Koji is a top notch restaurant....do I dare say even the best overall in Omaha? Once you have a…read moremeal here, you won't be able to stop thinking about it. The Fukui cocktail (cucumber vodka flavors) is a great pairing with the menu items. One thing I really enjoy about this restaurant is that you order as you go, so you never leave hungry and it's a safe bet that you won't over order. The wait staff will frequently check in on you and see if you need to order more. The Bunzai Buns (runza inspired) and Gyoza are my favorite options outside of the sushi. The Gyoza are fresh, chewy, and are paired with a very flavorful sauce. Our favorite Nigiri is the Sea Bream And you truly can't go wrong with any of the rolls. Don't forget to end your meal with the cereal milk ice cream! Reservations are highly recommended as time slots will fill up fast. The atmosphere is well thought through - I enjoy how it is fairly dark in there, but the lights are shining so they are focused on the food. Can't recommend this restaurant enough!

We also got the Hama toast and hotate, very fresh. For maki rolls we got the go-San, stinger and royale. None stuck out more than the other. Our server was very kind and knowledgeable and offered a great amount of suggestions while navigating the menu. The restaurant is small and cozy with very cool woodwork throughout. I got the cocktail that was similar to a Paloma, very delicious.

They have lots of ramen options on the menu, all customizable spice level and the option to add extra ingredients. There was a little wait time, but it was a Friday night around 7pm, so not surprising. The service was awesome! Our server answered all our questions and was quick with orders and refills on drinks. We started with Thai Tea and it was delicious! I love boba and the sweetness of the tea was a perfect combination with the pearls. For my main entree I had the Spicy Hokkaido spice level 3 and it was perfect! I wanted spicy, but not so hot I was hurting. 3 was great for me. They use chili oil, gochujang, and habanero for level 3 so it packs a punch! The overall flavor was delicious with a spicy finish to each bite, especially the broth. We ended with a complementary fried oreo which was as awesome as it sounds. The vibe in Hokkaido is very nostalgic with throwback tunes on the radio and lots of cartoon & anime characters incorporated in the decor. It's a really fun spot and we will definitely be back soon!

I could not taste the tea due to the overpowering milk, and the tapioca was somewhat hard and didn't seem cooked properly. The Ramen itself was delicious, however. They have many options for premade bowls and are also very flexible if you want to make your own. You can choose your own broth, meat, toppings, spicy level, etc. The Tonkotsu Shoyu broth tastes rich and flavorful.

They are well staffed and very attentive. Took our orders immediately. Love that they have Coke products here. Kids/wife really enjoyed the Strawberry Daiquiri mocktail. The chef was quite the showman. Our whole family was engaged the whole time. From the onion volcano to shrimp toss, there was never a dull moment. My wife and I shared the Bushido (steak and chicken). With all the sides (salad, soup, shrimp, rice, veggies), it was more than enough food for two. Also enjoyed the gyoza and egg rolls, which were very tasty and great for sharing. Ended the night with the Banzai! For $7 you get humiliated (in a fun way) on your birthday/anniversary...includes a printed photo and slice of delicious cheesecake. Bottom line...this place crushed it and we now have them pegged as our go-to celebratory place!

I love that we all got a little salad and soup with our meals, and the steak and shrimp were delicious of course. We even had enough to make a great lunch the next day. Of course, you don't just go to Kobe for the food (even though it is a full five stars on its own), you also get a wonderful dining experience at the hibachi grill. Our chef was very personable and experienced. He cracked jokes throughout the night, kept everyone's orders well, and got pretty much everyone to catch a shrimp in their mouth!

I have loved this restaurant over the…read moreyears and it has always been a staple for great happy hours, elevated dinners, and go-to's for nights out or even ordering in! First off, the vibes are immaculate. The atmosphere feels like i'm in a bigger city! Second, the most important part, the food and drinks are incredible. Their sushi is great with some fun, unique rolls but their apps are out of this world. I could just eat apps and not even get sushi. I'm obsessed with the itchy salmon, cherry bomb, and yellowtail serrano small plates. I would say those are a must get for me. As for a rolls, you really can't go wrong with anything BUT recently the Amazon roll changed my life. All the cocktails are delicious so again, hard to go wrong! They have a bunch of sake which is always fun to drink when having sushi too. We love visiting during late night or reserve happy hours. They have a lot of great options for discounted apps, rolls, and drinks so you'll definitely find something great on the happy hour menu! Overall, Blue Sushi is one of my top restaurants in Omaha! This is a must try place if you haven't been or are visiting the city!

This has been sitting in my review drafts…read more Stopped in here this afternoon while walking around. Saw that they had a decent Happy Hour offering. Ordered the sunomono and some sushi. Sunomono salad was tasty and was served quickly. Hamachi was soft, tender, and flavorful but a pretty small portion. Possibly because of Happy Hour? Tuna nigiri lacked flavor and were some of the smallest pieces of sushi I've been served at a sushi restaurant. Service was quick. Pretty quiet but it was a weekday in February around 4pm.
