Came here once 7-8 years ago to get an intake on my older bmw. Been a loyal customer since. No matter if I'm there for maintenance, custom exhaust work, vinyl wraps, or even just to get a better deal on rims Kevin and Mike are always there to take care me and my families cars. The attention to detail and caring for our cars like their very own is why we always come back!!! Love the EV team!!!!!! read more

Sadly, I have to write this review since Kevin was unwilling to accept any fault. I was very happy with their work at the beginning, only realizing 2 months what a bad job they had done when problems began happening with my car. In August I paid $2,000 for all the chrome to be blacked out, rims painted black and brake calipers painted red. The 1st major issue I noticed (2 months later) was the tire got so bald on the inner part that the metal rope came out and started flopping around when I drove. When i took my car to the Mercedes dealership to have it checked out they said this kind of wear happened in the last 1-2 months or 1,000 miles. Coincidence? I don't think so. Because the alignment was SO OFF, i was driving around on a tilted tire and it could of exploded at any moment. That is exactly how long ago my tires were taken off to be painted by EVA. When I called Kevin to let him know I had to pay $650 to get a new tire, he said it's my fault for running over a pothole. The 2nd issue began to happen shortly after and is still happening right now. They painted my brake pads along with the brake calipers, causing my 2 rear brakes to squeak all the time. Really? You couldn't take the time to separate the two to paint it properly? So now I either deal with the constant squeaking or I pay again to replace the brake pads. The 3rd issue is that the vinyl that was used to black out the chrome on the door handles and trim has began to come off. It hasn't even been 4 months and it is already peeling off. I have a new car, I have not had any previous problems with it. Definitely not worth the money and constant headache!!! I will never use them again. read more

I received quotes from several business around the valley to wrap my Tesla Model X and Kevin's was the most competitive . After hours of helping me decide a color, tons of patience on his part, and a willingness to hear out all my ideas and concerns, Kevin wrapped my car and blacked out my chrome so perfectly. I'm so beyond happy with the end result. Subtle color but loud enough to stand out. It only took a little bit over a week to complete the job. Thank you so much! read more

Kevin definitely knows his stuff. He's more interested in you being happy with his work than anything else. He truly is passionate in what he does. I've taken a few cars and have recommended him to friends. The guy is a class act and does extremely high-quality work read more

I was shopping around to get my Car wrapped and I found Kevin on Yelp. After visiting 6 shops and looking at everyone's work, I made my final decision to go with Kevin. I told him exactly what I wanted and he got the job done. I've had my car wrapped twice. I will post the first car that I had done and the second time after I had a body kit put on. On the first picture I had the car wrapped Satin grey and blacked out everything that was Chrome and painted my calipers yellow. I also had my rims blacked out as well. On the second wrapped I redid it Satin Grey again including the new bumpers and fenders. Thank you again Kevin for everything. read more

I have come to think of mechanics the same way that I think of doctors... skeevy lying opportunists... fortunately however... the same way I grew up with my bedside bible being the "book of prescription drugs" I also grew up redneck. This means that along with a profound LOVE for the sweet aroma of cam2 and burnt rubber... I also know my way around an engine. Just because I am a chick people... doesn't mean you can tell me the sound that my unevenly worn tires are making (a $300-600 fix) is my transmission ($1500k) I am in fact sharper than that! But i I digress... Anywho, this is why I was so ecstatic when a mutual mechanic friend of mine referred me to Kevin. He is polite, honest and helpful. He takes the time to explain what's going on and makes you feel comfortable. :D read more

I'd like to give a quick thanks to Kevin at EV Autoworks. He is a very knowledgeable and stand up guy. I came to him with little to no knowledge on vehicle modifications. He took the time to show and explain the difference between the budget friendly options and the more higher end. High quality work at a reasonable price. He has definitely earned my business and I will continue to come back to him for all my future car needs! read more

Everyone is always looking for an honest mechanic. It's kind of one of those mythical things that one hears everyone talking about but never actually experiences himself. I feel so glad to have finally found the kind of peace of mind that everyone has talked about. My first visit came from other yelp recommendations. My 2008 VW Rabbit had horribly squeaking breaks and I thought I needed new spark plugs / wires as well as an oil change. I asked them to change all of it, left for lunch and received a call an hour later informing me that my plugs and wires were fine, my oil is still clean and the discs were just rusted because of age... break pads were also fine. They offered to resurface the rotors to get the rust off and that ended up being the only work they did. Fixed the squeaking and cost me next to nothing. Anyone else would have replaced everything I asked for and charged me the $400+, but they were honest and only ended up with $40 (or something like that) in business. Naturally, I just returned with my wife's car (2006 VW Beetle Convertible). A tire blew out and it was well overdue for oil. Long story short, they found a used tire with comparable wear to the existing front tire to keep the cost down ($35!!!), changed the oil and informed me that the spark plugs were not in the best shape. I told them to go ahead and change them, since they were about 80% through their life on average and they cut me a pretty hefty discount. Work that VW would have charged about $600 for and I walked away with about 1/3 of that. Fantastic... Their communication is great; I got three calls throughout the day to update on their findings on the tire, options for oil and whether or not I want the plugs and they had the car ready exactly when they told me they would an hour before. If you have a european car, these guys know their stuff and are unbelievably well-priced straight forward about their work. It's almost crazy that they are able to stay in business with such an honest business model. read more

Reached out to a bunch of places since the original place that wrapped our car, though they did a good job, was super far away. Kevin was one of the fastest to get back to us. Had a fair price and was close by to our home. He re-wrapped a part on our car that was scratched up and was done within a few hours. Picked up the car same day. He was very friendly and polite. Definitely recommend! Especially if you live in LA or the valley. read more

All I have to say is Kevin is an honest solid guy. I was shopping around for some vinyl work on my Lexus rcf. All other places were over $500. Searched Yelp and discovered EV autowork. Stopped by and Kevin took a look at my car. He came in around $200 cheaper than everyone else. His work is superb. Kevin thank you. Looking forward to doing future business with you. Kevin is the most honest mechanic you'll ever meet! Great prices, fast and efficient. I've brought my cars in and told him what I thought was the problem. Quite often, they'll figure out the problem was something that was much cheaper than what I was suggesting. Thanks for the honesty Kevin. I have been bringing my cars to European Vision for over 10 years now and he has never failed me. EVA is the best! Once again, Mike and Kevin were awesome. They replaced the leaky vacuum pump and heater hose on my wife's 04 C230K for a mere fraction of what the dealer would charge. You can be rest assured that not only will Mike and Kevin be honest about what u need to fix, but u will also get a great price on the job. I'll continue to drive the 50 miles (one way) to their shop, because I know I can trust them. EVA does more than just customize some really nice rides, they can also keep your older Benz like mine running strong. Thanks again Mike and Kevin!! Rod Salazar 2004 C230K Sedan read more

I've done everything from regular maintenance and upkeep to performance and after-market installs, to custom and cosmetic upgrades. Family-owned and truly a quick and professional shop. Best of all, courteous, accommodating and HONEST. I usually don't write YELP reviews unless the places are either AMAZING or CRAP. This place is amazing. read more

Took my car to Kevin about a week ago to get my car wrapped in protective matte. Also got my chrome blacked out and roof wrapped black as well as powder coated my rims. Did enough research before deciding what I wanted my BMW M4 to look like. Brought the idea over to Kevin at EV. He kept me updated with the parts and before I knew it Kevin called me letting me know I can come in to get everything installed. Picked the car up two days later and all I can say is it was well executed further then my expectations. The attention to detail Kevin has differs from the previous shops I've been to for other mods. The customer service and knowledge behind this shop is outstanding. I'll definitely recommend this shop to anyone period. Thanks for everything, Kevin. read more

I've been coming to EVA for almost a year now and I can honestly say these guys are the best around. There are a lot of auto repair / custom shops in the area, but none as honest, affordable, and detailed as these guys. Kevin and Mike know their European cars better than most and you can tell they care about their work and your satisfaction. I'm usually hesitant to leave my car with a mechanic, but not with EVA. They have a love for European cars and will treat yours like their own. Over the past year they've helped transform my E46 M3 into my perfect personal vision and keep it well maintained in the process.
