My new favorite AYCE sushi spot! My boyfriend and I wanted to check out a new AYCE restaurant & chose Orange Fish due to the reviews. This restaurant did not disappoint and we're glad we made the trip from Tustin. We were greeted very warmly by the hostess, which we really appreciated and it put us in a great mood even before starting the meal. For AYCE, you order through an iPad (which was super convenient) and they provide you with a menu that breaks down the ingredients. Their premium items were excellent and very fresh. They even had jelly fish, which is incredibly unique and we enjoyed every bite. For the rolls, they were cut into 4-5 pieces, which gives you the ability to try more items. Huge plus! All rolls were well balanced and full of flavor. Nigiri was the perfect size & portion. Quality was superb. Ambiance was calm & relaxing. Very modern asian decor. Love it! We'll definitely be back for some amazing sushi again soon.

I took my daughter here because she got good grades but this is also a very nice spot for dates or just a night out. It has an upscale vibe inside but with decent pricing. The all you can eat menu is top tier! I was able to get everything I wanted without having to nickel and done everything. With tip everything came out to $100 for two people but it was well worth it. The service was great and the sushi was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.

We wanted to give another AYCE place a try and think we found our favorite spot. Price of AYCE is $36.99 a person. Parking can get little busy but we were able to find one behind the restaurant by the housing area. Walked in and server will ask if you are doing AYCE or al la carte. They will explain if its your first time dining there. Certain "premium items" are one time only per person. But those are always the best quality. The day of our visit blue fin tuna was good but their regular tuna was not as good as I anticipated. Its my favorite fish but I had to switch to yellowtail for the night. Rice ratio is good and sushi was cut pretty big pieces. I do like it when places use rice machine otherwise they will try to fill you up with too much rice under the nigiri. Overall experience was good and I don't know how long they will be doing the beer specials but we were abel to get a glass of Asahi for $3.50. I feel like compared to other places they definitely have little more options like fries. Although I love fries I didn't want my stomach to get filled up with fries lol Workers were super friendly and they food surprisingly came out super fast compared to other AYCE spots. They do time you 90 minutes and you can see your time left on the tablet.

I would have posted more pictures but i got so caught up eating i forgot to take them I LOVE sushi. I generally dislike AYCE sushi because you really are letting go of the quality for a cheaper price point. If i do get ayce, i normally go to x-fish. But i just moved job locations to San Dimas and like any good yelper, you're gonna scout the area and see what's up lol This page popped up on my search and i was surprised how good the reviews were! I immediately hit up my friend and we made plans to check it out. The place is located in an apartment/business center, meaning if you live there you can walk out and get food (super jealous) the parking was okay. I bet it's a pain if it's the weekend and busy but we went pretty early on a Sunday. The inside is decently sized. Not super big, not super small. You're given the choice of Ayce or normal menu. We always had to go AYCE. For the premium you get a set amount based on the number of people you have. I wanna say it's 2 pieces per person but i could be wrong. We obviously got all the premium stuff? The scallops were honestly my favorite! I was i had been able to order more but the rest of the sushi was great ! We also got some of their appetizers and fried stuff and it was all great. A good sushi place will have good crispy tuna rice and good baked mussels; if they don't... RUN lol The staff is very nice and you get to order on an iPad so it kinda saves the hassle of flagging people down. I like that music isn't loud and you can have a decent conversation with people and not feel like you have to yell to talk to each other. Overall a solid location, I'll definitely be coming back and redeeming myself with the pictures

Stopped in for dinner with a couple of friends. We were there kind of close to closing, but we're welcomed in with very friendly service! The restaurant is a good size and can definitely fit a nice crowd. They have a bar that people can sit at and plenty of flat top tables. They offer an AYCE menu, but we weren't hungry for that, so went with ordering a la carte. The menu includes a ton of sushi, Ramen, and Bento box type diner combos. We ordered gyoza, takoyaki, Ramen, and some diner combos with Karaage, katsu, teriyaki and california roll. Everything was really good! The price was in line with what I expected. I'm so glad to have this new addition to the neighborhood!

There is a great selection of sushi here and the regular all-you-can-eat menu had plenty of delicious options. We really enjoyed the variety of the rolls and the classic nigiri was fresh and flavorful. I will be sure to upload all the photos of what we tried because the presentation was also quite nice. My first impression was a bit confusing because I was asked to choose between the premium or regular tiers before I even saw a menu. I would have appreciated a physical menu or a chart to compare the two options first, but since I couldn't see the differences, I just stuck with the regular menu. The staff is very friendly and they do a great job of checking in on the table and keeping things moving. However, the ordering is done entirely through a tablet system mounted to the edge of the table. You handle all of the orders and modifications yourself on the screen. I usually tip between 20% and 22% when I go out, but it feels a bit high when there is so little server interaction. In this specific setup, the sushi chefs are clearly doing the bulk of the work. I really hope they are getting a generous tip out at the end of the day because the food they prepared was the highlight of the meal. It is a solid spot for sushi, but the service model and menu layout could be a little more transparent for first-time guests. I will definitely try it again and go there with more knowledge of their service structure.

This was honestly one of the nicer all-you-can-eat sushi spots we've been to, especially for the price. The quality of the fish really stood out compared to other AYCE places we've tried. Everything tasted fresh, and the sushi itself was well prepared instead of feeling rushed like it sometimes does at buffets. One of the highlights for me was the mussels & the rolls --they were absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. It was one of those dishes we kept going back for. The variety was great, the food kept coming out fresh, and the overall experience felt worth the price. The wait time wasn't bad--about 15 minutes--and you can easily sign up on the kiosk when you arrive. Ordering is done from a tablet at the table, which makes everything simple. Service was quick and friendly throughout. Overall, great quality for a reasonable price and we'd definitely come back. If you're looking for a reasonably priced AYCE sushi place with surprisingly good quality, this is definitely a spot I'd recommend. We really enjoyed our visit and would happily come back again.

Good AYCE. Glad there is Finally one in the area! The Hostess Rose was very nice. Explained the menu thoroughly. Service was good during 80% of the time we dined there. Items came out fairly quickly. Towards the end, service got slower. Waters were not refilled. It took a while to get the bill. Only thing I didn't like was that they recommended for us to try the fresh wasabi but did not mention that it would be an extra charge. We were given two dishes and when the bill came, we were charged for both. Also, we were told that we couldn't have any leftovers. The hostess mentioned one roll maximum is ok. However, one of the servers, one that did not assist us at all during our stay, said that every piece of sushi/ item had to be eaten before we could receive the bill and check out... OR we would be charged. We had about two pieces left and a piece of fried chicken left. That would have been ok at other establishments.

Wow! One of my Yelpies recommended this spot, and it was absolutely phenomenal. Easily some of the best AYCE sushi I've had! We were greeted right away by a super friendly host. After being seated, she clearly explained the AYCE process, ordering is done through a tablet, and you have a 90 minute window to enjoy as much sushi as you'd like. We tried a variety of rolls, including the Alaskan, Dragon, and Philly, and every single one was fresh and delicious. Everything came out quickly, and the quality was consistently delicious. If you're craving sushi, this place is definitely worth it, we'll absolutely be back!

Definitely my new go to AYCE sushi spot. I've been twice in the last couple of weeks and both times was just super impressed. I love the quality of the fish, the fish to rice ratio, the selection, the real/fresh wasabi, etc... If you like all you can eat sushi, trust me, this is the place.

I love this restaurant. We've brought so many people with us to enjoy their food and we won't stop! The staff is wonderful - Vivie, Igna, Indra and the rest of them - make it so hard to stay away. Their service is unparalleled. They are attentive without hovering and always, always treat us like family. The fish they use is obviously premium. Fresh and delicious. And it's priced so competitively so much so that it's replaced us going to Tokyo Central to buy sushi grade fish because going to Orange Fish is so much cheaper. Forget about Sugarfish - for the same price you can do the AYCE at Orange Fish instead! Glad to see that business is picking up. When we went today, we noticed that it was a full house by noon. Goes to show how people will show up for you if you provide them with excellent service and delicious food at reasonable prices.

great customer service here , we walked into the restaurant about an hour till closing and they said no more AYCE. We were numbed because that's what we came in for and they accommodated us and let us order from the AYCE menu which was super cool of them. the service was excellent everything came out in a timely manner it was cute Inside and I was pleased with the food. fish tasted fresh and well prepared... I loved he truffle salmon and spicy tuna crispy rice ... check them out !

Orange Fish in Pomona seriously impressed us. We came in for the AYCE and it was one of the most affordable AYCE options in the area and some of the best quality sushi we've had around here. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were generous, and each round came out with consistency. The fish had great texture, the rolls were put together well, and nothing felt rushed or sloppy. Serenity was our server and she really lived up to her name with the amount of peace she brought to our meal. Will definitely be back!

    Do you need reservations?

Nope! Walk ins are welcome :) but if you come during peak hours, be prepared to wait.

I've been to other Sushi restaurants where the music is overbearingly loud, does this place have loud music playing the entire time you're there?

No loud music. 🥰 The owners/management make sure that the music is audible but doesn't drown out conversation.

There are limited booth seating (about 4 booths), one larger table, and roughly a dozen counter seats. We were a party of 4 with another group of 3 expected at the counter, so we were told next availability would be 7pm. But the owner (also the sushi/master chef) stepped in and offered to squeeze in an extra chair for us at the bar. We happily said yes, and that pretty much set the tone for the night. The ambiance is a cute, homey Japanese-style spot. It's calm and quiet enough to actually have a conversation, which I really appreciated. The owner was also cracking jokes throughout the night and kept everyone entertained, which made the experience feel even more personal. Food highlights: * Eihire (seared stingray fin) - 9/10. Great drinking snack, just wish there was more. * Grilled Angus beef tongue - 9/10. Tender with a really good jalapeño sauce. * Hokkaido uni tray with roasted nori - 10/10. Favorite dish of the night, easily. * Chicken liver, gizzard, and hearts in sweet soy - 10/10. Super rich and flavorful. * Whole grilled seabass - 9.5/10. Perfectly cooked, but could've used more ponzu. * Sous vide + grilled duck breast - 8/10. Solid, especially with salt and hot mustard. The mashed potatoes and roasted veggies on the side were . * Deep fried eel with ponzu - 7/10. Decent, but didn't stand out compared to the other dishes. * Sashimi (amberjack, hamachi, toro, sweet shrimp) - overall great. The sweet shrimp and fried head were 10/10, but the hamachi didn't quite match the rest. Also wish they gave more ginger upfront. * Roasted 5 kinds of vegetables - 7/10. Tasty but a bit pricey for the portion. * Sea snail - the only dish we wouldn't reorder. Not bad, just not our preferred style. Service was excellent. Our server gave great recommendations, kept our water filled, and checked in often without being overbearing. This is a 5-star spot largely because of the owner. Super down to earth, funny, and clearly passionate about both the food and the experience. Parking is free in a shared lot with other businesses. It's a decent size, so should be manageable. Definitely recommend making a reservation (they only take phone reservations)... but even if you don't, there's a good chance they'll still find a way to take care of you. I'd definitely come back to try more dishes.

There is a physical Drink menu (sake, beer, etc.) and the food menu can be viewed by scanning a QR code with your phone. The waitress made suggestions about which dishes she personally liked & we ordered whatever she suggested, along with some of the things we thought looked good. *7/10 Toro w/ seaweed *8/10 Moriwase (chef's selection of sashimi) 2 each of 5 different sashimi. There was one cut I did not particularly care for. *7/10 chicken wings *10/10 Beef tongue-- Tender, but firm. It was so good, that we ordered two! The only reason that I only gave it a four out of five stars is because the service was slow. All of our dishes, came out in time, but no drink refills were given and the server never came back to collect our check for payment. So we had to walk it up to them ourselves. For a small space, with three servers, it shouldn't be hard to attend to all the customers. The menu can be pricey, but food is delicious! Along with exceptional service, eating here is worth it.

The signature chicken wings came out dry & overcooked, and the chicken skin was super crispy almost like air-fried chips -- personally I prefer chicken skin freshly grilled with a softer texture. The beef tongue skewers were sliced too thin, and okra were dry. Service was understandable for how busy they were, but it could be hard to flag someone down during peak dinner time. Overall, I'd say the food quality was okay but not the best skewers I've had, especially at around $50 per person for our group. Still, it's a convenient and lively place for late-night skewer gatherings with friends if you're in the area.
