Good and fair pricing, unbelievably good service. Quick turn-around, and these people know…read morediagnostics. They dialed into what had happened to my battery. I had the car serviced out of state, and they just kept putting in new batteries. 34th actually took the time to find out why batteries kept failing, and they fixed it. Their service had always been outstanding.

UPDATE: The new manager called after this review and could not have been nicer. He said he had been there a month and he also admitted that there were issues with the staff at that time of our last visit. He fully apologized for the experience and promised things were different now. I appreciated the gesture and would be very interested in trying this shop out again to confirm. Long story. Brought the car in for a creaking noise. Assumed it was the suspension. The car was from a salt province in Canada so we've had problems with it before. They agreed with the issue and replaced part of the suspension. They said the other half was too corroded to fix. Drove it for a couple days and the noise came back. Called in and Dylan said to listen to it for a week then bring it back. Listened to it for a week, then called again. Kai said it was a new unrelated issue and we needed to bring it in. Brought it in. They came back and said it wasn't the suspension that was making that noise. It was the engine mount. That it would fail immeniently and it was a danger to drive. They said the noise had stopped momentarily because they had "oiled the joint". They wanted an addiitional $1400.. I asked about the suspension and they said there was no chance it was that. I refused service, collected the car, and took it to the Mazda dealership. Mazda looked it over and said the suspension hadn't been tightened properly. Engine mount was fine. Called 34th street to tell them and they told me I was wrong. That was almost a year ago. Car is fine. No issues with the engine mount. No noise since Mazda tightened somethings. Called 34th let them know. They called me a liar. They'd always been pushy about extra maintenance, but usually backed down when i said no. This was the first time they drew a line in the sand like that.

Just recently, I had a performance suspension/steering upgrade on my sports car, and the company that sells the package sent some parts that were not compatible. They worked with the retailer to get the right parts, and made the necessary modifications for the system to fit perfectly. Above and beyond service, as always.

He just charged me $820 to replace a set of trailing arms and 2 bushings. The most accesible ones. I know they were rusty, but wow! How much for the new guy? But that's not the worst of it. NOT including parts, and after all the parts and bolts had been replaced, he charged me $471 for an alignment. The average rate for an alignment on a Subaru AWD at Seattle dealership is $150. I'm sick to my stomach about being robbed. I wasn't shy about telling him how I felt, and he made excuses that I didn't buy. I believe in their quality, and went there, knowing I'd pay a little more. Little did I know... As I told him, they're awfully proud of their work. He asked me not to come back, as if I would, after such an egregious fleecing. Go here if you want to pay 3-4 times market rate.
