Had a wonderful experience. Very professional. Hands on. While many tailors were scheduling out 2-3 weeks because of prom and wedding season Orlan & his team were able to quickly get my dress ready for a wedding I was in. read more

In recent years, the quality of service has plummeted. Today I picked up my Prada suit that needed both elbows sewn/repaired- BOTH. I left the suit with them for two weeks, and they only repaired one. The woman gaslit me saying I only paid for dry cleaning and to have one elbow repaired. Why would I repair just one?! She was the person who put in the repair order as well. I know I told her both. Earlier this year they charged me for a service and didn't do the work; I had to return with the pants and explain to the man and woman twice what the issue was. I will not return after 16years of patronage. read more

I brought in my favorite pair of jeans for cleaning because I somehow managed to get gray paint on the back of them (I was not painting LOL). I was thrilled to see that they were able to get them back to looking perfect, and for only $7! I've found my expert dry cleaner in the area. read more

Great experience at Orlan's tailoring. I've never had anything tailored before and I decided to get a few pairs of jeans taken in at the waist. I was nervous the stitching would be obvious or the fit would be different than I how I pinned them, but everything turned out perfectly! I think it was priced well too, compared to other options. Got my jeans back just 3 days later! read more

I just picked up my altered dress (hemmed and taken in) from Orlan and had to leave a review, I was so impressed. I've had a lot of trouble finding a friendly, professional, reliable tailor in Boston, but I will be going to Orlan for all of my future tailoring. To start, I did not need an appointment to go and get alterations done. I came in with one person ahead of me and was out within 15 minutes, but I didn't feel rushed. Orlan works quickly and efficiently. I didn't need the dress finished for a few weeks, but he said he could do it sooner. The finished product truly feels like a custom fit. The dress itself was hundreds of dollars and I was nervous about a tailor being careless about the alterations, but I would trust Orlan with any piece of clothing after this! read more

Amazing service, quality, and turnaround time! needed an emergency tailoring for a bridesmaid's dress. After another shop lost my original dress, my only option in a very short amount of time was to buy the most similar dress and have the neckline and sleeves altered to resemble the original style. Photo #1 is the style I needed, Photo #2 is the style I brought in to Orlan's. Photo #3 is a photo of the finished product, and the bride didn't even catch the difference when I showed her! Thank you for being so open minded and creative, and also reasonably priced for the amount of work that needed to be done!! AND it was done in about a week. This shop worked magic for me. MUCHÍSIMAS GRACIAS! read more

Fast completion of tailoring. They turned around the tapering of 2 pants very quickly (far quicker than other tailors). On top of that the prices I felt were affordable (I have limited experience going to tailors though. Lastly, the final product was great and exactly what I wanted read more

Orlan was great. He tailored my bridesmaid dress in less than a week! Highly recommend.

Great skill by all the tailors for incredibly reasonable prices. I'm never in a rush for my tailoring but they always seem to get things done in a reasonable amount of time. No delays. No issues. No problems. read more

Tailored two bridesmaids dresses here - super great work and both were ready on time.

They altered a bridesmaids dress for me perfectly and in great time. Highly recommend. Will definitely be my go to place! Everyone there is really friendly and helpful as well. read more

Excellent service! I brought in a bridesmaids dress that needed a ton of alterations and Orlan's did an AMAZING job! I highly recommend trusting them with your clothes. read more

Orlan is the most reliable place I have found in boston for an alteration. With that said, things are on his time and at the cost he suggests. Sometimes $10. Sometimes $20x Love him and recommend his work, just be forewarned it's on his time and a variable cost. read more

Orlan is super nice, professional and provides excellent service. I have had a bridesmaid's dress altered, a dress dry cleaned and a coat repaired and cleaned. The dress looked impeccable and the dress looked good as new. Just dropped off the coat and have confidence it will look great. The prices are reasonable (more so than area chains) and I love supporting a local business. I would definitely recommend this place for both dry cleaning and tailoring. read more

I paid $85 to have a bridesmaid dress taken up about one inch, and when I went to pick it up, there was a white stain on the front. Luckily, I tried it on while I was there, so I was able to address it with the owner. He insisted that the stain had been there (which is impossible, since I had only briefly tried the dress on out of the box before bringing it to the tailor, and I would have noticed a stain like this if it was on there when I first brought it in). I asked him to remove it, if possible; he did, it wasn't completely dry when he placed it in the sleeve but assured me it would be okay. The next day, I went to put the dress on for the wedding, and the stain was still visible. I texted him a photo of the stain (since he had already communicated with me via text to tell me the dress was ready) and asked for a refund, which he was agreeable to, just told me I would have to come in to get refunded in cash. When I went to get refunded, he aggressively reprimanded me, telling me that it was not fair that I was requesting a refund after he completed the work that was promised; encouraging me to feel guilty for my request. I assured him that $85 was steep to begin with, and to have to have a visible stain on the front of a bridesmaid dress that I trusted him with was thoroughly disappointing and embarrassing. He proceeded to threaten me, telling me that this would come back to haunt me someday; that I would regret asking for a refund, that "I'll end up losing more money for behavior like this because it is the law of life," stuff like that. I was planning to tip him for his services, to thank him for his integrity and for honoring a refund, but after that? No way. When I was walking out, he told me to "remember him" when life comes back to bite me. I hardly ever leave reviews, but I felt compelled to after this display of mistreatment today. read more

Orlan is great! I brought in a suit to be tailored that I wear for work and he did an incredible job. He knew exactly how I wanted it to fit and it came out perfect. The number of comments I have received about how well it fits has made the service worth every penny. I will definitely be returning to have other items worked on. read more

I had to take my suits back twice to redo the same job, and over priced Although you gotta learn manners and customer service read more

Brought my wedding dress here. Fantastic, quick, affordable, and trustworthy. I will return forever.

Tailored my first suit with him to see if he was as good as the Google reviews say he is. I must say he lived up to the great reviews. He is so knowledgeable in tailoring suits. At no point did I feel rushed and he made sure I got to see different alterations so that I made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. I brought four other suits to him and they also came out perfect. I recommend this to anyone who is real picky about the fitment of their suit. read more

Service here is excellent. I came in on a Monday afternoon with a dress that needed some heavy cleaning and a couple of small alterations by Friday morning. The deadline wasn't a problem, but I had to call in the middle of the week for an even earlier pickup, and that request was happily accommodated. I came in early to pick up the dress which wasn't ready yet, and to save me a trip back the owner offered to drop off the dress directly at my house. The dress came back in beautiful condition, better than the day I got it. And even the charges for the alterations and cleaning were all reasonable. I was a customer from hell, and the service I received was amazing. I can't recommend this place enough. Orlan's will get all of my future dry cleaning and alteration business for the foreseeable future. Support this awesome small local business! read more

I don't typically leave reviews, but my tailoring job exceeded my expectations. I got my jeans taken in at the waist, and they look and fit perfectly now! You cannot even tell that they had been tailored. I got them taken in many inches too, which normally tailors cannot do a good job of. Orlan was so kind and helpful. If you are having jean problems, do not hesitate to go to Orlan's!!! read more

Orlan is amazing. I had a very challenging bridesmaid dress that needed major alterations on the top half. He managed to make it fit like a glove. He's also a very sweet and professional. Thanks, Orlan! read more

Orlan does great work at a very reasonable price. Many places in Boston will charge you an arm and a leg just for saying the word "wedding". Not here - Orlan tailored a wedding gown for us at a nominal rate. Not to mention he is a very friendly and personable guy. Will definitely be back here to use the dry cleaning services. read more

I took a dress and a jacket to Orlan a couple weeks ago. The dress needed hemming and the jacket needed a new zipper. His work was impeccable! My dress looks fantastic, I can wear my favorite lulu jacket again, and he was quick in getting my clothes back to me (a week, which I think is fast for hemming and replacing a zipper). I will definitely be back. read more

This place is super convenient and Orlan is jut a really nice guy! He has done alterations for me and dry cleaning. Great service for both!

Orlan is very professional and knowledgeable about alterations. This place is a hidden gem in Dorchester- so much more affordable and nicer than going up the street to Kim Anh who charges you an arm and a leg for the simplest thing. Definitely recommended!! read more

I highly recommend Orlan for the quality of the alterations he has done for me. His work is exceptional. I brought in one of my mom's old frayed jackets from Germany. Orlan went out of his way, spending many EXTRA hours on the restitching, to make the jacket wearable again. Orlan is an amazing skilled tailor. I have always been pleased with the dry cleaning services as well. Lee G. Dorchester/Cambridge read more

Excellent tailor. I bring everything here...dresses, shirts, pants. They even were able to shorten the strap on an expensive bag I brought in. Also, fixed a few pairs of jean shorts that I had tried to DIY. Everything looks professionally done (and I am not easy to please). Fast turnaround and prices are so reasonable. read more

The most dishonest dry cleaners I have ever been to in my life - no wonder they don't have any stars or reviews on yelp. We are new to the area and wanted to give the dry cleaner around the corner a try. I didn't look carefully at the ticket when I picked it up - and it was missing a pair of suit pants. I went back less than 24 hours later and they said they had given me them doubled on a hanger. Yeah right!!!! STAY AWAY! I'm out $600 for a new suit, but you don't have to be. read more

Orlan's shop is quick, efficient, and does high quality work. I have been going there for two years, and it has been a wonderful discovery in my own neighborhood. Not only is the dry cleaning well done, but he is a skilled and careful tailor who knows how to repair all kinds of problems with clothes that you want to keep because they are special to you, even if they are older. He also does alterations on new clothes that don't fit quite right. Orlan himself is a real professional, friendly and congenial toward customers. read more

This guy is the worst dry cleaner I have ever been to. His prices are very high, because he knows he's the only dry cleaner in the area. He is only open from 8:00-6:00, which makes zero sense for a dry cleaners, he needs to be open during some off hours, so people who work for a living can actually make it there before he closes. His service is terrible, I asked him several times not to fold my shirts a certain way, and he continued to do it anyway, and acted confused each time I brought it up. I have gotten shirts back from him that were still stained. Lastly, he's not actually there during the hours he posts. He will often leave during the day, come in late or close early, and leave a sign on the door, or randomly decide to close for a day. For the prices he charges, he should have an assistant or staff to keep the store open. As soon as someone else decides to open a dry cleaner's in the Polish Triangle, this guy is going out of business, he's terrible. My advice would be get in the car and go to Dependable Cleaners in Savin Hill. I much prefer "Mom and Pop" businesses to using a chain, but Orlan's made it impossible for me to continue using them. read more
