I would give 6 stars if I could! I've been taking my cars to EVo for almost 20 years now. Kevin always takes care of me. Quality is his top priority, more than anyone else I've ever worked with. He really holds himself and his work to a higher standard -- a real perfectionist. But that's not to say that he demands an arm and a leg for his services. Actually, his prices are extremely reasonable. If anything, I've actually offered to pay a little bit more than he's asked for a couple times For context, I've been driving German sports cars for years (Porsche, BMW, Benz). Kevin would do everything from painting the brake calipers, tinting the windows, color correction, wrapping and PPF. It wasn't until recently where I made the switch to a Bronco where I've been practically living at EVo these past several months. This place is outstanding. Did tons of research and got several quotes for ceramic window tinting for my Tesla Model Y. Kevin was communicative, professional and accommodating. After a month of getting quotes and schedules from several shops only Kevin of EV Autoworks was able to deliver a great price and was able to accommodate my need to get the job done before I drive the car to NY hence our dire need for PPF Initial date of drop off was suppose to be June 1 but Avery was behind/out of stock of the matte finish I needed for the matte car so he instead was able to get Suntek but cutting and shipping would delay it by a few days but Kevin was able to give me a few days heads up about the delay and was alway giving my updates via txt so new date was set for Monday 6/6 then got a txt again that tracking shows delivery of Tuesday 6/7 so I dropped it off in the morning and today 6/8 the car is done The car looks great minus 1 small dirt under the film and there was no headlight, silver accent ( mustache? and side mirror wrap because the wrap was matte and the pre cut for the headlight and mustache woukd make those 2 shinny parts dull/matte but he offered to get gloss cut and done but would have to pay for the gloss when ordered and would do it while I wait when I return from the trip when I come back as for the mirror it just didn't come with the kit from suntek for some reason but he offered to get it don't for free I just need to come back but I wasn't too concerned about all of them so I just asked for a discount which he did $80 :) Overall I'm happy and very satisfied of the service I highly recommend him For the price and time it took I can't complain read more

I came across Kevin's business while shopping around for tint and PPF for my new Tesla MY. I live in Santa Clarita and their shop is in Northridge. I called several local shops, but Kevin's prompt responses to my inquiries had me sold. It says a lot - I was willing to travel for good customer service. The guys here are great. I dealt with Kevin who was friendly, professional, and clearly showed he would care for my car. I dropped my car off to have some lowering springs installed, since that wasn't something I was capable of doing myself. I had called a couple of weeks ago to make an appointment. The price quoted over the phone may not necessarily be the price you'll end up paying as they determine the amount of work you'll actually need, but Kevin is more than fair when it comes to haggling a price. I got a quote for $385 online, $300 over the phone, and he ended up meeting in the middle of the two at $350 which I thought was more than fair, especially since that was still the lowest price I was quoted throughout the valley. They work quick. I dropped it off at 9AM, and it was done by 3:30. Getting same day work of this scale is great. The alignment part required them taking my car to a partner shop, since they don't do that themselves, and my car had accidentally gotten damaged at the alignment shop, but Kevin called me right away to explain this, and the shop took full responsibility and repaired everything at their own expense, and repaired it as a priority which only took an extra day. Other than the problem where it got damaged, which wasn't really EV's fault in any way, I was beyond happy with how well they took care of the car and installed my parts. UPDATE: In response to comment posted by owner, yes I have been looking for a place to care for my car alignment for a bit. However, if I tell you that on the phone shouldn't your response be we don't do alignment here but we take it somewhere else? They only mentioned the "concierge" service after I come pick up my car. Wasn't happy with the service but they held on to my car from 9am to 2pm and I have to pick up my kids from school... not going to argue just need to make it to school on time. The alignment is even worse than before. Significantly pulls to the right. Now, I'm going to have to waste my time to get it fixed again. Original review: Visited EV for a wheel alignment. Not sure who the person I worked with but they made it seem as if they did wheel alignments in house (even stated they invested $50k on the machine). When I come to pick up my car they basically took it offsite to get the wheel alignment... seemed like I got bait and switched. Later, I called to get an estimate from where they took my car and they quoted me $20 less than what EV quoted. So basically I took it to EV to take it to somewhere else and got ripped off in the process. Would have been nice if they were UPFRONT/HONEST about the service THEY provide (which is nothing). I was considering doing some other work here, but I will be going elsewhere. If this is how they run their business, can't imagine what else they lie about. Sadly, I have to write this review since Kevin was unwilling to accept any fault. I was very happy with their work at the beginning, only realizing 2 months what a bad job they had done when problems began happening with my car. In August I paid $2,000 for all the chrome to be blacked out, rims painted black and brake calipers painted red. The 1st major issue I noticed (2 months later) was the tire got so bald on the inner part that the metal rope came out and started flopping around when I drove. When i took my car to the Mercedes dealership to have it checked out they said this kind of wear happened in the last 1-2 months or 1,000 miles. Coincidence? I don't think so. Because the alignment was SO OFF, i was driving around on a tilted tire and it could of exploded at any moment. That is exactly how long ago my tires were taken off to be painted by EVA. When I called Kevin to let him know I had to pay $650 to get a new tire, he said it's my fault for running over a pothole. The 2nd issue began to happen shortly after and is still happening right now. They painted my brake pads along with the brake calipers, causing my 2 rear brakes to squeak all the time. Really? You couldn't take the time to separate the two to paint it properly? So now I either deal with the constant squeaking or I pay again to replace the brake pads. The 3rd issue is that the vinyl that was used to black out the chrome on the door handles and trim has began to come off. It hasn't even been 4 months and it is already peeling off. I have a new car, I have not had any previous problems with it. Definitely not worth the money and constant headache!!! I will never use them again. read more
