I called in yesterday to ask a general question about price matching on their website to what is in store. The person that answered immediately sounded annoyed that I was calling, no greeting at all once she answered and I could hear the frustration in her voice when I asked the question. She then told me, "we close in 30 minutes and those prices end today". I was aware of the closing hours and never once stated I was going in, again I referenced it was just a general question. I was close to the mall in order to make the purchase, but after that interaction I decided just to purchase it online. The whole call felt like I was annoying her. From someone who works in customer service, please do better when you answer calls, there's no need to be rude. You can clearly hear someone's attitude on the phone and unwillingness to help. read more

I ordered online for in-store pick up. The items ordered were supposed to be "buy 2, get 1 free", but when they gave me my bag, there were only the two items I paid for. When I mentioned that they still owed me the free one, the clerk checked with his manager and was told that the only time you get the free one is if you order on line for delivery or shop inside the store.The clerk suggested that I stand in the long line waiting to get in, return the items I had in hand, and then buy new ones. What sense does any of that make? I later called customer service who confirmed that this is not the policy and they should have given me the free item right there. Customer service arranged to have the free one sent to me, but I should not have had to go through all that over 1 bottle of body wash. read more

I have been a loyal customer since Bath & Body Works came out. My wife loves the lotions, and it has become a gift staple for birthdays, Mother's 's day , Valentines Day, and Christmas. Over the years I've spent tens of thousands of dollars at your establishment, and I had been very pleased. Unfortunately,  one day, I had a hiccup at the bath and body store in Riverside,  Ca. The manager, Rosemary, treated me like I was a criminal. She egregiously didn't care about my loyalty to the company as her mannerisms revealed as she shrugged her shoulders that I could go somewhere else! She is a terrible representative of your company  I called customer service, and as a result , I was apologized to and given free merchandise coupons. Today, I went into the store to exchange some lotions that didn't hold there fragrance. I also had 6 other lotions to purchase. Rosemary, in a stoic manner, stated, "I remember you!" I proceeded to explain my return, and she hesitantly picked them, like the bottles were diseased and looked at them up (some were full and some were halfway full). She immediately said that she couldn't take them back, credit them, nor even exchange. Basically,  I was stuck with faulty products that lacked fragrance! Rosemary embarrassed me, and it felt like she was paying me back for calling customer service. I work hard for my money and will not continue to support a business that allows maleficent individuals to represent them. Rosemary is prejudice, and she knows what she is doing because she is very comfortable telling me to go somewhere else. I'm pretty certain that she has done this to other customers of color. Imagine not knowing your own sales... and then being extremely rude when asked about it love the customer service

My first time at this bath and body works and may be last. There was ONE person the register today and the line kept getting longer! They didn't have even bother to call for another cashier until a good 5-10 minutes later even though they were just walking around behind the register! This can definitely improve! There is no need for workers to be behind the counter doing nothing when there is a good 10 people waiting in line to be helped! read more

Beware! Worst BBW location ever!! I had to return items that I purchased online to this store loc but they told me that they can't help me and that I need to speak with the customer service bec the receipt that was sent with the items does not have the prices on each item. I told them that I have the receipt in my email with prices but they insisted that only cs can help‍ I used to work in retail and I know how it works which means their employees in this location including the manager are not well trained!! Today I went for the candle sale the wait time was ridiculous due to COVID but understandable. I waited about an hour and half give or take by the time I reached the front Donna the greeter / security/ best employee ever gave me the best run of the sales and how the process of how everything should go. literally beyond awful. the employees treat everyone like thieves the second you walk into the store. you legitimately cannot even walk around and smell candles without having at least two people staring or following you but god forbid you ask a question. they don't participate in the sales they advertise on their signs and app and if you ask them if a sale is still going on you get pure attitude and eye rolls for asking them anything. one stood in front of a display i was trying to reach and when i said "excuse me, could i get past you really quick?" the girl rolled her eyes, glared at me, and refused to move. i walked out and recommend you all do the same. read more

As of today, hand soaps are on sale at 5 for $15 or 7 for $20, a great bargain versus the regular price of $5.50 each. I was originally going to grab 5 but there were so many wonderful scents available I ended up getting 7. Peach Bellini. Heirloom Pear. Sweet Clementine. Kitchen Lemon. Scarlet Pumpkin. Crimson Plum. Caribbean Escape. I love these hand soaps not just because of their sweet fragrances, but most particularly because of the "tiny scrubbing beads" which give a deep cleansing action. You can actually feel those tiny beads rubbing against your skin. Moreover, it is antibacterial but is gentle on the skin. It's a very refreshing and comfortable hand soap. Try it once and you'll find it hard to go back to those soaps you find in a supermarket or a Target store. Other than hand soaps, there are also numerous selections of hand and body lotions among many other bath and beauty supplies. The store is very neatly organized, just like every other Bath and Body Works that I've been to. The staff has been wonderful, friendly and helpful. I was greeted warmly as I entered the store which made me feel welcomed. Questions were answered knowledgeably. As I was grabbing the soaps from the shelf, an employee promptly offered me a shopping bag. Great store. Wonderful products. Awesome staff. I will certainly revisit and recommend. read more

Ok so I understand people are doing their best during Covid but making we wait for 30 minutes in the parking lot when my order is supposedly ready???? Telling me it's because first she's said 12 calls and then changed it to 20 calls for pickups while I was waiting for my order is ridiculous. Especially when I see all the cars who were waiting and there was only one person and he got there after me and was waiting for the uniform shop. He got his items before I did and came 15 minutes after me. The biggest thing was she only came out with my bag 30 minutes later. Don't tell me my order is ready when obviously it wasn't. On the website it doesn't tell you where you have to park or that you have to call them when you are there. I definitely will not be using this location until this Covid thing is over read more

I'm not a HUGE fan of bath and body works, but the few times I have been in here, the employees have been very helpful but yet not overly in my face or harassing me to buy the latest products. I hate it when I can't comfortably shop around at my leisure. This location is rather large and plenty stocked of it merchandise. It can get a little overcrowded at times, especially with those giant bags they pass out to place your merchandise in but overall a good store. read more

I wanted to take the time to recognize the excellent service provided by Tiffany, an extremely friendly sales associate. My overall experience was heightened because of her enthusiasm for the products and the effort demonstrated in her service. Originally I had only planned to accompany my friend while she shopped but Tiffany quickly approached us and made us feel excited by all the great items on sale. The most important thing in retail or any human experience is authenticity and I really appreciate the great service shown here. I could spend money anywhere but going to a place where I'm genuinely appreciated makes me want to shop there often. The store location was great, clean and had an ample amount of products readily available. The wait wasn't long when it was time to check out. I love this store. I love the candles, bubble bath products, and hand sanitizers. There is great variety in the store. I was disappointed when they discontinued the sea island cotton hand sanitizer, but they have since replaced it with other hand sanitizers I like (crimson plum being one of them). I do find the candles pricey, but the last time I went, they had a scent I could not resist buying. They had a 3 for 10 sale on the mini candles, and while the sales girl was right about the bigger candles being a better deal, what if you get sick of the scent of the bigger candle? so I went with the 3 for 10 mini candle deal and bought three scents I think I'll like a lot. One of them is Mahogany Teakwood...it smells like cologne!! If I still like it after a while I will definitely be buying the big version. I also like that you can sample things before buying. I almost never pass it up when I go into the mall...even if I don't buy anything I just go in to sample stuff. read more
