If you need to do some alterations on your leather goods or apparel, be warned!! Bought in my brand new leather jacket that I had gotten from Zara where the sleeves were a bit too long on me. When I picked it up I will admit that I should have inspected their work before paying and leaving. When I got home I was shocked at how crooked the sewing was. Expert leather craft work my a$$!! It's like they had an apprentice working on my jacket. There is no fixing it since it's already cut to the length I want. Really upset that they f---- my $$$ leather jacket. They've been crafting leather goods since 2006 but as far as alterations go, they just don't cut it. I brought in my Lucky Brand leather jacket to be worked on but when I picked it up I was really surprised by their work. Their line work wasn't up to par for me and I've attached my pictures so can see what I'm talking about. I'm not sure if they use a specialized machine or a hand sewing method but either way I'm really disappointed with the work. They are quick to respond to messages but it's takes awhile for them to get back to you with the status of your item and I'm talking about days without any kind of communication. I'm sure they are very good at what they specialize in but that wasn't my case. Lucky we have this forum to let you peeps know to Beware! They will Fug up your Shhh! Fast response to my yelp inquiry for a custom double layer bison belt for my son. They expedited it and overnighted the belt for a Christmas delivery. Unfortunately the post office lost it Christmas Eve. Grommet took the delivery info to file a claim and replaced the missing belt. Honestly, I'm not sure how this place stays in business. I called during business hours and had to leave a voice message. It took 4 full days for me to get a call back, and they left me a voice message asking me to email some pictures of a needed repair. I did so and now it's been 4 full days with no answer back yet. At this point, I don't want to do business with them because I don't know if they can finish a repair in a timely manner. I don't have any reason to think otherwise. read more

Always quality, always fantastic work! They stand behind their work and product and explain everything thoroughly. I have a tool roll for 24 carving gouges from them. Everything fits neatly, snuggly and securely, with great leather flaps over the blades so I won't be cut by my tools by just reaching into my tool. So, I received an apology from Allen (his spelling, not my original "Alan"), explaining the delay. I delivered four passport wallets, all to be monogrammed, one with a zipper repair. The workmanship was quite good on delivery. But apparently one was spoiled in the initial monogram attempt. At his expense, Allen replaced that wallet at a cost seven times greater than what I was charged. He lost a lot of money on the overall transaction. This is a very honorable place. read more
