Everything was great tonight. The food and service were awesome. Our server had a table behind us that complained about the food. She tried her best to fix what was wrong. She even had the manager over to try to help. But no matter what they said or did it was not going to fix it. All they did was complain even about everything in life. I pray for them. We haven't been back in awhile due to the prices being raised so much it isn't worth it as the portions are smaller and pricing is higher, to bad bc the atmosphere and customer service is on point. read more

Ordinarily Oreganos is a standout in my opinion but this evening was a sad exception. We had the garlic cheese bread. It arrived at our table barely warm and not crispy and hot as normal. It had no garlic flavor whatsoever. We ordered the Lady is a Scampi with shrimp. It arrived tasting like Al dente pasta with zero flavor. Normally it has a great garlic and somewhat spicy pepper flavor that is wonderful. Normally the server brings a bowl of Parmesan cheese to put on main courses if desired. Not tonight. We'll be back but if tonight was my first visit, I'd look elsewhere in the future. read more

Went for lunch yesterday and got our usual order cause it's usually real good.. got the pizza slice and salad.. could tell it was sitting in back for a while cause it was cold and salad was kinda wilted.. first time I ever had nasty food there .. very disappointed .. was our favorite place for lunch.. sad that you can't find good help.. a different waitress finally brought our food out .. but by then it was gross.. the chicken on the pizza looked like they bought it at the deli.. picked it off and tried to eat it anyway but couldn't .. anyway we won't eat there again read more

I really enjoyed going to this place in downtown Gilbert. It was a perfect place for a Friday night with a toddler. The kids menu is nice and the pizzas are so good. The service was great and we loved the decoration and ambiance. read more

Chicago Pizza Oregano's How do you spell blech... CRISP HARD BURNT CRUST. (FYI it's supposed to be flaky like a pie crust not hard, it literally hurts to eat it, but you won't because it's burnt to a crisp black...) The only topping was sausage and ALL that was on there was sausage. I've NEVER had TOO much sausage on a pizza, THIS was globs and globs of sausage. There was TWICE as much sausage than cheese and CHICAGO PIZZA is supposed to be about the CHEESE. And the sauce was nothing but huge chunks of stewed tomatoes. And then the sausage wasn't even very good. I eventually picked most of it off, leaving next to nothing but a little bit of cheese and a soggy bottom... Still looking for halfway decent Chicago style pizza near West Mesa. I also got a steak salad, I was so excited. THERE'S NO FLAVOR none zip zilch in the meat. How do you cook steak/ROAST BEEF with no flavor, none? I understand you're supposed to drown it in their Italian dressing but why put meat on something if the meat has no flavor? Just extra money...lots... The restaurant seems nice, and I hope they're Italian food is better than their pizza. But, I won't be finding out... read more

We got calamari. It was in strips, but perfectly breaded and well prepared. Our grandsons's pizza by the was a good size portion made the way he likes it with pineapple and bacon. Our Diablo shrimp pasta had a good amount of spice. Plus the antipasto was large. Enough for several people. Our waitress was busy, but so attentive, especially to our grandson. Recently went here for dinner with my boyfriend while we were visiting family in the area - I don't normally take time to write reviews so you know a place is awesome if it gets me to write one! we absolutely loved it here. Our server Erica was beyond awesome, and super attentive, she recommended we try the dark Alfredo pasta - and I FREAKING LOVED IT! food is excellent, service is impeccable and the ambiance was perfect for a dinner date with my boo. We were in town for a baseball tournament & was able to break away for dinner, although had our little 1 with us, who happens to have ADHD. It's hard to find great service when you have children, much less one with "special" tendencies, AND it was st patty's day as well which is National no kids day to have fun lol! We chose Oreganos because it was close by and was completely blown away at everything this place offered. The wait was 5 min, which is amazing, they offered our little girl dough to play with and keep her occupied, which was super nice and thoughtful knowing it's hard to look at a menu and keep them from bein iPad/phone kids. The service we had from our waiter was on point, he'd see my husbands drink low and would bring another vs asking if we needed a refill, The food was phenomenal, and came out fast! I've never been to a restaurant where everything was amazing, the atmosphere, the service, the food, it truly is a 5* place! We will be back in May and this will def be a go to spot!!! This place is busy even on weeknights. The servers and hosts were nice if not a bit disorganized. Asked for things like napkins, drink refills, etc, and got about 1/3 of these things. Doesn't seem like the food runners were paying attention at all. Portions are quite generous here compared to like an Olive Garden, but it's not cheap either. Overall I would come back but maybe try to come before the rush or just for takeout next time. I do wish they had some kind of cauliflower crust pizza instead of just a gluten-free one which are usually terrible. read more

Done with this location. There's been a running joke in my family about what's going to be forgotten or wrong with our to-go orders. The last 5 times (ZERO exaggeration) it's been, at minimum, the salad dressing that's been forgotten. A Caesar salad without Caesar dressing? Come on guys. Other times, it's been issues like missing pizza toppings, wrong sides, wrong entrees, and the list goes on. Each time we ordered we thought, "No, it can't be like last time, can it?" I guess the consistency is ...good? Now, a question to the kitchen manager. Can you tell me what's in the attached picture? Is it an 18" cheese crisp? Surely, it can't be the 18" pepperoni and jalapeño pizza we ordered because it'd fill the 18" box it's in and also have pepperoni and jalapeño. I bet the box this thing came in tasted better than the junk inside it. Consistently far below par. Oreganos is generally a great place, but I'll take my family to the Flagstaff location before we go to this one, which is about 5 minutes from our house. read more

Oreganos is always good food but service is hit or miss. We did put our name on the wait list on Yelp since it was Friday evening, around 7pm. When we arrived, half of the restaurant was empty and we ended up waiting 15 mins. Probably cut too many servers too early. Once we got seated, we were seated at a high top table, which was not ideal for our family since we had a baby. We were going to ask for a highchair but it was pointless since he would be sitting UNDER the table. The food was good, but only as enjoyable as it could be while I was holding a baby. Server was friendly, food came out quickly. Overall was an average outing. read more

My husband and I had the worst experience at your location on Superstition Springs Blvd last night 12/31. I am 9 months pregnant so instead of being out and uncomfortable we decided to place a pick up order so we could relax at home while ringing in the new year enjoying your delicious food, which I had been craving and looking forward to all day. We put in our order at 3 pm - 1 pizza, and 1 pasta. When we arrived at 6:30pm to pick up the food my husband went inside and I stayed in the car. The cashier told him the food was almost ready and to just hang out for a few more minutes. 45 minutes later our food still wasn't ready but 5 other people had come to pick up their orders and left before my husband could leave your lobby. I realize that it was a busy night, being New Year's Eve and all, however we ordered ahead by almost 3 1/2 hours. I would expect that if the food was forgotten about and not made until we got there for that to be told to us so he didn't leave me waiting in the car in the parking lot for 45+ minutes while your staff did make our food. Instead he was lied to saying the food was almost done - TWICE. Clearly that was not the case. In this situation honesty would have gotten us a lot further. Instead, my husband received no more than an apology for it taking so long. Why was he not offered a refund or anything extra to our order for the inconvenience?? In addition, we then drove the 2.3 miles home, taking us approximately 7 minutes only to discover our food was COLD. Absolutely unacceptable. Needless to say my husband and I will not be back nor will we be telling our friends and family to go to your establishment. read more

My wife and I decided to give this place a try and was pleasantly surprised. It closely favors Buca di Beppo. Our server, Robin, was excellent and very knowledgeable of the menu items. Took my friend here for her birthday tonight. Usually a huge fan of oreganos. Sat at the bar, was greeted kindly and asked if I wanted a drink. Got a beer. Server was good to start. We ordered a salad, took a while for it to come out being a simple salad. Ordered our food and it took a lot more time than we normally thought it should (place wasn't busy.. or as busy) the food came it was cold and bland, asked for more sauce which then in return would have been better not asking because we waited over 10 mins for the sauce to come out. Ended up boxing our food up. Got the pizza cookie and those never fail. You could tell the server was having a tough night as the night went on. Multiple upset tables. I wasn't offered another beer or water for over 45 mins & was handed a check with out asking if we were ready for it. For a bill sitting at $80.00 truly was not satisfied at all. Which sucks cause that's a lot to money for two people... Service started out great and ended blah. She was more worried about being on the phone where multiple tables had to come up asking for their bill. Definitely expected more from this restaurant.
