Poor ppf quality. Bad folds. A bunch of texture in the film.

I had my taillights tinted on a 2025 Range Rover Sport here about 3 weeks ago with ppf. The film quality was really poor, there was folds where there should be cuts, it was just a poor job overall. I did a blinker delete on my front headlight and they cut through the film onto my headlight. On top of it, they forgot to tint the rear reflectors/reverse lights. I took it all off a few days later because I really couldn't stand looking at it. I asked for a partial refund, not even half, a partial refund for 1. The poor quality of the ppf. 2. The poor quality of the job itself. 3. Cutting into my headlights. 4. Forgetting to do the reflectors. It's been 3 weeks and they still do not want to give me any bit of refund. The reason I came here in the first place is because they wrapped my last car and actually did a good job. I thought it would be the same, but they changed location and seems like personnel changed also. I had everything redone at another shop and it all came out perfect, it looks factory. Pay a little more somewhere else to get better work or you'll learn the hard way like I did.

PPF lifting and not wrapped around edges

Absolutely unprofessional business and their poor work actually put my life at risk. I've been to both locations, LA and Long Beach. The person who communicates with you is Art, who you will actually never meet. After discussing the services you want and make an appointment, when you actually get there, the employees don't even know know anything and you have to show them the messages between you and Art for them to get started. One of the services was getting my calipers painted. When I came back to pick up my car and drove home, I noticed a ticking/rattling sound and a that the car felt bumpy on a 1 hour drive home. After getting home, I realized that my hub caps weren't put on correctly. All of them were not aligned where the tire valves go and were sticking out. That's when I saw that not only did they get paint on my wheel discs from not covering other parts before the painting process, but the lug nuts for my wheel weren't even tightened! My wheel could have fallen off and I literally could have died while driving as well as putting others at harm because of their huge mistake. After contacting Art, all he offered was a tail light tint. No discount or refund at all even after putting my life in danger and others at risk. When I got the tail lights, tinted, I noticed that it started to bubble so I had to drive all the way back to get that fixed as well which was very time consuming because it's an 1+ hour there and even longer on the way back because of traffic. Next, was my PPF services at their Long Beach location. I spoke to a woman named Olga. I got there at 10am and she told me to come back for my car at around 2pm. I had my friend drive me all the way there and drop me off at around 6pm. I tell them I'm here to pick up my car and am waiting in the office for about 20 minutes until Olga says that I will have to leave the car overnight... WHAT. My car was there for like 8 hours and they couldn't even finish a partial PPF?? No communication, no sense of time, and such an inconvenience to the customer. I literally had no way back as I expected to pick up my car the same day like they said. I even gave them extra time. I came back the next day to pick up my car at a later time and saw that in the morning the PPF was peeling and that dust/dirt had been trapped underneath. When I stopped by after having to drive through traffic after work, all they did was slice the edges of the PPF that was lifting up or peeling off. I asked why are they just slicing off the edges when on their instagram page, they proudly claim that they install their PPF around edges full protection. She said because they can't reach around the edges which doesn't make sense because the other side of the car was just fine. Another issue I mentioned was that there was still the black dirt/dust stuck underneath the PPF and Olga thought that she could magically spray water over the top of it and wipe it off... like I said, it was underneath the PPF. She then said that they couldn't do anything about it as other installers stood by us looking confused. I told her because there's obvious visual dirt underneath, that they could just redo the partial PPF. Her dumb response to that was they are not going to redo it and that I was overthinking it and because my car was black and white colored, that the dust/dirt blended in with it... I was so shocked at the form of unprofessionalism and laziness that this business has for their customers. They wouldn't offer any kind of solution for me and pretty much told me it is what it is. On my way home through traffic again, I tried contacting Art about everything that just happened. All he did was ask for my phone number which was weird because he usually either messages me or calls me on Instagram. He ghosted me and has not responded to any of my messages for the last few days, leaving me on seen, and even continues to post on their story about the services they offer but are in reality, just poor work and false claims. I soon realized that he asked for my phone number so that they could block me. A huge waste of time and money by having services done by Xwraps. From the unprofessionalism, poor work, false claims, disorganized communication and time awareness, and the inconvenience of having to go back and forth because they either take forever working on the car or they want you to leave the car overnight without telling you beforehand; All of these show that they are incompetent and unfit to be a trustworthy business.

Scratch they put on car

They under deliver as far as when your vehicle will be ready. Before I agreed to anything I asked if my vehicle would be ready by Sunday morning because I needed it for work. Drop off was Friday. The lady at the Long Beach location agreed. I have a Tesla so I was able to see if it was actually getting worked on. All of Friday it just sat. I dropped it off Friday at 11 am. They didn't start working on it until Saturday. I called Saturday afternoon and the man who answered told me it'll be ready Sunday at 12pm. I called Sunday morning to verify and the same man answered the phone and he said it would be ready by 2pm. Not even 5 minutes after hanging up the "Manager" texted and said it would be ready at 5. This is unacceptable. This company over delivers on the time when really they have you drop your vehicle off and they don't even work on it until the next day. I haven't even seen the PPF and the tint yet but so far off to a bad start. To add when I finally picked up my vehicle it was horrible! They put a scratch on my car that wasn't there at first because the car is brand new and the PPF looked like my 7 year old did it not to mention the window tint on the windshield was so blurry I couldn't even see out of it to drive. This company charged me 4100 for this mess! I'm so upset. Not to mention my car is brand new and when they returned it to me it looked used! It was filthy even inside.

Ed answered the line and offered to give me quotes over phone. When I told him I could leave the car all day, he welcomed my business and was enthusiastic about taking my car in. When I got there, he helped me select the best tint options for my windows and the price was much more affordable than other tint shops in the area. He also offered a discount if I paid with cash. Just before I left, Ed asked if I called an Uber and when I told him I did, he asked me to wait inside the shop (I'm assuming for my safety) which I thought was a welcomed touch of human compassion that I don't experience often with car shops. When I picked up my vehicle, I was so impressed with the tint job. The windows looked so clean and the tint shade he recommended turned out perfect. He also offers a lifetime warranty for peels and cracks. I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received and how easy it was to get my car tinted so quickly, without sacrificing the quality. I will definitely be returning with future vehicles and referring friends and family to this shop.

Honestly, i was on the hunt for a good place to trust my car with wrapping it. I called probably…read moreeveryone possible in the valley that does wraps. But when i called Essential tints, they basically broke down everything i was looking for and even told me i can come by and check out the wraps they have in person. So after going there and meeting with the team, Sam, Martin, and John. They all kind of broke down the best options for me to move forward (considering I will have my car for 7-10 more years). They then introduced to me something called "Color PPF". and When i first heard it, i was thinking okay that sounds dope but what's the price tag..? Turns out vinyl wrap that every shop uses, lasts only like 3 years or so, while the colored PPF lasts 7-10 years. And when you're already considering to pay a good amount of money to get a car wrapped, why not put in a little bit more and get the best possible results. I cannot explain the ease of the whole thing. I also had them redo my tint and wow the difference is worldly. To be honest, the biggest thing that made me wanna get it done with essential tints, is the fact that they offer a loaner car... i've NEVER seen a shop do that. only dealerships. They did a fantastic job on it honestly i don't have anything but great words because my car is truly 1-1 now. (even if it's just a "tesla") So thank you John, Sam, and Martin and your whole crew for this amazing job done. 10/10 will definitely be coming back with more cars and need to get more tints done on mine

Some discoveries redefine your standard for what excellence actually looks like…read more For tinting your car windows, Next Level Window Tinting is that discovery. I found them here on Yelp, and within moments it was clear this was an operation of uncommon seriousness -- the kind of business that doesn't need to announce its quality because you can see it in the details. Every review, every photograph, every response already speaks with quiet authority. I reached out and was contacted straight away, then scheduled for the following morning. In a world of waitlists and unreturned messages, that responsiveness alone was a statement. Then Jessie and Rafael arrived -- and the statement became a masterclass. They come to you, with a fully equipped mobile van, professionally stocked and loaded, bringing legitimate shop-grade precision directly to your driveway. No inconvenience. No half-measures. And at prices so reasonable for the caliber of work delivered, you'll find yourself double-checking the quote just to make sure you read it right. Watching them work on my new VW was something close to witnessing artistry in motion -- deliberate, exacting, utterly unhurried. Every edge seated perfectly. Every corner addressed with care. The kind of quiet, focused competence that only comes from people who have decided, at some foundational level, that "good enough" is simply not a category they operate in. The finished result is not 'impressive for mobile service' ... It is not 'great for the price' ... It is, without qualification or caveat: flawless. But what lingers longest after Jessie and Rafael pack up their van and drive away is something harder to quantify than the tint itself -- it's the unmistakable energy of two brothers who are building something with their hands, their hustle, and a genuine pride in their craft - with a positive attitude and a smile. There is something deeply worth supporting in that. Something you don't encounter often enough. Five stars. Without hesitation; without reservation. Go book them today.
