    Trident Cheesesteak with Tator tots.
    Robbie H.

This was my first time coming to Trident Pizza Pub :). They have a few others in town, but specialize in different types of foods I believe. First Impression: When the Trident Cheesesteak and wings landed at my table, I felt like I'd stumbled upon a treasure chest of indulgence. Picture a cheesesteak loaded to the brim, gooey cheese oozing from every side, with a pair of wings that looked like they'd been marinated by a wizard. This was a feast for the eyes, and I couldn't wait to dig in (after a quick photo, of course). Interactions: The server who brought over my food seemed to share my excitement for this meal -- they even leaned in and said, "You're in for a treat." It's always nice when your server is as pumped as you are! Their enthusiasm had me convinced I was about to eat something unforgettable, and let's just say they weren't wrong. Food: Let's break this down. First, the Trident Cheesesteak: a masterpiece of melty cheese, juicy beef, and a soft roll that managed to hold it all together despite its hefty contents. Every bite was a delightful mess -- cheese dripping, bits of meat falling out. It's one of those sandwiches you tackle with two hands and a stack of napkins, and it's absolutely worth the mess. Then there were the wings. They weren't shy on flavor; these little guys packed a punch. Crispy on the outside with tender, spicy meat inside, they brought the heat without being overwhelmingly spicy. It's like they went to a spice convention, got inspired, but came back just spicy enough to make you reach for a drink, not a fire extinguisher. Service: The staff was quick and friendly, balancing the perfect level of attention without hovering. My drink was topped off right as I hit the halfway mark, and they checked in just enough to make sure I had everything I needed without intruding on my cheesesteak trance. I appreciated their timing; it was like they knew I needed my wings and cheesesteak moment. Value: Honestly? For what I got, this was a steal. The portions were generous, the flavors were on point, and I didn't feel like I had to empty my wallet for a seriously satisfying meal. Considering the quality and quantity, this combo punches well above its price tag. Recommendation: If you're craving something hearty, flavorful, and just plain fun to eat, go for the Trident Cheesesteak and wings. Just be prepared to get a little messy and have a few friends try to sneak bites of your sandwich. This is comfort food with flair -- perfect for anyone who appreciates a good sandwich and wings with a side of spice-induced happiness.

    Cast Iron Pepperoni Rolls!
    Michelle R.

We went here on a whim and I am so glad we did! I ordered the cast iron pepperoni rolls and the rosemary potato pizza - both we spectacular! We went on a Friday night and I expected it to be a long wait for food, but it wasn't! Our food order came out within a great timeframe. The waitress was knowledgeable, kind and prompt. The cast iron pepperoni rolls are so unique. The rolls are cooked with pepperoni and cheese rolled into them - similar to a cinnamon roll. They come with marinara for dipping which was fabulous! The cast iron gives them a crisp bottom - these are delish! They do take some time to bake, and they alert you to this with a clock next to the item on the menu which was very helpful. The waitress also made sure we knew about the cook time, which was much appreciated. They are worth the wait! I loved the pizza - crust is perfect and the toppings were just right. I can't wait to try more items!

Small Veggie Supreme Pizza (no olives)
    Kristina K.

I tried Trident Pizza Pub for the first time yesterday with my friend who has had it before and liked it. We shared the Veggie Supreme pizza. We ordered on the phone and I realized after I called that I forgot to ask for the pizza with no olives. I called back a few minutes later and they were able to accommodate. When we walked in there were not many people in the restaurant, but there were a few outside and at the bar. The service was fast and friendly. The pizza had fresh toppings and a good taste. Though, something about the crust did remind me of a frozen pizza. That does not mean that I wouldn't eat here again though! It's not the best pizza I have had, but it is conveniently located and it hits the spot for a pizza craving!

I Love Getting Pizza from trident, but every time i order it to go the pizza is never covered each slice only has toppings near the center (this happens more with the large size) love the pizza but just have to be willing to pay 30 dollars for each slide to only have 50% of the toppings.

    House salad with lemon vinaigrette

We ordered Trident Pizza Pub for delivery yesterday evening, right before the west side of town was pummeled by a massive storm. Despite an inevitable traffic delay, the pizza was still hot and salad still cold when our order arrived. Impressive! Both were very tasty and given that we'd lost power a few times, we were grateful to have a good meal that we didn't have to try to cook (one less thing to worry about.) Trident's prices are a bit higher than other comparable pizza places in town, but food and service are always good and this is a fun place to meet friends or watch a sporting event.

    1/2 spicy meatball 1/2 A&P pizza
    Crystal M.

We enjoyed a delicious pizza after a U of A football game here. We've been to other Trident locations around Tucson, and recently had an amazing burger at the Swan location. This location specializes in wood fired pizzas. We were able to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the evening. TVs were on so we could watch games. Apres option is always a plus in Tucson. Some things that made Trident's pizza joint stand out: you can split a pizza 1/2 and 1/2 even with a small pizza, perfect wood fire pizza taste, solid fresh ingredients, and great service. The best thing we tasted was the 1/2 of the pizza called A&P. This was served with prosciutto and arugula, which is typical. What was not was the fried egg and truffle oil that accompanied it. These created an elevated savory experience to a classic favorite slice. We'll definitely stop in again if we're in the neighborhood

We were seated right away since it wasn't busy, and things started off simple enough with bread and oil. We asked for parmesan to go with it, and our server seemed unsure how to respond, eventually bringing out packet parm even though fresh was clearly available. Not a huge deal, but we found it odd. A little later, we asked for more bread. The server told us they were out but, "that they could probably make more". . He relayed it to the woman handling bread, who then made more for another table and skipped us entirely. He mentioned it again to her when he saw us looking in their direction. she looked over, and still nothing. It was awkward, since the restaurant is the size of a closet. Once the pizza came, we got up ourselves to ask for more oil and parmesan, since our waiter hadn't come to check back. We got the oil instantly since we brought us the bowl, but no parmesan. At one point my son asked for bread, again, finally it came and the server literally tossed it on the table without a word. We said thank you and he completely ignored all of us. It didn't get any better from there. The bill was dropped on the table without a word either. My husband and I kept looking at each other with confused looks. We turned the bill in with our CC, and once the server returned it, same thing, not a single interaction. We also watched the same server make another table feel like an inconvenience over something as simple as asking for a bottle of Coke instead of a can. The customer ended up backing down just to avoid the hassle. The server then told the guest, "it's fine, I can get it for you!" On top of that, staff were wearing gloves while handling food, but also touching chairs, phones, and other surfaces; kind of defeats the purpose I think? My boys also had a weird interaction with a staff near the bathrooms who was very rude to them and accused them of cutting the line, despite no one waiting. It was very strange. Bottom line: the food is incredible, no question. But the service was so bad it's hard to ignore. Best advice, get it to go and skip the experience inside.

We started with the ABG salad that surprised me because I'm usually not a big fan of Gorgonzola, but the combination of green apple, pecan brittle, and cheese worked really well together and made for a great balance of flavors. For the pizza, we ordered the mushroom pizza and added pepperoni. The sauce was excellent I believe was some sort of a garlic/oil white sauce the mushroom portion was generous which I absolutely love, and the crust was exactly what I look for crunchy on the outside while still soft and slightly sweet inside. My only minor complaint with the toppings is that the $4 pepperoni add on felt a bit light, we only had a 2 or 3 slices per piece. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that our pizza was just slightly overcooked. The bottom was charred all the way around; wasn't burnt to the point of sending it back, but definitely left in the oven a minute or two longer than it needed to be. It wasn't busy when we visited, and it seemed like the employee rotating pizzas was a little more focused on chatting with FOH coworkers than keeping an eye on the oven. I've worked in pizza restaurants for nearly a decade, so I may be a bit more particular than most customers. Realistically, if our pizza had come out even a minute earlier, it would have been a 10/10 meal. That said, I enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back. The quality is there, and I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu in the future.

And two Old Fashionables ($13) - strong, delicious, and not too sweet. We split their one-size pizza (roughly 12" medium) in order to save room for their famous, rotating desserts. Their 'zas are super thin crust and really need to be eaten straight from the oven so that the bottom never has a chance to get soggy.
