Always wanted to eat here, heard how great it was and 'gotta try the pizza'. But geeze, total letdown for my pizza alone, completely surprised how flavorless it was. It was very bland, void of any flavor, even the garlic didn't taste garlicky at all, and nothing from the sauce or cheese. Not even the table oregano and peppers could save it. I basically just ate so as not to waste a $20 pizza. I had the thin crust with garlic, spinach and mushroom and can honestly say I'd never order pizza again here. My guest liked their pasta and chicken plate, however so I was really happy for that. They give big portions and the service was decent, as well as the atmosphere of cool visuals. Honestly can't recommend on the astronomical pizza letdown alone lol which is so strange because many people around me seemed to be dining for the pizza, I just don't get it though. read more

One of my absolute favorite places to eat over and over again. The deep dish pizza is unbelievable and their Caesar salad is one of my absolute favorites. I will always order the Italian sausage links on the side as well as the meatballs with the marinara. I feel like they've priced their entrées and their pizzas correctly And I will say that every waiter I've ever had has always been extremely nice and extremely helpful. We originally stopped somewhere else, turned around and walked out. SO glad we came here! It was a busy night and we were confused, walking in to the take out door. After we were directed to the correct spot, there was about a 30 minute wait. We finally got a table right by the entrance. The view was amazing, there are so many collectables from long ago, it was fascinating to look at everything. There is a real old world feel inside, and it was very welcoming. There was an old musical playing on one of the TV's and it was brought me back to a time when things weren't so complicated. Our server was amazing, he checked in on us regularly. I ordered a Dirty Monkey and the Stuffed Riga Tony, OMG, it was SO tasty!!! The portions are huge, and the garlic bread was delicious. I can not say enough good things about this place. I had gone to lunch there with a friend. It was delicious. Later in the day I realized I lost the main diamond in my wedding ring. Mediocre food with an astronomical & inconsistent table wait time. We check in online as directed & waited 20+ minutes over the estimated 37-45 minutes. According to the app, our 3 person party was next to be seated but the older male host sat 2 parties before we were finally called to be seated. Our server was great! They were short staffed but he didn't let it show. Our food came out shortly after it was ordered, however our pizza was very over done (see photo). What a shame. The ambiance was nice. The service was top notch! The food was the worst chain restaurant food we've had in a long time. My husbands chicken was a dark brown hockey puck and my pasta was under cooked and sort of like chewing a gummy bear. Stopped by here to meet with a friend as her first choice nearby had a long wait for an early dinner Friday evening. I was not a big fan of Oregano's for a long time, but once we started visiting the Flagstaff location frequently, they did earn my loyalty. Menu options have a good variety and prices are reasonable. Service has always been consistently from good to great across different locations. Not the best place to go to if you are trying to stay away from carbs, but we can't blame them :) Hubby and I ended up sharing a meal (Rigatoni plus sausage) and we were not disappointed. Our friend had the lasagna, which I keep forgetting to try. But it has gotten good reviews in our party when ordered. I think our server's name was Tara and she took good care of us. read more

This place has always been hit or miss. The service is spotty. Sometimes, you'll get be waiting half an hour for your food and it's not always served warm. The sandwiches leave a lot to be desired. Most of the salads, pizza, and pasta are pretty good when served correctly. read more

I love oreganos!!! They have the best service and unbeatable food. I wish it was a little less pricey but really I have no complaints.

The service was what made me take off a star here. The reason being is because our server was very well known in that area, specifically that oreganos restaurant. She was socializing with many big parties and many people she knew that we felt like we were on the back burner of her mind, especially my partner. It took her a long time to refill his drink or ask if he needed anything else without him pointing it out, which was a disappointment. My go to is the big rigatoni and I love it every time. My plus one is a big chicken Parmesan guy, and it always comes out right every Oreganos we go to. We will definitely return for the food, however, hopefully with a bit of better service next time. read more

I ordered a thin crust supreme on line for pick up. It was to be ready at 4:00. When I showed up it was ready waiting in a warming oven at the front counter. I'm not sure if crust was supposed to be soft and flimsy or if it got that way in the warming oven. If it is supposed to be like New Youk style crust, then it needs to be cut in triangles so it can be folded over. This was cut in little squawes so the toppings slid off while picking it up. That being said, the toppings were the best part of this pizza. They were fresh and plentiful. The sausage was perfecty seasoned. This was a good pizza, but not a great one. What a disappointment. I lived in Scottsdale for 30 years and every time we came back I had to have oreganos. We come and I was eager for their stuffed pizza. Pizza arrives and it's not stuffed. Surprisingly and annoyingly they don't serve it any more! What?!?!?! So, my husband eats the pizza and I order bowl o' pasta meat sauce. No meat just chunks of tomato. I will never be back. Our go to... the nemero one o deep dish pizza is my favorite of ANY pizza I've ever eaten. Every ingredient is fresh and perfect... meat, vegetables, cheese, crust. We also love the anti pasto salad, artichoke dip and even the side of restaurant made sausage (it's delish). My partner is a chef at a very upscale steak restaurant in Scottsdale, and this is the only pizza in Arizona he approves of. That's high marks. Eat here: you will not be disappointed. Yum! read more

Been several years since I've been to an Oregano's. Somethings haven't changed. If you order one of their heated sandwiches the bread comes out overly toasted and falls apart when you try to pick it up. The meat on the Italian sandwich (or whatever they call it) was plentiful, but rather meh (another thing that hasn't changed). This place seriously takes you back in time! We haven't been back since but it's often on our list as everything we ordered we're amazing and fresh, you can definitely taste the difference between store bought marinara and the real thing! Being a family of 5 with 2 little ones the staff was incredibly thoughtful and truly made you feel as if you were home (obviously with the exception of us being served and not having to wash dishes) but we chatted as if we sat around our own dining table and the low lights made it for a casual dining experience that's was great for families or a date night! Usually really like this place. Had the stuffed Rig Atoni and it was awful. It came out lukewarm at best, and the marinara was so thick it was like dried out tomato paste. I didn't finish it or take the leftovers home. The weird thing was, towards the end of the meal someone came by when we were checking out to ask if I had the stuffed rigatoni with a meat ball. I said yes, and she walked away with no other comment. Maybe they knew it was crap and they were checking to see if I was still alive. Such a horrible meal. Very enjoyable and feels extremely homey happy. - nice hostess - My waitress is already very nice towards me. She is well mannered and appearance maintained. - Fresh calamari nice and hot! Appetizing appearance too. Smells deliciously delightful. Calamari tasted light and fluffy, perfectly fried. I wish there was more seasoning to it but still very good with the side of marinara sauce and lemon squeezed. Overall good appetizer and very abundant. Big rig pasta. Very filling and very delicious. Not any crazy amount of flavor punch but not too little either. The sauce for this pasta has a hint of spice to it. Let's say it's very delicious as well I recommend a side of the sauce :) The meatball is cooked great. Not tough and not scary soft. Very juicy too, I recommend dipping it within the big rig sauce. Now don't get me wrong I love garlic bread but I do like my garlic bread with a crunch.. not sogging over and squishy. I tend to find that restaurants like for the physical appearance to place their bread on top of the food to the side. This makes bread soggy. I personally also like to take my pasta and put it on my bread and eat it too. Yes they are together making it "soggy" in the end but I would rather had a nice crunchy piece of garlic bread to go with my smooth pasta at once, not over the span of 5 min making the bread soggy with the pasta. Makes sense? Still good but for a better experience maybe the bread on the side would be better. Last the macadamia nut pizza cookie! This desert tastes soooo delicious! I definitely want to get this every time I come in and eat. The ice cream is cold and sweet, the cookie has that fresh baked flavor, crispy and soft! Very delicious 5 stars. Calamari I'll give a 4 star rating. Nothing to die for but very appreciated with the way cooked and tasted :) Big rig is a 5 star for me, such great blends of sauce and spice and overall meal. Extremely abundant! Makes for amazing leftovers :). Macadamia nut pizza cookie gets a 5 stars! Again the customers service was amazing too. Been wanting to try this place since I moved nearby a few months ago. Been to Oregano's in Tucson a few times over 5 years ago. Never thought it was all that. Well this place is all that. My friend & I went in, sat at the bar & Chris the bartender was awesome! Fast and friendly! Great atmosphere! Great drinks! Great food! This place looks to be very busy every time I drive by and now I know why. We went on a weekday early afternoon so it wasn't too busy. Saw lots of to go orders headed out the door while we were there. With so much good competition nearby this place really stands out among them. read more

We went to Oregano's the other day after passing the place about 20 times in the last 2 months. We were seated pretty much right away and asked to sit near the window instead of the wall. Out host said of course no problem. We were sitting there for a very short time and our server came and took our drink orders, came back with drinks and took our food order. We ordered quite a bit of food as we haven't been here in awhile. I had my favorite stuffed Italian sandwich and was not disappointed. We also ordered toasted ravioli which was really good. The wife had a salad and spaghetti. Everything was very good. Service was excellent and place looked great. Loved watching a little bit of Ozzie and Harriet too. Very Nice place.
