Great chain location. No issues with this location. It is a very busy area across from the Spectrum Mall area. The food was great, it came at a decent price. The service was good. We were met quickly and seated fast. The server checked on us at decent intervals. It was not a busy day. I like the decor, it is similar to other Oregano's, drink and appetizer pricing was average. I don't usually rate chain restaurants higher than a 4 unless there is something amazing about it. I know that OReganos can fill up on certain days and times. There is no sports tv in the dining area, just old movies and shows for the decor. There is a heated area and outdoor patio. A full bar with decent options. I prefer the pizza and appetizer with drinks, primarily beer.

Grabbed a pickup order and it was ready when I arrived. I got a 14in thin with pepperoni and it was SO burnt. The crust is my favorite part and I couldn't eat it. The guac a tony tasted like soap for some very weird reason, so that went to waste. Cookie (free off birthday) was good. I wish they had non chocolate options for the cookie.

    Alfredo The Dark with chicken

I'll start by saying I came in with two babies under two. They were extremely kind and patient with us. We ordered a pizza, Alfredo the dark and a prickly margarita. Everything was phenomenal. But I'm here to give Scott the manager a shoutout. I asked if they had coloring supplies for the two year old. He went out of his way to print her a coloring sheet, he gave her a pencil and some pizza dough to play with. In the eyes of a mom, 10/10!

Oregano's is the type of restaurant where sometimes you hate everything you get, and sometimes you love everything you get. I'm gonna tell you exactly what's good. The El Diablo Pasta is delicious and has a spicy kick to it but it's not intolerable. We like to ask for the pico de gallo on the side. Alfredo The Dark with chicken is my favorite pasta dish from Oreganos. It's flavorful, filling and the chili on the side gives it a good spice. For all pastas I prefer to order the breads on the side, because otherwise they get soggy. El Pablo salad is a must!!! A super tasty salad that again, is pretty filling. It's very flavorful and the sauce provided is so good, we often order extra. For appetizer, we got the Italian Fried Zucchini and they were delicious. Pretty flavorful and even better when dipped in the ranch. The star of the night were the Pretty Hot Jumbo Wings. They were super flavorful, pretty spicy, and huge so they were also really filling. The fries that come with them are very very good too. Super crispy and tasty. The shirley temple I got here needed a little more grenadine for my taste but it was still good! Plates here are big so we usually like to order 2-3 dishes and share it between 3-4 people. The service was great! Our waitress was very attentive and even helped us clean up a spill. The ambiance here is super cool. It feels as if you're actually in an italian diner or something similar. Make sure to bring a cardigan or a light jacket because it's pretty chilly. Music was leaning on a little too loud. Wait time here va of course but more often than not, we have to wait a while to be seated and for our food to arrive. Just be aware of that so you plan accordingly!

Jasmine, thank you so much for coming in and taking over our table. You literally turned our frowns upside down. Our previous server from the bar provided really bad service. We requested a new server and jasmine came to the rescue. You are really great at your job, your energy is awesome and literally provided top tier customer service. Thank you jasmine!

Red Plate Special- don't miss this amazing deal.

When it comes casual Italian food with a modern twist, Oregano's is great. The meatball sub, Vino Bambino salad and Big Rig pasta are our faves. Oregano's is currently offering an amazing $30 special for their 30th anniversary and it's an amazing price for a lot of food- Two pastas, a giant salad and a pizza cookie- plenty of leftovers for the two of us. We're very happy to have an Oregano's close to home and regularly order takeout. I wish there were a few lighter options on the menu, but I understand that's not their thing. Service at this location is always friendly and a bit faster than some of the others.

Zany Ziti Delicious and cheesy. Comes in a bread bowl and includes a big slice of bread. Add a Caesar salad!

What I couldn't finish. Delicious salad.

The coffee and baked goods were phenomenal, but the real standout for me was the breakfast sandwich. Who knew such simple ingredients on a brioche bun could come together like a work of art? We ordered mocktails, as she's 17 and I rarely drink, and they were truly refreshing and delicious. Our server, I've forgotten his name, was tall, friendly and patient when I requested to stagger service, as it was a Sunday evening at 1630. The bread and oil was ok, calamari app was good, mostly tentacles and felt as if a third of the plate was just breading afterwards because we got the bottom of the bag from the freezer. For entrees, my daughter had the ragu bolognese and it was 4 minutes away from being al dente, the pasta was uncooked and tough. I wanted to send it back but my daughter said she would "just eat it". I usually get pasta or branzino, but this time I opted for the roasted chicken and it was the most insipid dish I have ever tasted. The chicken was boiled or sous vide and then given char marks on a grill, not roasted, not herbed, just charred. The au jus an overly salted corn starch thickened glaze. The broccolini and polenta on side were good and that's what I ate. The chef needs to fix this item or take it off the menu expeditiously. During dining service we felt bad for the several servers who were dealing with 2 screaming kids running through the dining room and out onto the patio. Several times bumping into servers with trays, the parents, cocktail in hand, barely did anything to attempt to stop them. As a restaurant, if something happened to those children, tray with piping hot pasta, it would be your responsibility, so next time kindly ask them to leave. It was loud and wrong and not the fault of your servers. All in all, I will have to take Locale off my list of restaurants to recommend for Italian food in Tucson, it was always the first place I recommend.

House croutons need more of a blast in that wooded oven to crisp up as they were limp and doughy but still polished off the greens. 4/5* Love me some Mortadella and hard to find on menus even in an Italian Grinder here, so my focus lasered in on Tony Balona $18 with Burrata, smoked mozz (didn't taste any smoke) and pistachio dust (very minimal at center, wah), thick swirls of pistachio pesto and switched red sauce for garlic oil, a thin simple sauce. Even though the restaurant was open for business they did not answer the phone! Warning! I finally had my call answered in the evening and made our reservation and informed them that we were interested in the 'Cheese Wheel Linguine' as you are required. We were then informed while ordering that they would not be doing the 'wheel' due to 'callouts' that night. OK, so I tried to order (4) different bottles of Chardonnay and they were out of three of them. We started with an appetizer of 'calamari' and it came 'burnt' and like rubber. We also ordered their famous Caesar Salad and were never served. We then decided to order a pizza which was served to us cold, uncooked and doughy. The poor wait staff and cooks are not managed correctly and were well over whelmed with no help. I was informed that the restaurant has 'new ownership' as they were purchased by 'Flying Leap Vineyards' and have been recently having staffing issues, inventory issue's and the new owners have cut back on everything. They did credit us on our bill for the cold uncooked pizza and the burnt calamari that was not edible. Our waiter felt so bad but, as we told him it was not his fault we were leaving without eating dinner 90 minutes later. Flying Leap Vineyards needs to somehow overcome this type of quality and improve things in a hurry otherwise ' just shut the doors' and sell Wine!
