The oysters stay tender and juicy never rubbery or overcooked and they're served with lightly toasted French bread and fresh lemon wedges that pair perfectly with all that buttery, seasoned goodness. The crawfish is another standout. The flavor reminds me a lot of the crawfish you'd find at the Blue Store in New Orleans iykyk. You can tell they're using more than just Old Bay because the seasoning has depth and a great balance of spices without being overwhelming. Even better, the crawfish are soaked in the seasoning instead of just being sprinkled on the shells, so every bite is flavorful from the inside out. My only disappointment this visit was the catfish po'boy. Unfortunately, the fish tasted more like whiting than catfish. While it was fried well and dressed perfectly with all the right toppings, the fish itself had a very basic flavor that mostly tasted like seasoned cornmeal.
