It's SO hard to know which line is open, there's so much waiting because they ring everything up by hand and enter in codes, and while the staff is super helpful and kind, it seems like the setup is sabotaging sales. I've seen people put stuff down and leave without buying, and I almost did that but really needed the item. Please get more cashiers or update your system to something more modern to move the line faster. Bright side, super fun to just walk thru and get your steps in on a hot summer day.

In general the prices here are decent and average compared to other craft stores. They don't offer coupons anymore. Which is a little disappointing but they do have good sales going on. The guy who came to cut my fabric had a HORRIBLE attitude, as if I had been squealing for someone to cut my fabric. I had all my fabric rolls in hand AND I knew exactly how much I wanted of each fabric. I was prepared and ready but he was so upset and I don't understand why. He kept sighing and huffing and puffing his chest like he was being held hostage. Once he finished cutting the fabric he folded it scanned the paper and THREW the fabric on the table instead of politely handing it to me or even pushing it over for me to grab. I drove from quite a distance. I paid NINE dollars to park my car. I paid extra to be an early bird…read morebut the promised "fun things" while we waited was having vendors stuff their flyers and coupons in my hands. This is in addition to the many pages of "coupons" I had to print out from home, using my expensive toner ink. Here's a tip, vendors: don't do that to people. We don't like having to rummage for coupons we printed out because you won't simply give us your best deal at checkout. It took 45 minutes to get into the hall. The convention hall is DARK so all the vendors have to use additional lighting. There were long lines to check out at each booth, a 10 minute wait in line for coffee (one cashier), lines for everything. If you're looking for cheap closeouts or want to pick up discontinued product and have loads of unlimited time to rummage, then this might be great. But while the class I took was well run, it was expensive and of course, had too many time-consuming steps and no pre-cut paper so we had "finish it at home." Here's another tip, presenters: if your company doesn't have coordinating embellishments from your line, why not use some from another company? It might cost more but these classes are costly! And the make and takes? After the long waits everywhere, everyone's in a rush so I was unsure about doing a $3 one at K Kreations. When I explained to the woman who was helping me that I didn't think I'd be able to do it, that it looked too time-consuming, she assured me it wouldn't. Another booth worker overheard me and actually remarked to a customer--while I was sitting there--that I "didn't want to do the project...it was taking too long." So I said, "you shouldn't talk about people when they're right there. I can HEAR you." Stunned, she apologized. Really? You insult someone and apologize because you got caught doing it? It's not my fault your "make and take" is a half hour project involving tweezers and stickers the size--literally--of a pin head. I mean seriously, who designs a make and take that you actually can't take? By then, I'd had enough. I raced through the rest of the expo and believe me, I won't be back. Not worth the drive, not worth the hassle, not worth the rudeness. If the organizers had an ounce of sense, they'd realize that the people spending the most money are not the people pawing through the dollar stash. It's the people who have the least amount of time to squander, the ones who--like me--won't be returning.

The store should properly close at the time stated and not rush any customers to leave. I think it was very rude since we came in and they told us right away to leave because they were supposedly closed when they shouldnt close the doors until exactly 8pm. They should also have a better tone with customers. This incident made me feel very unwelcomed. I hope the management will address this issue to ensure future customers are treated with more courtesy.
