I had to use tin snips to cut one of them when I had my bike locked to a tree. Took less than 10 seconds to cut, thankfully in my situation. The company is not responsive to criticism and basically told me I was lying and did not want me to send them the lock that did not open as proof. They were not willing to make things right.

I have three OttoLocks and it's the only lock I use on my rides…read more Meant for short stay security it's the perfect coffee lock. Where I can go inside quickly and come back out. I won't ever leave my bikes unattended for long periods of time with any type of lock. No lock is unbreakable but this lock cannot be cut easily. Be smart when you lock your bikes. OttoLock is that extra hoop thieves would have to jump through that they may not be ready for. Lock your bikes in a public area as well. If you can lock your bike within sight as well. If you want to break through this lock you will have to be loud and it will take you longer than usual. A friend of mine had a u lock and the OttoLock locking his bike. They cut through the ulock but left the bike after the OttoLock was taking too long to cut. They failed to cut through. A thief may only spend a few minutes trying to take the bike. Any longer and they risk too much. The OttoLock does that. It will deter a thief. It's small and easily carried with you which I love. The rubber straps used to hold the lock on the bike will not scratch your bikes paint job as well. The lock has a rubber coating as well to keep your paint surface clean.

They fixed some damage caused by other contractors to the exterior vent cover and piping and I'm not sure our dryer has ever worked so well. Their bid was not the lowest, but during the time spent preparing the bid they really convinced me that they knew what they were doing and would not cut any corners. From what I can tell they did not. I would heartily recommend them for any dryer venting needs you might have and suspect they do as fine a job with HVAC ducting as well.

I found Bikes N More online and their ad said they could match up anyone to a bike. So I went in and told Rick what I needed a bike for and he said "You need this one." He was so right! I rode my bike 13.5 miles the day I picked it up after only riding 3 on other bikes. Rick is the nicest most helpful person and he knows everything about bikes- the highest praise I can give is that he is trustworthy (and that is something I rarely say). The store is not big but it has everything you need. The staff is so crazy about bikes and biking they get you all pumped up about it, plus they are so encouraging and supportive. If you are thinking about getting a bike this is the place to go. read more

Today was my second visit to Bikes N More. The first time my bike chain had a torqued link and they fixed it enough so I could finish my ride, since my bike was scheduled for a at another bike shop. They were friendly, professional, and didn't try to upsell the repair work. This time, I was riding out in Molalla and got a flat and then my replacement tube was also flat. A nice man rode me into town and the staff at Bikes N More treated me as great as the first time! I think I need to make sure I do my rides out in Canby area on Saturdays! Lakeside doesn't keep all of Giant's line in stock, but they can order them in for you. Based on reading / watching many glowing reviews for the Defy endurance bikes, I had Mark order up a 2025 Advanced 0 model for me -- comes with carbon frame, components, and wheels, as well as Shimano 105 Di2 electronic shifting drivetrain (along with 11-36t cassette for hill climbing). Mark was amazing throughout my purchase experience. He installed my pedals for me, adjusted the seat height and tire pressure, and showed me how to use the electronic shifting. After a quick test ride around the area, there seemed to be some front derailleur noise, so they made some quick adjustments to keep the chain from rubbing. I was able to take the Defy for a 20 mile ride last night, and I'm really enjoying the smooth ride of the carbon frame (coming from an aluminum frame gravel bike with road tires). I plan to bring it to Lakeside every off-season for a tune-up, and also hope to have an actual bike fit done, too. In this age of ordering everything online, I highly recommend purchasing a bike from an actual brick & mortar store with some customer service. I'm very happy with my Lakeside experience!

On a bike tour, I found Universal and brought my squealing brakes to Billy. Not only were the brake pads wrong, the brakes should have been replaced because the wheels are wider. As Billy investigated further, he found the mechanic had also snapped the front brake cable fixing bolt. Had this not been found I could have experienced a catastrophic brake failure. Universal had the brakes I needed in stock, Billy sent me to lunch and replaced the brakes and pads within the hour so that I could continue the tour safely and with the correct brake system.
