Have eaten here in the past!! Was wonderful. Food service, etc. came out tonight with friends from out of town. 37min. Wait. Not a problem. Seated, and waited over an hour for food that we were then told they were out of. So we ordered different menu items.. the pasta was very dry and half of our dishes came with almost no sauce. They brought out more Alfredo, but they were out of red sauce.. okay still very we are understanding. Got the bill they charged us for extra sauces, female manager was very rude, not even trying to make our experience more enjoyable. We now go elsewhere to eat this style food.. read more

Hi, i would like to make reservations for 6 tomorrow, jan 10 @ 1:00. Sort of like a mini high school reunion. We graduated in 1968 and have not seen one another in yrs. wud love a large booth, we will be there for awhile. Thx. Jackie c. Wow, we had the best service and cheerful welcoming. Our food was not only bountiful, but was sooo flavorful. The salads were filled with fresh lettuces and veggies, nice and crispy. What a great place to have our reunion of friends. Thankyou ! read more

Stopped here a few weeks ago as normally we eat at the Gilbert location. It was about 8:15 so hardly anyone there. The front desk tells me it's a 20 minute wait. They had people spread so far and wide here I could have parked my car in between them. So I ask them, can we sit outside then? I get this response: there is not outside seating due to Covid. Well, that's ridiculous but fine. So I say we'll wait at the bar for a table. Nope, can't sit at the bar either due to Covid. Keep in mind no one is there and it's me and the wife. Never again will I go to this establishment. There are a LOT of good pizza places around these days. I'd recommend anyone of them over this place. Sad to see it go down this road it was a family favorite for years.... read more

Love the Italian Wedding soup in a pizza Dough bowl! Fantastic outdoor seating with two fireplaces! Food is excellent and bartenders are great! read more

I'm extremely disappointed that Oregano's wasted my time on a special evening that was supposed to be spent celebrating my sons birthday. I called ahead to have my name added to the list and was told there was a 30 minute wait. The attendant even asked what time I would be arriving, even after she told me there was a wait. After waiting 30 minutes so that I could be seated when I arrived, when I checked in she told me it would be an additional 30 minutes because the call ahead list apparently does nothing to save you time!!!! And to top things off I had to wait outside or in my car because of the Covid situation!!!! This has always been our go to place to celebrate special occasions but now I think I will NEVER go back. My son was extremely disappointed he couldn't have his favorite pizza on what was supposed to be his special day, since he can't have a birthday party due to Covid. read more

The food was very good however the wait time and service was lacking. Oh yes, they need to add a bit more sauce with their dishes, a few of their dishes were a bit dry. I asked for more honey mustard dressing for my salad and I was charged $.75 for a plastic cup. Waiting more than 15 minutes for a meal was inexcusable. read more

I don't think I've ever had a problem at any of the Oregano's restaurants that I've visited in the valley...and I've visited almost all of them. Consistently good. Awesome Italian eatery, maybe my favorite. read more

I love oregano's food and atmosphere, and have probably been to 6 or so of their locations. Including this location a few times previously. The service is typically better than most restaurants, but today they were not on top of their game! It's the middle of the afternoon, ~ 1:45 pm, and it is not busy in here at all. I was sat down just inside the door at a high top table. After sitting at the table for almost 10 minutes, the hostess came back over to me asking if I had been waited on yet. She went and got my waitress who had already walked by me 4-5 times without stopping or acknowledging me at all. The blonde waitress finally comes by and takes my drink (and food as I was ready to go by then) order. Delivers my drink quickly, and my food (meatballs as I just wanted a snack) comes out a few minutes later. I'm a big o Parmesan fan so wanted my meatballs smothered in some. I have now been sitting here for another 10 minutes waiting on Parmesan and a drink refill writing this review. I get the Covid deal and difficulty with labor issues that have made the food business difficult, but if the person managing the place isn't training properly and paying attention to the details with customers, that's where the underlying issue is with service! read more

Best Pizza in Tempe Arizona. Oh, you also have to try the Pizza Cookie it's better than BJ's

I know a lot of people who say that Oregano's has sub-par pizza. It's pizza. It's not supposed to be a party in your mouth. It's just pizza. And at Oregano's, it's good. They've got some okay pasta and some nice sandwiches, but if anything, you want to hit this place up for the Pizza Cookie dessert, which IS a party in your mouth: half-baked cookie dough with a dollop of ice cream on top in a pizza deep dish. It's fantastic. I'm also partial to some of their salads. Great theme and ambiance, and the college-aged staff makes an effort not to seem too much like college-aged staff. However, it's crowded and loud, which is a nice environment if you're just hanging with friends or on a date with the wife. Bringing kids is a bit of a nightmare because of the long wait times and the claustrophobic rage it puts my kids into. They do give the kids a coloring thing and a lob of pizza dough to play with. Great touches, but just touches. It's like trying to put out a forest fire with a truckload of water. It'll help for all of a minute, and in the end you still have to clean up the truck wreckage. read more

I love this place. Went 10/21/18 and the service was great and so was the food except.... they completely ran out of all there lasagna, all varieties and I got the Zany Ziti In a bread bowl or I should say a bread rock. The ziti was great but the bread bowl was rock solid that you could not eat it, my daughters was the same way. Now I am Italian and bread is a Staple with pasta and not being able to eat the bread bowl was s big let down considering I know you pay extra for the bread bowl. Fix this! read more

Oreganos is the best Italian food place I've ever been too. After moving to phoenix three years ago, we were taken to Oregano's in Goodyear. All we could say was wow. We since eaten at almost all of the locations in the valley. The Cave Creek spot is one of our favorites. We highly recommend this place for the best food in the valley. read more

I ordered a pizza on door dash the right side of the pie was smushed. Not the restaurants fault. The pizza was just awful. It was really greasy and tasted like cafeteria pizza. The crust was burnt. I would steer clear of this restaurant. The last time I ordered here I had the lasagna and it wasn't even edible. I will not be ordering pizza from here ever again read more

I would honestly give a partial star if I could, I called in my order and was told 30min. I arrived just after that and it looked like she printed my receipt and gave it to the cooks to start when I got there because I waited another 35 minutes after arriving there. Jillian, the girl taking my order, didn't even apologize for the wait when I got my order. I was there for well over an hour and not once did anyone say anything to me. Go to a different place to eat. Terrible service. read more

Good food ad the best gold wings The manager at the Tempe. Oregano on Rlliot & Priest was the most friendliest manager I have ever meet. You can see from his actions he cares about his customers. He even gave us our sandwiches on the house ad we didn't even complain about the wait. He just saw we were waiting for a while to get them. Great Customer Service!! read more

Ordered Oregano's through Door Dash (first time using this app) on Labor Day Evening. One specific dish was ordered with extra items as offered on the menu. Those items were not in our order. There was an additional charge for each of the 2 additional items which I paid for. I called Oregano's and initially spoke with a woman who insisted I had not ordered from that location which I have proof that my order originated from their location. I then spoke with a Manager who coldly informed me she couldn't assist as I had no monetary exchange with Oregano's". From a customer service perspective Oregano's absolutely could have done something but chose not to. For clarification purposes I asked who prepared and packed the order, response "Oregano's. So I understand I have to deal with Door Dash for the monetary part of this but does Oregano's really think they can't do anything? Or am I being too harsh? Could the driver have taken the items? This was the Tempe location at Priest/Elliott. So now I'm trying to deal with Door Dash who wants to credit me for a future Door Dash order (which I will never use) so that is useless to me. Fortunately I paid with my credit card so will be disputing the charges. Hopefully someone will respond to me from Door Dash and I do plan to speak with the Store Manager of Oregano's. This was very disappointing experience. Shame on Oregano's for not even trying to provide any level of customer. read more

We've heard all the hype on this place but never went. Man am I sorry for all the missed opportunities! It's worth its reputation! Pan pizza and chicken Parmesan were fantastic. But the wings, ohhhhh wow. Also the cheese bread was gone in a flash. Our waiter, DJ, was knowledgeable, made fantastic recommendations and could not have been nicer. One of the best servers we've had in a long time. Next time we return, we're coming here again! read more

Visiting the area and stopped by at 9pm with a party of 8. Our waitress was Alexa and everything was amazing! Among our party we had the stuffed mushrooms (delicious spicy Italian sausage, basil, cilantro, and marinara sauce), spinach artichoke dip, big beef sandwich, Italian wedding soup, and old fashioned sangria. We also had a birthday among us and they provided the BEST birthday dessert I've ever had - it was a HUGE warm chocolate chip cookie with several scoops of ice cream on top. AMAZING! Alexa even included enough spoons for us all to try/share the dessert! SO impressive! The service was prompt, friendly, and professional. The environment was clean, the temperature comfortable, and the jazz music was a great compliment to the enjoyable ambiance of the restaurant. I'm sure that if I lived local, this would be a place we would frequently visit! read more

Let me give you a word of advice Oreganos. When my wife orders hot wings to go to bring home to me, her husband, don't tell her to get the medium because the hot are too hot. Your employees don't get paid to tell me what I want to eat. And to top it all off your "hot" is medium at best. P.S the rest of the United States recognizes wings sold by the dozen. What's the deal with only 10 per serving. Thats over a $1 a wing. Pretty steep if you ask me. I will not be back. read more

4 for me. Salad was good as always. We shared a artichoch dip that was it's usual good self. Ran into trouble with the wedding soup. Over the years they have changed the recipe and tonight was more than likely the last night my wife will order that. The manager addressed the concern. When the cookie came out it was as if eating uncooked dough. Waiting for the the second attempt. Service is always good. Bring your appitite otherwise you'll leave with a doggie bag. Enjoy! The cookie is here and to perfection! read more

Bollo pasta is always my go-to. Sometimes the wait/lines are horrible especially in the heat. Still great food though.

Great service on a very large take out. It was ready on time. And still fresh and hot. Very friendly people

We've been to Oregano's before but this was the first time at this location. We were seated right away, no wait. Customer service was great! Our waiter, Jacob, greeted us right away and was attentive to our needs the entire time we were there. My husband had a meatball sandwich and I had the stuffed riga tony. Both meals were great! We would definitely visit this location again and ask for Jacob as our waiter! read more

Probably one of my favourite restaurants in Arizona, hands down! This location was surprisingly not as busy at 4pm so we were able to get seated immediately. Food was awesome and so was our server! She was quick & prompt with bringing our food & drinks. Twas my first time trying the Chicago pan pizza & it was DELICIOUS! My friend & I also ordered the wings & side of fries which were yummy as well! So happy with this trip... Will definitely be back to this location! We left with food babies! read more

I absolutely love Oregano's. They use the no-wait app which makes it great for putting name down without having to wait a long time at the restaurant. The pasta and deep dish pizza are fantastic. Make sure to stay for the pizookie, you will not regret it! read more

I haven't come here in awhile and now I remember why. Their take out orders take forever. Came to pick it up at my scheduled time and saw three people come and go with their orders before getting mine. Waited 30 minutes past my scheduled pick up time to get my food...I guess the reason was because the sandwich I ordered was what we were waiting on? read more

An excellent place to have lunch or dinner, service is usually fast, wait staff is friendly, and the food is just as delicious as you would expect from a fancy restaurant like this. I go here at least twice a month, often times more, and most of the time it's take out. Just call in, place an order, and by the time I get there it's ready for pickup. No hassle, just good food on demand. If you do sit down however, the restaurant's well themed on the inside and it's a great place to sit down and have a meal with anyone. The food its self is always well cooked, good flavor, and it's never made me sick. All the salads are delicious and unique, as are the pastas and pizzas alike. Typically, there's also enough for leftovers. The parking lot usually has plenty of open spots, and there are a couple dedicated spots for take-out orders right by the door. read more

Always a good option. Lots of great pizza options and sandwiches. Boom Dip is a must and the Shishito Peppers were awesome!

Ordered the Oreganos Favorite salad. it was awful, Lettuce was old, dry and some had brown edges. Told the waitress but she did nothing. No manager ever came to our table or did they offer to remove from our bill. I actually had an upset stomach after leaving there for the rest of the day. Very disappointing. I am not one to post reviews but felt I should after this experience. read more

Best pizza I've had in AZ... We got two deep dishes which is enough for a whole family x 2! It's even better the next day.

I have been to different Oregano's a few times. I was excited when this location opened a few years ago because it is close to where I live. They have grown on me. When I first heard about them I knew everyone raved about how good they were. I check out the menu and was unsure of the southwestern meets Italian cuisine but the more I try it the more I like it. The flavors are great and work really well together. The Big Rig Pasta is my favorite but I also like their pizza. For lunch you can get a huge slice for like $3. Their stuffed pizza is really good but since it is baked it takes awhile. About 45 minutes to an hour but you know it is fresh and it is so worth the wait. Only thing is it isn't too good cold. I love cold left over pizza but this just turns into a big congealed mess. So bring enough people to finish it off or heat it up if you take left overs home. I took my girlfriend here the other day for lunch. She had never been before. I was nervous because she is a really good Italian cook and therefore has high standards when it comes to Italian food. She was questioning the southwestern/Italian mix like I did. I was hoping she would like it and she did. Whew. She got the Italian grinder which she was glad was called a grinder and had real cappicola ham on it. She also had a few bites of my Big Rig Pasta and liked that as well. Good we can come back and try other things. We told the waiter that it was her first time there and had never had one of their pizza cookies so he gave us one for free. That was really cool. It was also really good. Nice and soft and warm with really good vanilla ice cream on top. I didn't know they had 3 different kinds but we got the regular chocolate chip. I will definitely be bringing her back here and tagging along with her. read more

This place is awesome. Great service, food, and lots of choices. Large portions which we loved. We'll be back!
