CAN NOT RECOMMEND! GO ELSEWHERE! Questionable workmanship, tuning skills, and dishonest. Skyline R33 GTR owner for over 20 years. Questionable Workmanship: Dropped off the car for what ended up being a rebuilt engine, ECU/Flex Fuel conversion and tune on E85. Upon delivery, my wife noticed fuel sprinkling out of a couple of the injectors that were replaced. About an hour, and 4 O rings replaced on the injectors, the fuel leaks were fixed. Went on a test drive, and engine ran erratically. Limped back to shop. Car was out of fuel, had 20PSI fuel pressure, and had vacuum leaks. Added fuel, adjusted the fuel pressure to normal, and fixed leaks, then tried another test drive en route to the gas station. Car ran ok, so I refueled, and drove home..pissed. Time will tell if the rebuild quality is decent. Questionable Tuning Skills: Was told that the car made around 400 WHP after tuning, and they ran out of fuel pump, which was just upgraded to Nismo. I've gotten more power with an inferior setup in the past on 93 octane from other tuners. Was never shown a decent run sheet, let alone have the power band explained to me. Instead was another up-sell attempt to do a twin pump conversion with overpriced parts I easily found online.. At this point I had zero confidence in their business practices, and would rather not have them touch my car ever again. Dishonesty: While one of the "mechanics" was repairing the fuel leaks, I began visually inspecting the engine bay for other issues. I noticed that the boost control solenoid had been deleted, wires cut, and vacuum lines attached in a loop. I asked him where the boost control solenoid was, and he said it had been relocated "on the other side of the engine somewhere". My intelligence was insulted.. Here's the kicker..I also noticed considerable damage to the hood on the top corners and inside, as if the hood had blown up under speed. There were also 2 dents in the roof where the hood struck. During the 2 hours I waited for them to fix their mistakes, they were never forthcoming or honest about the damage, and further insulted my intelligence by hoping I wouldn't notice. SHADY, AND DISHONEST Additional issues found after delivery: Oil leak No A/C No heat. Heater core connections damaged, and bypassed No oil temp gauge reading Wideband sensor and excess wiring stuffed in inner fender well. read more

It's been almost a year since I bought this car. I paid this shop over $12,000 to build my car. Yes I was overcharged for parts and labor. Yes my car took over 6 months to build, and yes after the 6 months and $12k, I picked up a car that had no business being on the road. The car didn't run, it literally turned off on my way home going 70 on the freeway nearly causing me to crash. It turned off every time I came to a stop. Was told to take it back to the shop, on the way back the car overheated and smoked. Did they offer to help? Nope, instead they blamed me for rushing them. Yup, 6 months in the shop and I apparently rushed them. I ended up calling AAA out of pocket to tow the car. What did the truck driver say when he pulled up? "Let me guess, Original auto? It's the third car this month." The next day I was told to pick it up "it's ready" only for the same issues to continue. I could share pics of the car smoking or them dynoing my car and nearly totaling it because they only used one strap. At the end, I wasn't refunded a penny let alone even apologized to. Instead, they blamed me, the car, and pretty much everything under the sun but their shop. If this story isn't messed up enough, I stopped by the shop unannounced one day and saw a new mechanic working on my car, this guy wasn't qualified to change the oil on my car let alone working on fuel lines. I asked the guy where my new timing belt is, his response? It's on Cris's personal 2JZ engine. Yup, they literally stole the new parts they overcharged me for. I'm writing this review to advise others to avoid this auto shop at all costs. My experience was extremely disappointing and demonstrated a significant lack of professionalism and competence. I brought my vehicle in for an engine rebuild but the repair was handled poorly. The work was not only poorly done, but new issues arose immediately after I picked up the car. Last time I checked, when you do an engine rebuild it's supposed to last a significant amount of time, this was sadly not the case. The car continues to leak oil and fuel. The tune was half assed, hoses are loose, and belt torn. When I returned to the shop to address these concerns, they did a temporary fix and sent me on my way. They were unwilling to take responsibility for their mistakes or even attempt to fully correct them. The attitude I encountered was one of arrogance and an unwillingness to listen to a customer's concerns. It was clear that they prioritize pushing vehicles out the door over ensuring the work is done correctly. Ultimately, I had to take my car to another, more reputable shop to have what was supposed to be done in the first place and the new issues caused by this business properly repaired. I wasted a considerable amount of time and a huge amount of money due to their shoddy workmanship and poor customer service. I strongly recommend you save yourself the trouble and find a different, more trustworthy mechanic for your automotive needs. In conclusion for someone who specializes in these types of cars, he doesn't know SHIT about it. read more

I don't know where to begin my Son is a US Marine who before he was stationed purchased his dream car an R32, he had a turbo leak so took it to a shop in San Marcos. Before we knew the cars engine was out of the car because the mechanic recommended he go through the car and replace all hoses and gaskets among other things.The mechanic wasn't making any progress so he had the car towed to another shop, that shop wasn't working on the car either I made several trips to check the progress and none was being made even after thousands of dollars were paid. I came across this shop on IG and decided to talk to them. From the beginning these brothers Pablo and Christian were confident they could get the GTR running again. We had the car towed to the shop along with a pallet of unknown parts. They took a pallet of parts and in a few weeks had the car back together and running. All along they made sure to not only update me but my Son in Japan frequently They accomplished in a few weeks what 3 other shops couldn't in over a year. They have a serious passion for working on these special cars and it shows in their work. I want to thank them and their staff every time I stopped by for updates they all were welcoming and super friendly. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs some work done. If you value your safety, and your money, stay FAR AWAY from Original Auto as possible! I am the owner of a 1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R, and have been facing extensive downtimes ever since I brought my car here 3 years ago. The car has only driven 4,000 miles since their work was done. To this day, it has had various issues that put myself and my family's life at risk. We had complete trust and faith that Original Auto was going to perform good work on a full engine rebuild, but it was quite the opposite really. The entire oil pan was flooded with RTV and gasket maker, and there was NO gasket on the oil or water pump, causing oil and coolant leaks. The car also had a HICAS delete job done by Original Auto, which failed traveling on the highway on December 13th, 2022. This caused the car to veer violently to the right and into the shoulder, almost causing a major accident. Original Auto did a very poor job installing the fuel system, which resulted in a very bad leak that created puddles of gasoline. This is extremely dangerous and unacceptable from a business. I paid this shop over $30,000 and have gotten nothing out of it! These guys are not professionals, and refused to make it right. They will betray your trust, and completely lie to your face. read more

They have dyno tuning, engine building, a body shop, and everything in between. They work on everything from JDM imports to Euros and American muscle. They have a huge amount of experience with Nissan motors from RB's to VQ based cars and I have never seen so many Skylines in one shop! I have had great experiences having my car dyno'd there and mechanical work performed. They recently acquired the body shop in their lot and can genuinely do it all. Went to Pablo at Original Auto Performance for an updated ecutek tune on my R35 GTR today, and I'm very happy with the results. Unlike other tuners, Pablo took the time and patience while GTR was on the dyno. The results were massive, at +73whp +132wtq gains over the previous tune by Bill at delicious tuning. I highly recommend bringing your racecar, project car, or track build to Pablo and the crew. Tuning and labor costs were very reasonable and scheduling with them was extremely easy. I drive a 2015 Nissan 370z. I originally came in to get my test pipes installed and I ended up leaving the shop with GTR injectors, ECUtek tune, and with my car running on e85. All I got to say is that I left a very happy man! Pablo and Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable. Also the rest of their employees were very friendly. The following week we installed Cold Air intakes and Pablo was able to do the install very quickly. Today I had an issue with my coolant reservoir and Chris was able to fix the problem. These guys at this shop are very professional. They found a crack in my block from a previous build from somewhere else that I personally think that would have never been found without the micro camera they used. They did awesome work on my cars and were very helpful with the parts and labor with reasonable pricing. These dudes are like family now. Any problems with any Of my cars they will take care them. Got my 2019 Toyota 86 tuned by ecutek on 91 and e85, has much more power compared to openflashtablet. The egine also feels much smoother. what ever question I had about ectuek i would email them and they always got back to me. Even after we sendover 20 emails back and forward they always replied.
