much.. even the peach cocktail I had was delicious. We are Outback people. We love the Bloomin' Onion, the bottomless black bread basket and the endless refills. For the main meal, we typically get the Queensland Chicken & Shrimp, some type of steak and a lobster tail. The ribs are also pretty good. We have found service here to be excellent and the food is definitely in the upper tier for Outbacks nationwide. During the quarantine, we've also ordered curbside pickup a few times and everything has been solid except for the deep fried Bloomin Onion which tends to get soggy after 15 minutes (by the time we're home). We recommend Outback over similar places like Salt Grass and Texas Roadhouse. Good eating to you! read more
