I called at 4:10 and requested to pick it up at 5pm. I showed up at 4:50 and literally stood there with no acknowledgement. Finally, I had to speak up. The food was done at 5:25 with no apology. This level of service is unacceptable and we will cross this place off our list. It's sad to see the direction restaurants are going. During Covid we felt sorry for you and supported you. We over tipped your workers so they could survive. We supported your takeaway so you could make record profits. I absolutely love everything about this place! I've sampled just about all of their protein bowls and teas. This is the Sweet Soy Sesame Steak; my go-to is the Thai Coconut Chicken bowl with forbidden rice and an extra sauce on the side. The forbidden rice is really tasty, and it's packed with protein and fiber. I also love the vegetable base used in the bowls: a broccoli normandy with onions and mushrooms. Each entree is filling, and they reheat well. The staff is so inviting, even as we aren't able to see each other's smiles due to masks. Kat has greeted me for my past two visits. She recommended the forbidden rice option, which I am addicted to. Dawson brought my order out today and made sure I have everything I needed. And Drew stopped by to check on my meal and ensure it met my expectations. Talk about a full-service feel in a fast-casual setting. Not up for a grain? Try the raw veggie bowl with shrimp and feta. Usually worried that they are closing soon I would think the food would be not as fresh but our bowls were delicious still and hot! Nice big wide open space and good food. About the restrooms though... "Ladies" and "Gents"? They're each just a room with a toilet and sink. Put a tampon receptacle in the "gents," change both signs to "restroom" and anyone can choose freely from either facility. I recently stopped by because I had enough points on the app for a free breakfast entree. I ordered the cheat day wrap and it was good but not great. It's a good size breakfast burrito with eggs, cheese, ham, rice, but it's a bit dry without salsa. And while it comes with one salsa, additional 2 ounce salsas are 50 cents, which is a bit silly. It was free for me because of my points but I wouldn't spend $9 on the Cheat Day wrap and 50 cents for additional salsa when you can get breakfast burritos cheaper at other nearby restaurants that are just as good and they will give you all the salsa you want for free. Also the parking here is atrocious no matter what time of day it is. I will probably come back at some point for the protein bowls and chop salads but most likely not the breakfast. read more

Finally had the opportunity to try chop shop! I went to pick up my stuff at 11:30 on a Tuesday and it was decently busy. Both chop and provision had very few tables available; glad I wasn't trying to stay and eat there. Their outdoor seating was very well shaded though with lots of people casually working or socializing, so I look forward to utilizing that space sometime in the future. Affordable and delicious! Visiting a friend in the area and was craving something light and fresh. Saw the positive reviews so we stopped by to grab an early dinner before my flight out. There's both plenty of parking and lots of seating inside and outside. I ordered the Kale Caesar, added chicken and got it in the whole wheat wrap. The whole thing was only $12, which was very reasonable. My friend got a steak sandwich and when we got home, devoured both. The service was great and our food prepared quickly. Yes, the food is delicious... BUT, I placed an order via the Chop Shop app and received notification that my food would be delivered by 10:25am. At 11:01am, I realized my food was not delivered and I never received notification/ confirmation of delivered food. I would have picked it up myself but was not able to do so at the time. I called Chop Shop (5403 N 32nd St) immediately and spoke with a very friendly employee who assisted me. Apparently, the Uber driver picked up the food and cancelled the order, essentially stealing the food. This was a first, as I order from this location regularly with no incidents. The very nice employee offered me the only option her manager provided: re order and get a refund. This is an appropriate option, but I wanted to know if the order could be replaced without having to charge me, again. I spoke with the manager who would not give me her name. Without asking my concern, she got on the phone, explained the only option to me, and wasn't happy that I was asking questions... which was, reiterating what happened and wondering if there was another option so I would not be charged again, how soon would she conduct the refund and how long does it take to be processed? The manager stated it was the busiest time of the day and she cannot answer any further questions for me or process the refund right now. I voiced frustration, as I understand they have a 3rd party delivery service, but I am a customer like everyone else, but not able to be physically at the location. Hence, I ordered delivery from the Chop Shop app. She asked what am I going to decide with the options he gave me and without notice, the manager abruptly placed the call on hold and eventually hung it up. I am left with no food and no refund ($28.01) ... at least in a timely manner, as I had to pay upfront. Again, the salads and sandwiches are tasty, but it's hard to support a business who's manager is unprofessional during peak times at the brick and mortar. Solid restaurant in the Arcadia region. This is the sort of place where you can go to grab lunch if you worked out in the morning and feel like you want to eat out but you don't want to lose your AM gains. When you walk out, you feel satisfied and full, not like you need to take a siesta before the rest of your work day. I had the Thai Coconut Chicken grilled protein bowl with half sweet potato hash, half vegetables. It was delicious - the vegetables were roasted perfectly, and the chopped chicken didn't taste like it had a single piece with gristle or fat. My only complaint was smaller than I expected for the price. I also tried one of the salads with steak thrown on top and the Power Green juice (very refreshing, almost with a lemongrass taste). The salad didn't seem very unique to me; it was the sort of thing I could make at home, so if you want more bang for your buck, I would go for one of the protein bowls or a sandwich. Totally will be back. I'm looking forward to trying more of the protein bowl options! read more

I am very disappointed in chop shop tonight as much as I love this please I am here for days a week getting my jacked up PB&J after the gym sometimes when I come it is inconsistent and it's not always as good as I wish it was or as good as it should be but today I was very disappointed after leaving I ordered three jacked up PB&J's for some friends and I when I came in I saw the girl making about for smoothies One blender not to mention all of my shakes had modifications that were different from one another needless to say when I got my smoothie I did not taste my extra agave or my extra peanut butter that I paid for next time I will be talking to a manager but it's very frustrating not being able to get your drink consistent every time. Anxious to try this place as they have gluten free options. Several coworkers eat here a lot so placed an order through Uber Eats. Waited almost half hour and then noticed that the delivery driver had been waiting for 15 minutes to pick up my order. Reached out to driver, who explained my payment had been reversed. I checked my bank account to find that was not true. He said he didn't have time to do more than call Uber support and that likely my order would be cancelled. I contacted the establishment myself and a man who answered the phone told me some !@#$ story about how their system went down and that I would need to place my order again. By this time it was over half hour since I placed my order (and let me mention this restaurant is maybe 5-7 min from my work) so I was super hungry and very disappointed. I will likely refrain from ordering from this place as they didn't do anything AT ALL to make this right. If your system went down, it's YOUR fault, not UBER EATS or MINE. Poor customer service! I asked for romaine, spinach, arugula, corn, forbidden rice, sweet potato, onion, cucumbers And was told it would be $16 and change when I arrived I questioned the price and was told " we don't really have a build your own salad" um okay, signed up my receipt and did not leave a tip.. took my picked up my $16 salad and left. Well my salad has no rice, no cucumber and is quite small also has kale I did not want... I will def be more cautious next time... so sad So after sleeping on this... we have contacted the manager on duty Ryan G and he graciously refunded me in full stating substitutions could have been made instead of multiple add ons. Glad there's a ChopShop in the area! Not that I go out of my way for ChopShop in the first place, but it's a good place to stop and grab something quick when you want to switch it up a bit. I've only had a few breakfast items at this specific location, but the service has been decently fast and friendly. The place itself is pretty neat. Lots of space inside with a sort of industrial feel to it. A huge patio, perfect for pups when it's not so hot. It's right next to another coffee shop, and there's a cool little courtyard type space in between that as well. In the particular visit that I did snap a picture, I got the open faced sandwich. It was on a bread bowl type shaped "piece" of bread, which I wasn't expecting. All in all, very good though. You've probably already heard of ChopShop if you've been around town in the Phoenix area, so it's nothing to lose your mind over. Exclusively reviewing the acai bowl. There is a designated "Chop Chop" 15 minute parking spot in case you are picking up food (they have a great online ordering system!). I'm very satisfied with the acai bowl! Good portion (albeit I would not be mad if it's a bit bigger), very tasty (since they blend it with apple juice), and topped with delicious, fresh fruits and crunchy coconut flakes.
