Only knock I would give it is the Caesar salad had huge leaves of romaine, can I cut it yes, presents nice but eats a little awkward. But as far as taste, you can tell they don't use a store bought dressing and make it in house, the anchovy forward flavor is so, so good! The pizza had the perfect crust, thin, yet not flimsy which can be hard to do, you can tell they know what they are doing! The thing that stood apart from ok pizza for me was that crust and specifically the ricotta cheese dollops to help offset the heat from the hot sauce and peppers. They flavors were so well balanced which can be hard with dealing with the spices! Driving across AZ, we stopped in Tucson. I had a hankerin' for some pizza and the wife found this spot. The parking was kinda junk but after the car situation was taken care of, everything was amazing. The service was great. The people are super nice and the restaurant itself is quite inviting. It was a tasty pie and although the sauce was a little bland (I believe it is just sweet crushed canned Italian tomatoes) a shake of dried oregano, grated parmigiana and dried chili peppers helped. It was as good as I remembered. The garlic knots are perfect and remind me of pizza Luna rip. The wings were crispy but juicy and so flavorful. I'm not particularly attached to either thin or thick crust, but this was a perfect thin crust that still had a soft chewiness. I usually don't eat the crust on pizza but I ate the crusts here. We also got some lemon pepper wings. They weren't the usual dry lemon pepper seasoning I'm used to, but still really good. They were more like a wet buffalo wing, but lemon pepper flavored instead of spicy. We'd definitely go back if we're in Tucson again. read more

For dinner, I ordered Los Tres Cerditos which is the 3 Pigs, that has pancetta, pepperoni, and house made sausage. I'm glad to see they serve Arizona craft beer. I was happy to get a beer out of Flagstaff from Darksky, which I think is one of the best breweries in the state. I asked about their cold fermentation for dough and it was interesting. From what I was told, it's a slow 3 day fermentation at colder temperatures. A good portion of the staff came from Pizza Luna. I didn't try Pizza Luna when they were open, but I heard they were a great pizza place. The location is where Love Burger used to be. Everything was really good, but expensive. I paid $9 for a pint which is about 30% higher than I would have thought, but downtown space is expensive. Really good Pizza joint. read more
