3 months ago, I reached out for a quote and to make an appointment. George responded right away and scheduled me the following day for the ceramic tint. For my Chevy Volt, I opted to do the windshield in addition to the other windows with different shades. It was a reasonable price and i am happy with the finish. I went on a 4000 mile road trip and I could tell the difference with the temperature and protection from the sun. Completely worth it and definitely recommend LA Shade Tint. Thanks George! read more

About two weeks late on this review but let me tell you - this place is AMAZING. Not only was I able to be seen THE NEXT DAY at 9am, my service was completed in an hour and a half which y'all know, NEVER HAPPENS! I've taken plenty of cars to a shop in Northridge and every time it's been upwards of 3 hours to have a car completed. George at LA Shade Tint did a tremendous job on my Tesla Model S. Installation took a little under 2 hours, and the value for the price was unbeatable. He and his team have good experience working with Teslas, which are notorious for being some of the worst cars to install tinting on (while still being absolutely necessary). The shop is immaculate, he only uses top-quality nano-ceramic (why would anyone want to go backwards to that old flimsy tint that doesn't reject heat?), and a computer plotter to precision-cut the tint for the perfect professional look. Really impressed by LA Shade Tint! I found them on yelp and gave it a shot based on the other reviews. George was really nice and helpful. I was able to get an appt the following day and the price was very very reasonable. It's been a week and I am happy with my tints! Just a heads up he does work out of his house. It is totally legit and he has a really sweet set up and also a waiting area. Just giving a heads up because I was a little confused driving in a residential street looking for a tint shop. Ed answered the line and offered to give me quotes over phone. When I told him I could leave the car all day, he welcomed my business and was enthusiastic about taking my car in. When I got there, he helped me select the best tint options for my windows and the price was much more affordable than other tint shops in the area. He also offered a discount if I paid with cash. Just before I left, Ed asked if I called an Uber and when I told him I did, he asked me to wait inside the shop (I'm assuming for my safety) which I thought was a welcomed touch of human compassion that I don't experience often with car shops. When I picked up my vehicle, I was so impressed with the tint job. The windows looked so clean and the tint shade he recommended turned out perfect. He also offers a lifetime warranty for peels and cracks. I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received and how easy it was to get my car tinted so quickly, without sacrificing the quality. I will definitely be returning with future vehicles and referring friends and family to this shop.

Just give him the year, model and make of your ride, the number of windows you need tinted, and the type of film you want and Mike will give you an estimate for the job. Long story short, I waited about an hour for him to tint the front driver and passenger side windows; that was actually far quicker than I expected. I was charged a very fair and reasonable price, especially considering the quality. There are plenty of places to get your windows tinted, but Blackout is among the best out there. They then introduced to me something called "Color PPF". and When i first heard it, i was thinking okay that sounds dope but what's the price tag..? Turns out vinyl wrap that every shop uses, lasts only like 3 years or so, while the colored PPF lasts 7-10 years. And when you're already considering to pay a good amount of money to get a car wrapped, why not put in a little bit more and get the best possible results. I cannot explain the ease of the whole thing. I also had them redo my tint and wow the difference is worldly. To be honest, the biggest thing that made me wanna get it done with essential tints, is the fact that they offer a loaner car... i've NEVER seen a shop do that. only dealerships. They did a fantastic job on it honestly i don't have anything but great words because my car is truly 1-1 now. I don't ever really write Yelp reviews but it's the least I could do for Gevorg over at LA Shade Tint. I could talk about how it's well-priced and how there's a wonderful life-time warranty for peace of mind but all of the reviews already say that! What stood out to me was the grace and kindness that Gevorg extended to me despite me most assuredly giving him a headache by trying to remove my own tint prior to his installation. Since I didn't do a perfect job, it was actually more of an issue then just leaving it on by itself. Despite that, he took care of everything in a timely and friendly manner. On top of that, as somebody who always got the basic tint, I can already notice the difference that ceramic makes while driving specifically! If you hate the feeling of having the AC on but the car still feeling hot from the sun, then definitely make the investment (and at LA Shade Tint specifically) Bonus points for great conversation and make sure not tip in desserts because I learned my lesson! tldr He's the real deal if you want a nice meticulous tint. Recommend! Gevorg is a wonderful, earnest, and honest man. He has his own cars displayed just to prove how excellent his tint jobs are. He tinted my 2024 Tesla M3 for a rate well below what other shops were offering. However the big difference for me is that he has experience working on Teslas, which some shops turned me away for.
