I was very impressed with how delicious their bbq is. The prices were very reasonable and the staff (Kim especially) was also friendly. I went here 3 times during my 8 day vacation and I hope to visit again in the future. I remember the seating inside was very small, and I remember Kim telling me this was the only physical location. I tried the baby back ribs, St. Louis ribs, Mac and cheese, and baked beans. The baby back ribs and baked beans were my favorite! The bbq sauce is also tasty. They have merchandise for sale too. Thanks guys for the memorable experience! My only suggestions would be to have a self serve soda fountain, and more locations! read more

All Oscars have good food but @branson our order was made (1 two item special w/side and one single item w/side they made 2-2 items said they were sorry but then charged for the extra item rather than taking it back or giving it for cost of single item since it was their error. It brought the cost equal to that of the two item special with the special including a can of pop. Paid for the meal and started eating but then decided to get a can of pop. They charge $2.11 for a can of Pepsi which then made the single item meal originally ordered into the special (2 items a side and a can of pop) but with the cost being $2.11 more than the special. All or this was due to their error in making the original order. So if you eat there BEWARE and watchful of what might have been an error on their part that will cost you a little more OR could be a more devious ploy to nickel and dime their way to increased profits. read more

Excellent local bbq! We had pork steak, pulled pork sandwich, brisket sandwich and baked beans. All were delicious,especially the pork steak! Sauces were great, too. Fast and friendly service. Dine inside our outside. Get it in the drive thru and take it home. First off the staff was amazing so friendly and helpful!!!! We took our baby back ribs and brisket to go and could not wait to crack open the bags as the aroma was making my mouth water. Oscar's did not disappoint. It is a little off the path, hole in the wall, but well worth the effort to find!!! We got the whole rack baby back ribs and they were absolutely some of the best ribs I have ever tasted. We will be back when we return to Branson!!!! You have to try them! I have to throw this out there. Born and raised in Memphis and I know good BBQ, but this little gem completely exceeded my expectations!! My husband and I had Oscars on our list to try as we always want to support our local mom and pop shops and we will definitely return. The parking lot and establishment is very small, but they conveniently have a drive-through. As you enter the restaurant you can just smell that glorious scent of BBQ Smoke and to the right of the order counter you'll locate the specials of the day. We opted for a rack of baby back ribs which were fall off the bone juicy meatiness and Absolutely beautifully smoked. Next I wanted to try the pulled pork with their spicy sauce and awe Lordy the sauce was peppery, vinegary with a little sweetness. Our sides included the Meaty beans, creamy potato salad and coleslaw. Everything was Excellent and I'm not a big fan of coleslaw, but they have made me a believer. If you're in the mood for Excellent BBQ definitely give this place a try and if you don't I have to say your missing out!! read more
