In the one year that Jen and I have been dating, this place has improved and provided many fun days and nights. The Christmas decorations were wonderful and this past weekend they had the Lunar New Year celebration, with many additional pop-up vendors in the street (closed off for pedestrians). We enjoyed walking, talking and exploring all the additional vendors and also the people (and dog) watching was top notch. Judging by the crowd turnout, I would say that this was a successful event, and I hope they add more events like this going forward. Many great restaurants, shops, craft stores and plaza entertainment. Water fountains and train rides for the kids (and some adults too). Whether you come here to dine, shop or just hang out and enjoy the weather with others, this place is a solid choice.

Since I happened to be near this store today, I brought them in for a return. The employee in the picture, named Christina, rolled her eyes at me and said, "There's pet hair on these clothes--we can't accept the return." She had a disgusted expression on her face and even poked at my clothes with her finger. I get that the pet hair is my fault--I can clean it and bring it back another time--but was that kind of attitude really necessary?

They have fur coats, jackets, towards the front and dresses in the middle and shoes in the back right. Or at least it use to be...I haven't ordered in a while but it's CHRISTMAS time and I wanted to walk in and out. I arrived to pick up my online order only to discover they've merged the checkout line with the online order line make it make sense! It's supposed to be convenient not an inconvenience. I stood in line longer than I would have liked 27 min to be exact. Couldn't do anything about it but wait. Then the cashier had to leave the register to go to the back to look for for my order that took an additional 7 minutes because she forgot my name. All together I was in the store 34 min. Just letting you all know if you plan on ordering online you will have to wait like everyone else. I gave them 2 stars for having the items shipped right away.

My girlfriend was having issues with some new shoes she just bought elsewhere and her feet were hurting bad. She was able to find some sandals that gave her relief. When we got to the checkout line, it was about 25-30 customers deep and all registers were open. The only issue was we were on our way to see a movie and needed to leave. A wonderful employee saw the pain my girlfriend's feet were in and overheard that we needed to get the movies. He offered to ring up the one item for us so that we could make our movie on time. If it wasn't for her being in pain and us being in a time crunch, we would have refused, but due to the circumstances we were extremely grateful. This act of kindness made our day and provided us with a fantastic experience at TJ Maxx and even our movie. Great store, great selection, wonderful service.
