So I called to book an appointment for my first travel trailer that needed some fixing. I asked…read morethem to fix the leak behind the toilet and to replace the faucet because it was leaking all over. When I arrived bill set me up. I backed up my trailer and left it with a mechanic. I went and got lunch at Carl's Jr. 20-30 goes by and I came back and talked to the mechanic. He pointed out some things that was wrong with the trailer. The leak I mention and needing a new faucet. He said they should be easy fixes and replace. He also told me about my city water having a leak that might need to be replaced. I said ok I have to get back to work and ask him how much. He said he doesn't handle the billing bill does. I dropped it on a Friday and got a call on Tuesday. He sent me the invoice. They charge me 1 hour to check the faucet that I already told them need to be replaced. And .5 hour at checking the toilet. I was already aware of and he only spent 20-30 mins too and got all the info he needed already but they want to charge me 199 an hour at 1.5 hours..... I asked if those will be included in when they repair / replace it. They said no they another 2 hour of work... I felt ripped off and scammed.

They always ask if we need a different color or size and they check in the back. They have so much inventory that we usually end up being able to get what we need from the back when they look. The first half of day one was on understanding theory of recovery options; the afternoon was advanced tire repair and then out in the field doing hands on stuck situations. Day two was all in the field understanding winch applications and applying them to our vehicles. It's one thing to read about or watch a video on winch recovery, but actually doing it yourself and seeing the winch in action is some much better for understanding and retention of the skills.
