I want to say that the theater holds maybe 75-100 people...? Comfy seats and every seat is a great view. Prices are great, our last show was $39 each. The actors are fun and you can tell they absolutely love doing what they do. They are there to make everyone happy including themselves and their fellow castmates. There is a bar with drinks and snacks, we've even seen shirts for sale! We are considering purchasing a "B Season Pass" so we don't miss out on the shows this coming year, some sell out fast! I hate to even give a great review because I don't want people to buy up all the seats from under us, but yet I want to also give this theater a huge and happy round of applause for being FANTASTIC!! We will see you again soon! Cheers!

Everyone is amazing and gracious in spite of doing this over and over and I'm certain no two shows are the same. I would only change one thing and that is that the theater request all guests to have a slight bit of theater etiquette. I understand this is an audience friendly show with interactions between cast and audience, some of these families do not prepare their children for how to behave nor correct inappropriate behavior during the performance. At last night's show a young boy hit "Billy" so hard with the stuffed rabbit that his glasses flew into my lap 5 feet away. We noticed "Billy" had a band aid on the rest of the show. Whether that was a joke or real, the boy should have been reined in by his parents long before because he was also talking or shouting out through the performance. The cast handled it with ultimate professionalism and rolled with the "punches" as it were. This truly shows how amazing they all are and why The Maverick is a great place to see a show. Now if they would just do Clue on stage again ;-)

There's a two item minimum per person, which is not a huge requirement. The two hours show went by quickly because the comedians were super funny and kept us laughing from beginning to end. The revenue was very clean and there's free parking available on the street, and well as at the rear parking structure. Since it's located in the heart of downtown Covina, there's a huge selections of bars for you to kill time before & after the show. Laugh Factory is definitely a 8/10!

They're always present, always on it, and they run a tight ship while still keeping the vibe fun and welcoming. The lineups are consistently strong and it's become one of the best spots for a night out when you just want to relax and laugh. The room has great energy and the shows are well paced, so there's never a dull moment. Yes, there's a two-drink minimum, but that's standard for comedy clubs and the prices for drinks and food are right in line with what you'd expect at a live show. Totally fair for the experience you're getting and it helps support the performers and the venue. Shoutout to Jamie at the Hollywood location too. Same level of professionalism and execution. Both venues do a great job and it shows they know what they're doing across the board, including the Las Vegas location. Everyone needs more laughter and this place delivers. Definitely check it out if you're looking for a fun night with good comedians and a well-run show.

PARKING When I purchased concert tickets, I had the option to add prepaid parking. Check to make sure you have that option too because it was a quicker process. SECURITY I felt secure here. There is a size limit on bags/purses so be sure to follow the instructions. I used a mini clear bag to hold my phone and wallet. VENUE, SEATING & SOUND SYSTEM I liked the size of this venue. It was smaller so anywhere you sit is a good view. The seats were cushioned chairs held together by zip ties. And while the seating map appeared to be in sections, it is all on one floor with an incline. As a musician, I was really bothered by the sound system. I'm not sure if it's an in-house sound tech but they really didn't balance the instruments and singer's volume. Perhaps a more thorough sound check was needed IMO. FOOD, DRINKS & MERCH They sold food and drinks at the venue. What I saw people eating here were popcorn. Since I got to the venue early, I walked across the street to get something to eat. Across the street there are casual dining options like Panda Express, Carl's Jr, and Chipotle to name a few. I chose the latter. I picked up some merch before the show started to avoid any rush after the concert. I'm not sure what pay methods they take but I used my card and it was a quicker process transaction. RESTROOMS The restrooms were clean and well-maintained. I made sure to use the women's restroom before the show started and I'm glad I did because there was a long line after the show ended. Overall, the Grove of Anaheim is a smaller venue on a single floor plan with high ceilings, could-be-better sound system, cushioned chairs, and great lighting. I don't mind returning to watch another show here. It was very enjoyable.

If you're not seated in the first tier, the seats are banquet chairs that have been tied together. Restrooms were clean. The water coming out of the sink was surprisingly warm. You are not allowed to bring a bag in larger than 5"x9"x2" - they do enforce this limit, as I saw people returning to their cars with their bags. They do not accept cash for parking. You can either buy your parking ahead of time online (which I think is cheaper) or use a credit card when you get there. The theater is kind of generic inside, but you're there for whomever is on stage, not the decor. Overall, not a bad place to see a concert.

We've seen big acts like George Lopez all the way to new talent and drag shows. There are big headliners and fun events constantly. Every single one of the events I've been to has been a hit (except one, he was not nearly as funny as on SNL, but that's not Brea Improv's fault). Food is ok, it is not fantastic, but it works. Mainly people are eating just so they don't drink as much. There is a 2 item minimum, so for us non-drinkers, we've had the food more than the alcohol. But the 2 items goes for anything. Pretzel is warm and would be great but gets dried out, still not a bad option if you dip in mustard. Fried pickles are also a fun choice. Salads are pretty good too. Pretty much bar food for meals; sliders, burgers, tacos, pizza. As long as you aren't expecting gourmet, you're good. Desserts are fantastic. Service is actually pretty great considering there are a lot of drinking, crazy people all over the place. You can order through the app and have it delivered, as well, so that comes in handy. One of our most recent favorites was our visit to see the Schitt's Creek Drag Show Brunch. SO MUCH FUN!!! We laughed so much and enjoyed the "ladies" and the cast to the fullest, our bills were a'flyin'!! And our emcee, Epiphany Kali, was gorgeous and completely entertaining!! Parking is easy, there are neighborhoods all around, parking garages, and parking lots. Birch Street area is wonderful for parking, even if you need to walk a bit, it's a breeze and free. Prices are really very decent and you also can enter to win tickets for upcoming shows. Hey, the more people the more laughs, right? Definitely worth it to check out the line-ups often, you'll find someone or some event that either piques your curiosity or floats your boat. Cheers!!

It's located in Irvine Spectrum so there are a lot of places to stop by before or after the show. Line management has been fairly organized every time I went. It gets a little crowded when you end up seated anywhere else but the booths and barrier. I also feel like I'm straining my neck looking at the stage since the table seats are facing perpendicular to the stage as opposed to towards it. There is a two order minimum, but the food has been decent. Got some shrimp tacos and shared nachos with my party when I went. Overall a good time, but ergonomically a bit uncomfortable. The entertainment far outweighs everything else though, so this will remain my go-to stand up spot.

Servers take your order and provide a service. These people literally just bring your food. They will charge you $15 for a refillable iced tea. Laughable. Enjoy that and your soggy quesadilla. Then you can expect your food runners to come out before the show is over and completely interrupt while you're trying to enjoy the end of the show. They will spin a tablet around at you that has a 20% tip automatically added and harass you into signing while you're trying to watch the end of the comedian you paid for. Word of advice. Close your tab out online before they have this opportunity. Then you can tip appropriately and enjoy the end of the show without being interrupted. Although you will have to listen to them harass everybody around who did not know this tip. Super fun. Highly recommend taking the opportunity to see comedians at Sofi, the forum, and any other venue where there is no minimum requirements for purchase and you order standing up, therefore not be harassed until leaving a 20% tip for no service.

With doors opening about an hour before the concert, the GA line tends to be longer than expected, and most of the venue is standing-room-only unless you opt for "premium" price for seats. Even so, the "standing only" crowd is usually respectful, and despite the tight space, the atmosphere stays fun. But, for short folks like myself, can be a major disadvantage as crowds beginning to move toward the front and blocking the view. From a concert going perspective, wear comfortable shoes is best as you're standing through the two+ hours. The ventilation is okay so you could get warm fairly quickly. Plus, there's four bar stations throughout the venue so there's no shortage of drinks for purchase (snacks are available, too). Overall, I like that the parking garage is attached to the HOB along with many other shops. HOB representatives also offered discounts parking -- so you pay $8 for unlimited parking (rather than $4/hour).
