I have given this Michaels location multiple chances, but I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning. The store is consistently dirty, unorganized, and in complete disarray. Shelves are messy, many are empty, and boxes with items are frequently left on the floor as if restocking was abandoned midway. Price tags are often missing. I asked a dazed looking employee if they carried fringe and rickrack. She told me they did not. As I made my way to the register, I found an aisle stocked with exactly those items. Employees are never in sight when customers need assistance and when you do find one they are unfriendly and do not even acknowledge you or say hello when passing. This store feels neglected and on the brink of closing its doors for good. The last time I visited, I nearly stepped on a large roach slowly strolling down the aisle (see pic). I did notify a worker about this and they stated it was common and not concerned with doing anything about it. I will not be returning nor would I recommend this place to anyone. read more

Hands down awful experience. Went in for gift basket stuff. I'm not familiar with Michaels as it is and this made it extra difficult as the aisles weren't labeled well and the glue aisle was literally empty. There were no employees to be found to ask for assistance so I spent an hour roaming looking for everything I needed. When i finally get to the register I see a single employee PLAYING ON HIS PHONE who then had the audacity to tell me I can cash myself out at self check out... because you're so busy doing what exactly Sir??? My eye sight is very bad due to a medical issue so this was not going to be an option so he had to check me out. He did not ask if I had coupons or if I needed any bags (which I did and did not get because I paid before I noticed he just chucked everything in my big basket). IN 100 DEGREE WEATHER I CAN'T LEAVE CELLOPHANE OR CANDLES IN THE CAR NOR CAN I CARRY A BASKET FULL OF CRAP WITH ME EVERYWHERE I GO UNTIL I GO HOME. Had to make a special trip home to drop off my purchase because of his lack of thought. Dude was too pressed about getting back to his phone to serve the customer correctly... shouldn't have a job! read more

(Description of Male Employee: Tall, White, light brown hair, Long Ponytail, goatee, glasses) I went into the store to get some fabric, and I had such a bad experience. Everything was going well up until I needed to get my fabric cut. I found the cutting bar and pressed the button and waited patiently, I know workers can be busy so I wasn't in a rush. The guy who came to cut my fabric had a HORRIBLE attitude, as if I had been squealing for someone to cut my fabric. I had all my fabric rolls in hand AND I knew exactly how much I wanted of each fabric. I was prepared and ready but he was so upset and I don't understand why. He kept sighing and huffing and puffing his chest like he was being held hostage. Once he finished cutting the fabric he folded it scanned the paper and THREW the fabric on the table instead of politely handing it to me or even pushing it over for me to grab. I have no idea what I did, I waited patiently and was prepared and had ZERO questions or concerns, just simply needed my fabric cut. I'm a seamstress who often makes garments for ravers and I am CONSTANTLY buying fabrics but now I refuse to go to this Micheal's on Magnolia. Afraid I'm going to get hassled for simply wanting product. I have always been a costumer for this Micheal's but now I go to the one in Eastvale with better customer service. read more

I am a usual shopper I haven't been here in over 5 years because I've been incarcerated but I am now out I visited this store on June 18th 2025 I was helped by kind young lady named Liz and today is June 23rd 2025 I was also helped by another beautiful young lady named lizzette unless they're both the same girl, anyways I highly recommend this store even though there are other stores around the world that are Michaels arts and crafts but I highly recommend a Riverside on magnolia and Tyler I am going to be coming here very often LOL please shop here. read more

Where do i even start, They need to teach the employees how to cut the fabric, i know how to cut fabric better than them and work the table, first time getting fabric there it was a nice manager that helped she was a sweet heart, second time going getting fabric there the frame employees i guess are in charge of cutting fabric and she was so so rude did not know hot to cut fabric and when i tried to give her advice she looked at me with annoyance yet she almost cut herself, i had no problem till she started giving attitude also took 25 min to cut my fabric not only waiting an additional 15 min for someone to come help us cut the fabric, the name of that employee was Eileen (may be spelled wrong) read more

Zero customer service or problem solving skills by "manager" Lizbeth. Clear system problem with a $5 voucher that she had no discretion, ability, or willingness to solve other than "call the 800 number". All this back and forth and we ultimately solved our own issue - purchase/return/drama - for $5! Really sad - and this is why brick and mortar stores are going away. I love Michael's and the coupons! I come here often. The front cashiers are awesome!! The employees in frames have the worst attitude. They act so bothered by customers, I don't think there are enough staff to do the framing and deal with customers and now cutting fabric. I asked a woman with shoulder length brown hair for assistance and she rolled her eyes and snapped at me. The gentleman is amazing at quality but he seems overworked and grumpy. Maybe get them some help!!!!! It's not a good look for the store and I don't totally blame them for their attitudes if they are being overworked. read more

I usually don't do reviews but I had such great customer service from Aileen (not sure if I am spelling her name correctly). She was so patient with me when I could not make up my mind about which cricut pens to get as they are locked up. First I chose 2 smaller pen sets then she came to ask if I wanted more so I chose another 2 sets. Then I realized I save more money if I were to the bigger sets (as the deal was BOGO 1/2 off). So I saw her again to help me unlock the 2 bigger sets. She never showed her frustration or any attitude toward my indecisiveness. She was very pleasant. PLACE IS SHIT I used to love this place but now it's honestly gotten really bad... I wanted to get some Posca markers for a school project but when I asked for them, the employees said that someone had taken the keys home and that they couldn't open it. How is an employee going to take the keys to a cage with expensive things home???!!! I was honestly really pissed that I couldn't get the markers that I needed. I've been going to this location for as long as I can remember. My daughter is 5 years old and it's like "toys R us " for her. The bathroom always says out of order & after years of being told I can't take my daughter to their restroom.. (kids need to pee every 10 min it seems) .. I feel it's time to say something. 1) it breaks my heart to have my baby girl denied of using a restroom . that is so mean to deny a child (who may have potty issues, you don't know & it's none of your business) 2) to be told to leave the store & go use another businesses restroom is terrible customer service in my opinion. 3) the manager or area director.. someone needs to be held accountable for not having a "functional restroom" for customers. I've had manager positions & my boss would have fired me if I didn't fix an issue like this & it's been years ! I really do purchase quite a lot here, my daughter loves crafts & I love to see her use her imagination with all the cute things here. I just find it extremely offensive to be told to leave all my stuff, and take my daughter to a nearby business to ask to let her use their restroom. And honestly I feel like I'm being lied to , the restrooms probably do work at Michael's here, and that's even more disappointing. I've researched as far as who is the CEO & CFO of Michaels, and I'd hate to bother Mr. Ashley Buchanan with something as petty as this, however like I said , after years of this & as much money as my family spends here .. it needs to be fixed. I'm happy a new Michaels is opening near me.. however I hope the next kid that has to use the restroom at this location isn't lied to & forced to walk to a different business nearby . I was shopping for some particular items to make a anime glass painting which was a gift for my friend and I honestly never go to Michael's so I was lost. The employee named Liza, helped me so much with finding the items I needed and she was super supportive with a great sense of humor. I was embarrassed because I kept asking questions but Liza was more than patient with me. The anime painting went better than I expected and honestly could've not done it without Liza. The worst Michael's location. Came here today and while shopping my fiance asked an associate if he could use the restroom as a PAYING CUSTOMER. He got denied and told he would have to go next door to use the restroom. I wasn't with him and let me just say..... I'm not as nice as he is. I'm reading reviews that say there isn't a working restroom and that it's been out of service. How is that possible?? I'll be reporting that to the better business bureau. Great customer service! The girls at the front greeting the customers coming in are so welcoming and always have a smile. I went there for some rhinestones and I found the section so easy and clean. My daughter that's recently potty trained needed to use the bathroom and I asked an employee if I could use it and she said it was only for staff. Since it was for my daughter she asked her supervisor if it was ok for me to use their bathroom and they said yes! So thankful for them ! Definitely coming back to this location. read more

I've been shopping at this location for almost a decade and every single employee I've ever encountered has been outrageously rude, except for the two that helped me during my most recent visit. During this visit they were swamped. They didn't have enough employees on the floor but there were two young women who took the time to accommodate me, a customer. Airam and Brenda are their names. A few other women were also friendly that day but I didn't get their names. Anyways, the rating is for the store while this review is for the customer service. The customer service I've never experienced at this store. They're awesome. I wanted to extend my deepest gratitude towards Airam and Brenda. They need a pay raise. Michaels always has a great selection of arts, crafts, and florals. I was getting some decor for all fall banquet so I come to Michaels because of their selection, coupons, and sales. However the one down side is that while they have a good selection they are very seasonal, so make sure your e getting your items in the season you need them. Case in point, our banquet theme is fall splendor but because it was after Thanksgiving all the Christmas stuff is out and most fall floral was gone. There were a couple staple pieces but it was either winter or spring pieces. The same with decor so hard to find pumpkins and other holiday pieces. I also made my entire Halloween costume from michaels. I was Alice in Wonderland. Again, shop the season you need, or go right after and get clearance. They do stock some basics lie ribbons, bridal, arts and crafts, and supplies pretty consistent through the year. read more

I just came into Michael's, over here off Mag across from the mall, looking to frame a sign I found at 10K feet on Aspen Mountain. Apparently, it's an odd size and I'll need a custom frame. I want something middle shelf just to give it a step up. And of course, I have a budget. The brunette helping me behind the counter was fantastic. Totally personable, totally knows her business, and really helpful with a lot of attention to detail. Basically listening to me and what I was trying to convey- as a non framer type of guy. I would recommend this Michael's alone, above all the M' stores I've shopped, based solely on how I was treated by this one employee. I'm going backed to have it framed, but I'll make sure she's working. Didn't over think it, she was just efficient and knowledgeable (and pretty too. Which is always a plus). Kudos for this store, because we've all been to the businesses we'll never step foot in again. This isn't one. read more
