Absolutely terrible customer service! I called in asking for a quote for my car multiple times. The first time they said their computers were broken so they would email me a quote later. Never happened. I called a few weeks later asking for the quote again and they said they need my VIN number. I got that and called them back. I spoke to Bob and he was EXTREMELY rude. He said that fixing my car mirror was not a big enough "sale" for him so he didn't even want to deal with sending me a quote for it and doing any paperwork. Told me he would have someone call me back, and I asked if that was actually going to happen, and he said probably not! Extremely unorganized and rude business. I am so surprised they have good reviews on Yelp. I will absolutely not support this business and I recommend you do the same. read more

The owner and office manager lack professionalism and integrity. After failing to repair an oil leak that cost over $1,600. They refused to refund the money or pay to have the repair completed by another mechanic. The BMW was fixed correctly at the dealership which turned out to be at a lower cost. When returning to pick up paperwork, the Office Manager issued unwarranted verbal and physical assaults, while the owner sat 6 feet away observing the entire interaction without saying one word or stopping the behavior initiated by the female Office Manager. Beware! These people are a rip-off, unaccommodating and utterly unprofessional. After posting this review, Brian B, the named owner, made attempts to bully me to remove this post of an honest experience with this business. These guys were great. Although they do on-site detailing, the lighting wasn't good enough in my parking garage so they picked my car up and took it back to their shop. My Prius hasn't looked this good since I bought it. It sparkles inside and out. There is still a bit of smell where my dog got sick on the front seat, but it is dissipating. There is only so much one can do! Roland et al were very friendly, professional and accommodating. I had to go out that evening so I wasn't home to receive the car. Brought my LR Disco II in based on the recommendation of a friend. There was an electrical problem that was blowing several fuses. I was nervous about it being an overly expensive problem. My wife brought in the vehicle and mentioned how courteous Brian was. A few hours later the problem was solved and it was relatively inexpensive (for a Land Rover). They even washed and vacuumed the car. After I picked up my vehicle I noticed that there were still some non-functioning lights and called Brian to let him know. He said to bring it in and they would take care of it. I dropped it off and two hours later the issues were resolved with no charge. Talk about customer service! They could have easily charged me and perhaps damaged a potential future relationship with a customer. However, because it was part of the original problem, the took care of it and now will get future business and recommendations from me. read more

Matt and the repair staff at Complete Automotive illustrate the phrase "Going above and beyond" better than any company I have ever encountered. Though I have never before written a Yelp review, I am compelled -especially after these last few days- to post a very grateful, (and well-deserved!) rave review of this unparalleled service team. I just moved to Seattle recently and when the SMG light in my BMW M-3 flashed on, I called several highly rated repair shops to assure that it was safe to continue driving for another day. Only Matt took the time to discuss the symptoms, and believe it or not- talked me through fixing it over the phone (!) It turned out to be another BMW quirk fixed by opening and closing the hood well; but needless to say I was amazed that he did this over the phone for an as-yet unknown customer. I brought the car in afterwards for some minor checks and was given a loaner car for the day. Even then, I was impressed by the level of professionalism, knowledge and kindness demonstrated by the team; as well as the promptness and fairness of service. Never have I been more impressed and appreciative than yesterday however, when my son's 1999 Audi broke down on the I-20. Although Matt couldn't 'fix it over the phone' this time- he and several others stayed late on Friday evening to check the car out when we arrived with the tow-truck after a very long 105 mile tow. They then proceeded to work after-hours to get the car repaired in order that my son could get back on the road to Portland. Integrity and kindness are rarely the superlatives one thinks of in association with automotive repair, yet they are the ones that describe best the service I have experienced with Complete Automotive. I had been a loyal customer of Complete Automotive for almost 30-years. After the business was sold (or the managing interest was sold to "Sam"), we had to walk away as there was significant degradation in the quality of work, integrity issues, inferior parts, extreme defensiveness, and myriad other issues. Sadly, I know my experience is not unique. After I could not get my problems resolved even after bringing my car back several times, I found a new shop (Car Tenders) who serviced my vehicle and provided confirmation of my concerns (the parts and labor I had paid $3-4,000 a few months earlier at Complete Auto were not the quality parts I was told they were). Given the problems and fees Complete Automotive wanted to charge me a 3rd or 4th time, I decided to try somewhere else. Despite many attempts over the past few years of expressing my concerns, changes did not occur. I also contacted Complete Automotive several times over a few months expressing my dissatisfaction, explaining the situation (parts/labor/integrity issues) and requesting a refund of the cost of the PARTS (but not labor, as a compromise) and my request was first dismissed and later my emails were not answered. It is hard for me to write this type of review given my previous long-standing relationship with Complete Automotive but the new owner (Sam) lacks what it takes to provide quality service, their use of inferior parts at a premium price, an unwillingness to "do what is right for their customers" *and* going elsewhere and having my concerns validated leave me reassured I made the right decision. I assume there will be a defensive response from Complete Automotive. That is fine. The intent here is to warn others that if something doesn't sound right with YOUR experience, you're likely right. For those that have a great experience, I'm happy to hear and maybe - just maybe - management changes have been made at Complete Automotive. read more

I received great communication regarding my car's diagnosis, status of part searching and ordering, time frame of work, etc. My car has been a handful, essentially having a mind of its own. I had previously wasted money on mobile car detailings and figured I should invest money into my car before trying to sell it. It was money well spent! There was mildew in the cabin, mold in the trunk, moss on every corner of the exterior, dark black stains on the hood (no idea what that nonsense was), and every other nastiness you could imagine. I expected it 75% clean. I picked it up that day and it was spotless, smelled great, and without any extra charges for being especially "worse for wear". I took my Mercedes to Brian after Park Place in Bellevue wasted over $2,000 and a month on the car and it left with issues it never had prior, NO TURN Signals!!! Give me a break almost 2K and I got nothing but, a cancelled check and no turn signals, that worked when I took the car in. I had it towed to Complete Automotive and Brian solved the issues that were so small but, hard to pinpoint and Park Place, the rip off artists of the Eastside took that opportunity to send me on my way with the car not in the condition to drive. I highly recommend Brian for everything from buying, selling, repairs, detailing and honest opinions. I am a single woman and Brian respects that fact and has never used that to pull a Park Place on me. I will never buy a car from anyone but Brian nor should you! Worse than your typical car buying experience. Out of state purchase. Had several phone discussions before booking commercial flight to buy car. Only one person there when I arrived. Young man obviously didn't have much experience or authority and the "decision maker" wasn't around so he kept having to call somebody. He actually started driving me to the airport after discussions broke down and then he gets a call and we're turning around. Who does that? What could have been done in 30 minutes took hours. Paid cash. Misled on vehicle damage as both paint and repairs discovered by Benz dealer. They grabbed the cash but apparently wanted a passport to prove residency as my driver's license wasn't enough. Not sure why they couldn't figure out what they needed when I bought the car? Dealership unbelievably inexperienced selling vehicles to out of state buyers. Fortunately used car lots litter the country and I've found better businesses for my car buys. read more

I have had Mike and Lloyd work on multiple cars of mine over the years. Rolls Royce, several Jaguars, and several Mercedes. Who says you cannot find auto mechanics with integrity anymore? These guys are excellent mechanics and great advisers. Several times I brought my car in thinking I was dealing with a total disaster. It would have been easy to tell me the car needed $2000 worth of work and I would have paid it. Instead these guys have fixed these issues very inexpensively. When they tell you something really needs to be repaired you can rest assured it really does. The only bad thing I can say? These guys are so good they are often pretty booked up. What a great buying experience. I spent about 2 months looking for the perfect BMW 3 series with the right colors inside and out with the right options and of course a fair price. When I saw the ad on craigslist, I contacted the dealership by email until we settled on a price that we were both happy with. When I arrived at the dealership, Brian (the owner) greeted us, was very straightforward, knowledgeable, professional and did not pressure me at all. The car looked just like the pictures online and there was nothing hidden from what was listed on the website. The time spent looking at the car and actually driving it took longer than the paperwork itself which is unheard of at dealerships! Paperwork took less than 10 minutes. Brian and Nikki (the office manager) were so nice and I felt that they took the time to get to know us as people and not as a paycheck (which is the way I feel at other dealerships). I had used Dean Transmission which is affiliated with Complete Automotive and got very good service. My 2000 BMW 528 needed an oil change and basic inspection following an 11000 mile trip and just before leaving on another 3000 road trip. Paul and the staff were very courteous, fast, and reviewed all the systems on my car offering advice on what to repair. In some cases, there was a small problem that did not need immediate repair and they told me that. I was impressed that they were not trying to fix everything simply to increase the bill. It has been a month now and the car runs perfectly. I would strongly recommend this shop and its staff. read more

I have used Complete Automotive for service on my "vintage" jaguar for 13 years, and have always been completely satisfied. Recently it breathed its last, and the service dept. was careful to check with me before doing any repairs that would approach the value of the car. They provided me with a loaner even beyond the time that the repairs ceased. I actually purchased a very nice single owner, low mileage car from them that had belonged to a long term client, and so far, am very pleased with it (even though I didn't get it at an extreme bargain basement price, it was fair and they took care of some minor issues at no cost).
