Bone in wings, Yahoo bbq and Italian gold

Gosh, I haven't been to Oregano for years. So glad we came here today. The food is really good. We ordered the garlic bread, the calamari, the wings(Italian Gold and Yahoo BBQ), and thin crust pepperoni pizza. The garlic bread with marinara sauce is delicious. The calamari is just right. The wings with ranch is super good. The pizza is also just the way I like it. Btw, Downtown Gilbert is so happening on a Saturday night!!

Decided to have lunch here as I've never dined here. I ordered the original Italian stuffed sandwich and upgraded to waffle fries. The sandwich also came with coleslaw that was really good! It was a very satisfying lunch. Wife ordered a mini pan pizza and she enjoyed it. Service was very nice and attentive. The atmosphere was enjoyable and can you believe they had fortune cookies! It was very cool!

It had been so many years since I've been here so decided to stop in during lunch hour. I like the warm and welcoming ambience and decor of this restaurant. They have a pretty good lunch menu Mon- Fri 11AM- 3PM. I ordered the build your own mini pan pizza with salami and sausage. Hubby ordered the original Italian stuffed sandwich from the regular menu- 1/2 lb of pepperoni, capicola and salami, topped with provolone and baked, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, green peppers, black olives, oil and vinegar, and dried oregano. He upgraded to waffle fries which were very good. The sandwich also came with cole slaw which was so tasty with a slightly sweet taste. My pizza was pretty tasty and very filling. I could only finish half of it so had lunch for next day. Service was very kind and attentive too.

I am a pasta fanatic and decided to try other places for pasta from time to time. Yes, I cook but, it's cheaper and more fun to eat at different restaurants unless my boyfriend cooks for me (wink). The food is good but I felt as if the could've been a little more cooked. I've gone here a couple times since this order and each time, in my opinion, the food is good.. not great but good.

If you're looking for a pan pizza with some homemade zucchini keep moving. But if you like a thin crust pizza baked in a pan that you have to eat with a fork and frozen zucchini then this is your place. The waitress asked how everything was, I mentioned I was expecting a pan pizza not a thin crust she explained I got exactly what I ordered a pan pizza, lol yikes. So there you have it, I must have completely missed the transformation of the deep dish pan pizza to a thin crust baked in a deep dish pan. One bite with my fork and I was done. I have now learned that a deep dish pan pizza is a thin crust pizza baked in a deep dish pan. my mistake.

We won the jackpot! Got a table in 10 minutes on a Saturday night! Lucky us! I was craving Alfredo the Dark! Love this dish! Full of creamy flavored poblano pasta topped with a grilled jalapeño. Yum yum. Total comfort food. I shared it with my husband. I tried the Mango Tango lemonade that was super delicious. Topped the night off with a pizza pie. Half chocolate chip / half peanut butter chocolate. Amazing! Thank You Oregano staff. (Yes the kitchen staff as well. It's often a thankless job but we appreciate each and everyone of you behind the scenes making masterpiece dinner plates!)

We tried Oregano, Gilbert on sunny Saturday in Gilbert! The ambience is incredible and old school Italian setting ! The food here is amazing! Highly recommend. The service was quick and easy.

Went to oreganos for my grandmas birthday and had a great time with great food! My grandma absolutely loves oreganos and she asks to go every year ! We got the margarita pizza, the Caesar salad, some breadsticks and another pizza as well and were very full with lots of leftovers, so make sure not to order as much as us unless you want days of leftovers. The service is always great and the ambiance is very welcoming and spacious. There usually is never a wait during the day, but at night there can be a little bit of a wait. Highly recommend.

That was one of the best meals I've had in a long time! Very delicious and service was great. I had the stuffed Riga Tony and the spinach artichoke dip

Jennifer made sure the jumbo wings were JUMBO and fresh, and same with The Lawrence pizza.

Fun casual vibe, great food selections, attentive and friendly servers keeps us coming back for more at this Oregano's in downtown Gilbert. Our favs: Jumbo Wings (dry rub and Italian Gold)), 1/2 lb sautéed broccoli or spinach, calamari, The Pablo Salad, The Lawrence pizza -- all hearty and so tasty. Thank you to the lovely servers who always make our experience extra enjoyable - Jennifer, Kaydin, Zach, Lindsay, and Kaydance at the welcome desk - you all simply are the BEST. We'll be back soon!!

Went for Mother's Day lunch today & it was pretty good. My service was amazing. The food was good. I just didn't need a whole pizza for myself ;) I must say the drinks will knock you on your butt ! Overall it's been years since I have been there & I was happy with the food in general. I was not over the moon for the spinach dip, but the dipping crust that came with it was really good. I did have cheese curds as well and they were cold, which I like them pretty hot . my husband was not impressed with the chicken Parmesan, as it had too much oregano & basil he said. Overall we will go back at some point and try it again.

Ummm, not sure the best way to write this review. They have a very enticing menu; a lot of dishes look like they have great potential, but unfortunately, the night we went, it was all pretty blah! Additionally, the service was also pretty mediocre. Friday evening dinner around 6 pm downtown Gilbert, wait for a table for 4 was just about 5-10 minutes. Initial glasses of water came fairly quickly, and then it went mostly downhill. Drink refills had to be requested several times, and even then, it was slow. All 4 of us looked at the menu thoroughly, decided what we wanted and laid our folded menu on the table, and still had to flag down our server to order. Food took quite a while to come out, and when it finally did, 2 of the dished were cold, and one of them came out wrong. The server did notice it was wrong, but by then, we were all so disappointed we just wanted to eat and leave. Oh yea, 3 came out with bread, and one didn't? All the dishes had plenty of food, it just wasn't that good. My Shrimp Caprese had half a dozen nice sized shrimp but zero flavor. It's possible, I'd give them another shot to try some of their pizza, but not on Friday evening - too many other great choices in that area.

The ambiance, the service, the wait time, the food -- everything was a 10/10! Would I recommend this spot? ABSOLUTELY. We will definitely be back! I ordered a pasta dish that our server told me was amazing. I've heard that at other restaurants before, only for the dish to arrive and be just... alright. But this one was everything she said it would be AND MORE! You could actually taste every individual flavor. It wasn't one big mashup where everything tasted the same -- each flavor made its own appearance and complemented the others perfectly. Easily one of those dishes you're still thinking about after you leave! The rest of our table ordered a little bit of everything, from pizza and chicken to seafood, and not a single dish disappointed. When they say FRESH! They mean it! They fresh drinks are amazing as well. They were also incredibly accommodating to the children in our group. They provided drawing tablets for the little ones, which was such a thoughtful touch and definitely appreciated by the parents! They also took the time to recognize both birthdays, which made our celebration feel even more special. Between the atmosphere, the service, the attention to detail, and food that genuinely lived up to the hype, North Italia completely exceeded my expectations. 10/10 experience and absolutely somewhere I'd recommend -- whether you're celebrating something special or just looking for a really good meal. We'll definitely be returning! Glad that a random selection just became a staple restaurant.

The floor space in the original side is greatly improved by the repositioning of the bar to the adjacent expansion. The new bar has a full length salt water aquarium with a few fish to start. A salt water aquarium is a major undertaking that must be done gradually to succeed but this looks like an amazing start. The food continues to be delicious with the addition of multiple items in almost every course. We started with the Burrata, Prosciutto and Bruschetta. Each component was delicious. For the main course, I had the Chicken Milanese which is served at the table with the sauce and cheese being slid onto the crispy breaded Chicken cutlet and a side of spaghetti. My wife had the perfectly cooked Chilean Sea Bass and the perfect accompanying glass of wine suggested by the owner, Nikola. My son-in-law had a new dish, the beef wellington. It was also exactly as he likes it, medium rare and super tender. For desert, we had the canoli. The service was excellent yet not intrusive. Best wishes on the new expansion Nikola. The prices are also definitely on the higher end across the menu. I don't think I've ever seen a Beef Wellington priced at $94 and the Cacio E Pepe was $42 with no protein! The table side cooking presentations were also extremely underwhelming and they leave them out and cover the cheese wheel with a towel which definitely ruins the anticipation. The service was also disappointing. Our waiter was new but kept using that as an excuse to everything that went wrong and they forgot every single thing we requested (butter for the bread, chili flakes for the pasta) & we had to ask others for it. We also made reservations online and it wasn't stated that we'd be sitting outside and patio dining isn't my preference in AZ in September.
