Recently came by with a friend and had a delightful lunch. The interior of the restaurant was brightly lit and colorful. We ordered the following: boat noodles and a cup of chicken tom yum soup. The flavor for the boat noodles was very concentrated. I don't recommend if you're looking for a light soup. Overall, I would love to come back to try food!
Hidden downtown gem! They don't have any huge signs or painting on the facade, so I definitely missed it just walking by! Tried this place as part of an event, so I'll assume that all the food are things they have in their usual menu. Service was nice and polite, their Pad Thai is among the best I've tried! Solid Pumpkin Curry and the rice dessert was a nice little sweet touch, but not overly sweet. With a modern decor it definitely feels like a fancy dinner. I'll definitely be back for more!
A new location in Fidi! Convenient for me to come with my coworkers. Been an Osha Thai fan for over 10 years now and it's the perfect restaurant to come to with a large group since they have vegetarian and gluten-free options. They are very accommodating. We came for lunch on a Wednesday with a group of 12 and they didn't have enough tables available to push together since all the existing tables were spread out all across the restaurant. They offered us a table of 6, 4, and 2. I fought them because it's rude for the group of 2. We squeezed 7 and 5 into the 6 and 4, much to their dismay but we totally fit with no issues. I didn't want to make a reservation because over a group of 10 means you have to pay a $100 deposit and it looked like there were tables available all the time during weekday lunch. I mean they were available but sadly not combinable. Food came out fast. The crab rangoons were whatever, I was disappinted. I enjoy their pad see ew commonly but tis time I got the pork chop fried rice. It was a good portion. My coworker's crab fried rice also looked very good.

The noodles broke apart on contact and was not fun to eat. The duck was soft and savory though, but eat it quick as the skin got mushy fast. The spring rolls were good, I do like the paper they use but $16 was a bit much. Great place to chitchat with great ambiance. Drink menu leaves much to be desired. Service was nice.
If you're in the city and looking for some delicious Thai food, I would definitely recommend Osha Thai Montgomery. The food was excellent and served fast. The service was good and the waiters are kind. Osha is a great spot to take your family, friends, and coworkers.
I've been here several times. I have to say it's easily one of my favorite spots in the FiDi. Their red curry is my favorite thing. It comes with rice and roti. My next favorite are the chicken skewers with the roti and peanut sauce. It's so cute inside, you wouldn't think you're in the FiDi and the food comes out pretty fast. I like to order on the phone and pick up days I'm working. Absolutely recommend.

I came here with my boyfriend and his family yesterday night for dinner. There were 9 of us, 2 of which were kids. We sat at the table by the window that looks out to the street. The restaurant is beautiful with a very nice aesthetic. We ordered the Osha BBQ Platter with Green Papaya Salad, Crab Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon, and Samosa. When they brought out the platter, I was very surprised at how big it was. The platter, along with the other dishes we ordered, was more than enough food for all of us. I would say the platter is enough to feed at least 4 people. The platter included a variety of meats. They were all seasoned and cooked well. If I had to choose a favorite out of the meats, I would probably say the lamb. Lamb isn't usually my favorite, but the way they cooked it here was very good. It was tender and not overdone. It also didn't have that strong meaty lamb flavor that throws me off sometimes. Now, if I had to choose my favorite out of all the dishes we had, I would say the samosas. I loved the filling - the curry, the mashed potatoes, the carrots, and they were crispy and flaky. It came with a cucumber salad, which included cucumbers in some kind of fish sauce (I think) concoction. This was also very good and went well with the samosas. The staff members were nice and friendly. Service was very good, no complaints. Overall, we had a wonderful dinner here!
NASA asked me to create meals for the space shuttle. Thai chicken was the favorite. I flew in a fake space shuttle, but I have no desire to go into space after seeing the toilet -- Rachael Ray A Tale of Two Thais - Part 2! This is a newer establishment close to my SF office. Have been twice, once with my executive colleagues; once taking my team out for Christmas holiday lunch. The restaurant is loud but not overly loud like some restaurants are. Service is friendly and efficient. I have tried multiple dishes and all were excellent except the apps are just so-so. I'd stick with the entrees with my favorite being the beef volcano. It can be a little pricey for lunch so have someone else pay for it if possible ;-) Drink menu looks good although with two business meals I only had soft drinks. Recommended!!
Trendy atmosphere, Well presented playing and delicious food. Service was friendly but very inefficient; for example I clearly stated my food allergies and asked the server to check with the kitchen. TWICE we were served dishes containing the allergens. TWICE the food had to be made again. It took at least 8 minutes for us to get our beverages even though we were the only guests at that time. FOOD: Crab rangoons and the syrupy spice sweet dipping sauce was my son's favorite. The mango fried shrimp was fabulous. ENTREES: Curry duck leg was my daughter's favorite and served with choice of rice and rice pancakes. The beef and green beans was a nice choice with the fresh green beans slightly caramelized with a side of sticky rice-simple and straightforward. This restaurant is a short walk from high end shops like Neiman's and the Macy's
Really nice, lively casual atmosphere perfect for a business lunch in the FiDi! Service is quite fast, surprisingly given how busy they are. I would recommend making a reservation beforehand. Food is amazing--especially the volcanic beef which is really aromatic.
Wonderful place in the FiDi to have lunch. At first, I didn't know what to order, but when I did it was delicious. Can definitely recommend the BBQ Pork Ribs plate. It comes with side salad and choice of rice. The house dressing is amazing. In the end, it was a lot of food. Desserts were good too. Nice service and the table was just enough room. Would definitely come here again.
Honestly one of the best pad krapow I've ever had. I love the omelette on the rice. I got it to go, but I wish I was able to stay and try more of their foods. Their service was pretty fast and they have a good number of tables in there. read more
The food is delicious and beautifully plated. We came at 1:30pm and didn't know the restaurant closes from 2-5pm. The food came out in about 10 minutes which was speedy. The service was mediocre since they were trying to get as much done in 30 minutes. So, I don't recommend coming at this time. The ambiance is modern with a minimalist elegance. read more
beef pad see ew (8/10): meat and eggs were slightly charred, not too smoky. noodles were cooked perfectly, not too hard or mushy. good flavor without being too dry. pork ribs (6/10): love the papaya salad that came w this, but the marinade was too salty and meat had so much fat. i bit into too many pieces thinking it was meat just for it to be fat. yellow curry (9/10): this curry was DELISH. the potatoes were on the softer side, along with bell peppers (not my fave but i tolerated it). chicken wasn't too dry (though not enough for $25), and the curry itself was flavored just the way i like it. prob my fave curry in the city. it was packed on the thursday evening we went (esp. with it being first thursday) and the server did apologize that it was busy, but it did bother me that i ran out of water by the time our food came out and i didn't get any more, along with not being checked on. service was great when we were being seated and had our food brought to us though! would come back during a less busy time, but i think everything was a little too salty. not my fave thai place but it's decent. read more

Amazing experience for a group! Came here with 11 and they had a big table waiting for us. Good: - So much variety and quality Thai food - I liked the pad Thai and the pad see ew, classic dishes but they were very solid - Tasty papaya salad and crab Rangoon appetizers - Good ambiance nice and quiet for large group - Very nice staff who were were attentive Bad: - Food takes a while to come out but it's worth the wait Overall this was a great place for a private group dining experience read more

I was excited at the thought of Osha Thai opening up a new location on Montgomery, in the heart of the financial district. I thought it would be a good spot for after work happy hour, or even a place for lunch with your work team. While they don't have a happy hour menu yet, they are officially pushing to make it happen! Our group of 4 visited on a Thursday evening to get some beers and appetizers to share. They do have a wine and beer menu. We ordered the chicken satay w/ paratha, crispy spring rolls, spicy tiger shrimp, and the plamuk tod (whole squid calamari). I can say for each dish, it was delicious, served hot, and definitely shareable. The seasonings for all the food was out of this world, and the sauces paired with the food were really good too. (I especially like their satay and "chicken sauce") Our waitress also sent us a plate of the tamarind chicken wings on the house which was a nice treat. I love the spacious interior which feels so relaxing and definitely feels like an elevated dining experience with the wonderful presentation of food and nice glassware. read more

The food was quite yummy here though was a little expensive. But it's a good celebratory meal with friends/coworkers. The ambiance is super nice and modern, feels really elevated and fancy. The plating and presentation was also amazing. My favorite fish was the crispy pork fried rice but we order many dishes and appetizers like the mango shrimp and it was amazing. This is some of the best Thai cuisine I have had in a while! I highly recommend the mango prawns appetizer. The pumpkin curry with rice and the drunken noodles with beef were excellent! Came here for dinner with friends on a Wednesday night. I ordered the crispy pork fried rice. The fried pork belly was delicious and came with a dipping sauce. The egg fried rice was a little soggy and not much flavor. The herbal soup on the side needed some salt but was still refreshing to sip on. Friends enjoyed their dishes as well! read more

One of the better locations if you ask me. Not open on the weekends yet but beer and wine is available. Parking is pretty sparse until after 7pm then there's plenty. Amazingly friendly staff. Spacious and nice space. Puck is the owner and served us himself. Super sweet and courteous. The food is awesome. Highly recommend a visit after your day is over for some solid Thai. We had the sampler and some desserts and everything was so good! The grilled meats were especially good in my book and the sticky rice and mango. read more

Excellent & delicious Thai cuisine in a very nice new Financial District location and great service. We ate lunch with a party of 7 people so that we could try as many dishes as possible. Very conducive to sharing food, family style. Everything we had was very good: samosas, papaya salad, chicken satay, pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, tomyun soup, sautéed green beans, BBQ beef (served in big slabs), mango with sticky black rice, fried bananas with vanilla ice cream. You can choose the meat (chicken, pork, beef, shrimp) or fried tofu for each dish. Generous portions, reasonable prices for quality food. I will keep coming back! read more

The food was absolutely amazing! This is a super cute spot we stopped by before watching a movie, the inside is super beautiful and the ambience is perfect! The service could have been better - we did wait quite a while for our food, and the servers hardly checked on us. Regardless, everyone was friendly, food was great, and I'd come back to try other stuff on the menu! The Crispy Mango Prawn was really light and a great start to our meal. It was spicy and sweet, though my partner and I agreed it may have been a better balance if it was slightly less sweet. The Thai Iced Tea was perfect - it was the right amount of creamy and very flavorful! For dinner, we got the Spicy Basil (I chose Pork for the protein) dish with fried rice and a Beef Pad Se-Ew. I really loved the Spicy Basil fried rice, I couldn't get enough of it! The flavors were well balanced and packed a nice punch, the spice level was adjustable since you are free to add as much sauce as you'd like. I liked that the Pad Se-Ew noodles were light and think the Beef was a solid choice for this dish. read more

My family and I are Thai food aficionados so when we vacation, we always seek out the local Thai places. However Osha Thai was on another level. Ambiance, great service and food combined with value in one of the most expensive places and you've got a winner. And speaking of winner, everyone needs to try their calamari - it was a whole, fresh squid! read more
