In recent years, the quality of service has plummeted. Today I picked up my Prada suit that needed both elbows sewn/repaired- BOTH. I left the suit with them for two weeks, and they only repaired one. The woman gaslit me saying I only paid for dry cleaning and to have one elbow repaired. Why would I repair just one?! She was the person who put in the repair order as well. I know I told her both. Earlier this year they charged me for a service and didn't do the work; I had to return with the pants and explain to the man and woman twice what the issue was. I've had a lot of trouble finding a friendly, professional, reliable tailor in Boston, but I will be going to Orlan for all of my future tailoring. Amazing service, quality, and turnaround time! needed an emergency tailoring for a bridesmaid's dress. After another shop lost my original dress, my only option in a very short amount of time was to buy the most similar dress and have the neckline and sleeves altered to resemble the original style. I paid $85 to have a bridesmaid dress taken up about one inch, and when I went to pick it up, there was a white stain on the front. Luckily, I tried it on while I was there, so I was able to address it with the owner. He insisted that the stain had been there (which is impossible, since I had only briefly tried the dress on out of the box before bringing it to the tailor, and I would have noticed a stain like this if it was on there when I first brought it in). I asked him to remove it, if possible; he did, it wasn't completely dry when he placed it in the sleeve but assured me it would be okay. The next day, I went to put the dress on for the wedding, and the stain was still visible. I texted him a photo of the stain (since he had already communicated with me via text to tell me the dress was ready) and asked for a refund, which he was agreeable to, just told me I would have to come in to get refunded in cash. When I went to get refunded, he aggressively reprimanded me, telling me that it was not fair that I was requesting a refund after he completed the work that was promised; encouraging me to feel guilty for my request. I assured him that $85 was steep to begin with, and to have to have a visible stain on the front of a bridesmaid dress that I trusted him with was thoroughly disappointing and embarrassing. He proceeded to threaten me, telling me that this would come back to haunt me someday; that I would regret asking for a refund, that "I'll end up losing more money for behavior like this because it is the law of life," stuff like that. I was planning to tip him for his services, to thank him for his integrity and for honoring a refund, but after that? No way. When I was walking out, he told me to "remember him" when life comes back to bite me. I hardly ever leave reviews, but I felt compelled to after this display of mistreatment today. read more

Service here is excellent. I came in on a Monday afternoon with a dress that needed some heavy cleaning and a couple of small alterations by Friday morning. The deadline wasn't a problem, but I had to call in the middle of the week for an even earlier pickup, and that request was happily accommodated. I came in early to pick up the dress which wasn't ready yet, and to save me a trip back the owner offered to drop off the dress directly at my house. The dress came back in beautiful condition, better than the day I got it. And even the charges for the alterations and cleaning were all reasonable. The most dishonest dry cleaners I have ever been to in my life - no wonder they don't have any stars or reviews on yelp. We are new to the area and wanted to give the dry cleaner around the corner a try. I didn't look carefully at the ticket when I picked it up - and it was missing a pair of suit pants. I went back less than 24 hours later and they said they had given me them doubled on a hanger. Yeah right!!!! STAY AWAY! I'm out $600 for a new suit, but you don't have to be. read more

This guy is the worst dry cleaner I have ever been to. His prices are very high, because he knows he's the only dry cleaner in the area. He is only open from 8:00-6:00, which makes zero sense for a dry cleaners, he needs to be open during some off hours, so people who work for a living can actually make it there before he closes. His service is terrible, I asked him several times not to fold my shirts a certain way, and he continued to do it anyway, and acted confused each time I brought it up. I have gotten shirts back from him that were still stained. Lastly, he's not actually there during the hours he posts. He will often leave during the day, come in late or close early, and leave a sign on the door, or randomly decide to close for a day. For the prices he charges, he should have an assistant or staff to keep the store open. As soon as someone else decides to open a dry cleaner's in the Polish Triangle, this guy is going out of business, he's terrible. My advice would be get in the car and go to Dependable Cleaners in Savin Hill. I much prefer "Mom and Pop" businesses to using a chain, but Orlan's made it impossible for me to continue using them. read more
