This menu has the best foods that you would expect in the Orient!!

If you are considering eating here, don't think about it just get in this place! From the time you walk in the door you were greeted with smiling hosts that are extremely accommodating and very friendly! My cousin and I went in for lunch and I will tell you that everything was absolutely beautiful! The food and presentation was incredible and extremely fresh. They have both Chinese and Japanese including sushi, available on their menu and they do not disappoint! I highly recommend you take a test run and then tell all of your friends and family.

Had a good meal today after walking the Island. Small, well run place, Sushi & American Chinese food. Service was good, food was good, price was average. Stumbled upon it & lucky we gave it a try.

Those rolls on the outside and behind are supposed to be three different fishes - taste and look exactly the same.

I really really wanted to have a great evening of sushi however I should have heeded the reviews and traveled into Boston. I was not greeted friendly but instead looked at like "what are you doing here" and that's okay - I know I'm scary! Haha any way the server was extremely nice however she should have told me the prices on the menu were not current because I expected $40 for myself and instead I was over $50 - again not a big deal if the sushi was phenomenal but this was sub par. The sushi maki combo was meant to be three different fishes and the server tried to tell me it was three different fishes but just have a look at the photo. To the guy who said he eats sushi from the east to the west coast and this is the best he's ever eaten - I can only guess it's because you're eating gas station sushi on your way here. Do yourself a favor - make the drive into Boston. Otherwise quiet little restaurant and the Thai food that I didn't try but saw go past looked pretty good.

It's not authentic Japanese, it's an interpretation of Japanese by Chinese workers and Cooks. Also, Chinese service isn't great and the waiter here isn't attentive and a bit too casual for my taste. The food itself is just acceptable, and for the price not great. The atmosphere also still is pretty weak, and the restaurant is small. It's sort of almost like a hole on the wall. On the West Coast, I've eaten at over 30 authentic Japanese restaurants, and for those of you who aren't Japanese restaurant or sushi aficionados... This food is probably fine. If you know we're good, Japanese food is, don't come here and frankly you may need to drive to Boston to get it.

I ordered on a Tuesday and not sure if that's why a fee things were 30% off or if it was because was late in the day (7:30pm) but since got a discount i ordered a fee more items. My husband picked the order up so i cant speak on service. I do know parking is an issue since it doesn't seem to have a lot (if they do, its only 2/3 spots behind) We ordered: Pu Pu platter for 1; small pork lo mein, 1 nine chow, 1 spicy salmon roll and 1 godzilla roll. The order was ready in 15 minutes, i live 3 min away so this was great! The pupu platter had a few things only my husband tried but he liked them all; i tried the crab ragoon and loved it (9/10). The nime chow (5/10)wasn't my favorite; it seed to have some type of lettuce in it and not much taste. The clear sauce wasn't great either; i wonder if they have a different type of peanut sauce. The two sushi rolls i liked; the godzilla was still warm from the tempura batter. I only wish it had less batter on some pieces. (7.5/10) Overall i liked most things and def will order again. Hopefully next time i remember to take pics.

Decent atmosphere (more…read morebistro yearnings than a "joint"), friendly service, and just-okay food if not getting sushi. First visit in a few years: -- Salt and Pepper Wings: Small, fried, seasoned, and unsauced, with jalapeños and such for assistance. Decent tenderness and moistness, but light on flavor without the jalapeño and a little bland despite the name. -- General Tso Wings: One fewer wing, but much larger ones, with a sweet, thick sauce, good crunch, and decent moisture underneath. No heat to counter the sweet, but that's the case for most General Gao or Tso these days. Still very solid. -- Teriyaki Salmon: Lunch special with choice of salad or soup, choice of Rangoons or gyoza, and choice of white or fried rice. The salmon itself was sensible of size, but dry inside and topped with a gloppy sweet sauce that helped the dryness but not the cause. The gyoza were small and most likely frozen. Overall, seems like going to an Olive Garden that happens to be serving Asian cuisine. I've been a few times before, with similar thoughts (and half the coworkers I've gone with agree, and half love it). Pleasant enough, and easy street parking, but I don't see myself rushing back. Maybe sushi is the way to go.

Honestly, even with the high expectations from our first visit, it still holds up as the best meal you can get in Boston. I know Michelin recently passed them over for stars but that feels like a massive oversight on their part because the consistency here is wild. We went with the omakase and the beverage pairings again. Our server mentioned they started measuring the pours now, which is fine by me because last time they were heavy handed! The selection is spot on and actually adds value to the meal rather than just being an afterthought. The vibe inside is great because it lacks that stiff, white tablecloth energy you usually get at this price point. It is lively and loud in a way that feels intentional. The food isn't your traditional purist sushi. They play with flavors and textures that shouldn't work but somehow always do. We actually ended up adding the potato chip nigiri as a supplement because it was a highlight of our first trip and we couldn't stop thinking about it. My only real warning is that at twenty plus courses, it is a massive amount of food. I was struggling to finish the last couple of bites. Definitely skip lunch or just fast for the day so you can actually appreciate the final rounds. It is expensive but not out of the realm of other omakase in Boston and for a special occasion I haven't found anywhere else that competes.

Since we were dining at an off time, there was only one other patron in view. If you search for Salmon on their online menu, you get 47 hits! Service was good, then again we were essentially on our own. The Salmon was good, not the best I've ever had, but tasty. The Fried Rice was also tasty, but very salty. The Scallion Pancakes were crispy and nicely cooked, we really liked these. And the Gyoza was very tasty, but should have been crisper. Overall, a very enjoyable "Linner" and a 4-star dining experience. I would return here if in the area.
