If you're looking for a particular Volvo, don't expect them to help you over the phone, via email or anything. Tried the above mentioned forms of communication and like a cable company, expect a reply somewhere between the business hours of 10AM to never at all. 2. When a Ford dealership (Bill Pierre) down the street is doing more to help you find a used Volvo S60 T6 AWD car than this Bob Byers Volvo dealership, that's pathetic. 3. You get this vibe from the sales staff that either they hate their job and/or just don't care if they make a sale or not. I went to the Lake City site very enthusiastic and arriving there, it felt as if their idea of a greeting is similar to being at a funeral; no humor and you're hoping that it'll all come to an end someday. 4. Is everything here sold? Every time I've been there, I usually get the "that car is sold" or "I have a couple coming in to test drive this car..." Guess what I get to test drive? Nothing. Overall, there are better car dealerships that'll help you find the right Volvo for you and you should go this route because this business want your patronage. You email or leave a voicemail about a car and won't hear anything back from it or just one phone call. Nobody is being proactive and working hard for you. I was looking for a new vehicle anyway, it's been a while. My short list included most of the major premium small cars, and the S40 is on my radar. Bob Byers is only three blocks away from where I lived, so after taking the car to the Body Shops for estimates, I dropped by. Notice that I drove in with a damaged, hardly good looking 13 year old car. I was greeted warmly as I walked in, and was soon directed to talk to Cliff, a friendly, well-spoken sales person for Bob Byers. I am a young looking guy and normally got little attention at car dealerships (if not outright rudeness). Cliff listened to my specific requirements and began showing me the ones that may match them in their stock. I specifically told him that I was not going to purchase right away, and it was my first day of looking. He explained, in good detail, the differences between the three S40s in the lot for me, and I settled on one of them. As I sat inside, he offered to let me take it for a spin, knowing full well that I wasn't going to buy yesterday. And we did. He took me on the longest test drive I have ever been in (I have been in a lot of test drives, for other reasons I can't elaborate now). We went through curves and freeway, and I got a very good impression of the car. No pressure at all. Cliff proceeded to explain more about the features of the car to me with the understanding that I am an engineer and I don't need much "marketing talk". It was very refreshing, no nonsense, just facts. And was he full of facts about that car. As we returned to the dealership, he showed me the Certification (this car was a certified used) and the Carfax report on the car. Again, knowing full well I wasn't buying then. No pressure. "Take your time and try things out, we'll be here if you decide on the S40". I was very pleased with the experience, and I would rank it as one of the best car shopping experience I have ever had. I still have not decided what to get (well, it's only yesterday), but this experience has certainly raised the bar for what I expect now from a car dealer.

Didn't matter if it was undercarriage or exhaust system or window problems - your mechanics could handle it. We've always been happy with the work we had done - and when it was done it was done RIGHT ... didn't have to go back for 'tweaks' or more work. Mike - at the desk - is a great asset; he always had time to discuss what needed doing, and was great at explaining it to someone whose car-work experience was limited to one oil change I did on the Nova. It's a GREAT place to take a vehicle for service and repair. And they even have an outside fenced area for cars that have to stay for an overnight ... or perhaps a MONTH of overnight :D as my Nova did not too long ago while they searched for and ordered parts, and tried to figure out the 'tricks' my husband had used to do things like have the passenger door on that '64 wagon unlock when the driver's door was unlocked ... a really unusual feature for that car but VERY handy. Bremerton Transmission is where we always took our cars for service and repairs, and will continue to be for me now that my husband is gone. Sure glad we found this place all those years ago!! The process was fine, CJ was our salesman and he was easy to deal with. We paid cash so didn't have any experience with the financing department. A week later the AC quit working, and the check engine light came on. It was running rough and jerking. We took it to our mechanic who said the code indicated a misfiring ignition coil. We were really frustrated and reached out to them. Yes, we knew we had bought a used vehicle and yes we declined the extended warranty. But to have this happen in one week didn't seem right. Jarret from their service department replied and asked us to bring it in. We did, they recharged the AC system and replaced the ignition coil at no charge. So far so good, the AC is working and the truck is running smoothly with no warning lights even after pulling a travel trailer to Ocean Shores and back. So I can recommend this dealer, they stood behind what they sold.

We've taken it twice to him in the past just for him to look it over, answer some questions for us, and drive it a bit so that he can get a feel for it. Both of those times were a courtesy service, which was really nice! Yesterday we took it for him to actually get up on the lifts and figure out *everything* that's wrong with it.... Yikes. We've got a handful of things to do, but it was to be expected. Louis got started on the most pressing issues and had the SUV back to us by the end of the day. Prices are definitely fair and we don't feel the need to go out and get estimates from anybody else. He was honest with us in what fixes need to be made ASAP, and what can wait a little bit. Another bonus - he's got his sweet dog with him at his shop! Be prepared to give lots of pets. Thanks for awesome & honest service, Louis! As you know... We will be back!

He totally hacked my exhast and is no longer cat back to remove exhaust . Not even straight . All cockeyed . Said he had major problems . Yeah , I bet ! This another reason I was hella mad " Who would'nt be " which I didn't even mention to him . He should owe me new down pipes and a redue at his cost at a repudable shop . All it takes is measuring what I had on and replace . I told him same brand just like the lights East peasy . I been doing it for the 30 years i've owned the car . I told them I wanted silver star headlights but apparently after telling them at least twice that didn't happen . So on the splash shield he was telling me he actually keeps a pile of them in case cutomers want them back . WTF ! This tells me he has a problem putting back on the car what he took off .
