Tired of A's, Ocean 48, and the rest of the same o'l restaurants, don't get me wrong they are good places, but wanted something different and boy were we surprised. Domenico the owner runs a very intimate setting and is also a great entertainer, he sings and has two band members playing Sax and the other on the piano, think frank Sinatra, dean Martin, etc. engages the crowd and just a great time. We came in at 7 and shut the place down, it's that entertaining!! Now the food is spectacular, great pasta all made in house, the starters were exceptional: arancini stuffed with braised short rib, carpaccio like you've not had before, we had a 25oz ribeye that was cooked perfectly, what can I say, it was a 10/10 for our party of 5 celebrating an amazing birthday.

The owner, Domenico, not only gives a masterclass in hospitality every night, but he truly is a warm and generous man who will ensure that your evening is special. He treats everyone as family. He provides live entertainment every night (rare anywhere these days), and when he gets up on stage, he sings from his heart wiith a talented charm and love for music. The chef, Carmelo, is a young master. His food is excellent and if there is a special...try it! He puts his heart and soul into his dishes. The staff follows in Domenico's footsteps and, even when the night gets busy, they treat us like family and ensure our night is the best. The entertainment last night was the duo of Marcelo on guitar, and Walter on saxaphone. Both are talented, seasoned professionals and gentlemen whom we have come to know and appreciate. From rock, to jazz, merenge to George Benson, they kept the vibe going all night. Obviously, I can't recommend spending your evening at Red Room enough! It's a rare gem.

I want to say that the theater holds maybe 75-100 people...? Comfy seats and every seat is a great view. Prices are great, our last show was $39 each. There is a bar with drinks and snacks, we've even seen shirts for sale! We are considering purchasing a "B Season Pass" so we don't miss out on the shows this coming year, some sell out fast! I hate to even give a great review because I don't want people to buy up all the seats from under us, but yet I want to also give this theater a huge and happy round of applause for being FANTASTIC!! We have also been there for seated dinner style events with Chef's and it has been amazing as well. Last night my Mom and I attended the 40th anniversary screening of the movie Clue and it was amazing! There were rows of seats and I felt we had a good amount of leg room and the seats were not the most comfortable but they worked well for the amount of time we were seated. It was so much fun, the audience was involved and we had a Q&A beforehand which was neat to learn some background of the movie. The venue has plenty of seating out in the happy hour area where you can grab a drink and snacks. Prices were reasonable, popcorn, pretzels, movie snacks, as well as more sufficient foods like pizza, flatbreads, and burgers. Parking is fairly easy in and out. We were coming in just as Angel Stadium was getting out (and it was packed Angel's vs. Dodgers) but entry was still seemless. Great venue, awesome people, and an overall amazing event last night!!!

Parking was easy--we skipped driving around looking for a spot and parked in the structure directly across the street. Best of all, parking was free. We had general admission tickets, which required a two-item minimum purchase per person. Since we arrived close to showtime, we ended up seated toward the back. We could still see the stage, but the lower table section definitely offers a better view. The food was decent--pricey, but decent. You can either order through a server or scan a QR code and order from your phone. Our server recommended ordering through her, but after waiting quite a while for a beer, I switched to ordering online. Since all they really had to do was bring the food out, I tipped 15%. We ordered the sliders with fries and the chicken quesadillas, both of which were good. Our other two items were a beer and bottled water. I also noticed other guests ordering burgers and desserts, which looked pretty good. The overall design is very similar to the Irvine location. The restrooms were nice, but they were a bit messy because the seat-cover dispensers were difficult to use. There were pieces of paper covers scattered around several stalls. Other than that, the bathrooms were fine. We came to see Tumua, and I'm glad this was the venue where we finally got to see him perform. Great location, good atmosphere, and I'm happy we got the chance to check out this Improv.

Entertainment: 5/5 Food/Drinks: 3/5…read more I caught a comedy show on a Wednesday night so it was not packed. I'd say it was under 100 people so we only filled up the first section of the seating area. We caught Comedy Confidential hosted by Steve Fury. It was an interesting show because once we sat down there was a paper and pencil for each person. We were asked to write down one secret, any secret, and they worked it into the show. There were four other comedians and they took turns picking out the secrets from a bucket. Once each comedian picked their favorite, they invited whoever's secret it was to come on stage and answer some of their questions in a panel-style format. It sounded kind of weird at first but it was HILARIOUS! I would definitely catch another comedy show here, we had a blast. With your ticket, you are required to purchase two items (food and/or drinks) so we saved our appetite. We ordered the mini burgers, boneless wings, Caesar salad, mozzarella sticks, and nachos. There were mixed reviews across the group for each items. Mini Burgers - Lacked flavor and salt. Wings - Can select up to two sauces, and they only come in the side and are not tossed into the wings. Wing flavors were okay but I didn't like that we had to dip it separately. Caesar Salad - It was drenched in dressing. Ask for it on the side. Mozzarella Sticks - Solid cheese pull and the marinara sauce was good (3/5). Regular Nachos with Shredded Cheese - My friend loved the nachos. I would say grab some dinner at any of the other spots in downtown Brea and purchase drinks at the Improv to fulfill the two item minimum.

They checked our IDs quickly and gave us our wristbands since we had VIP seating, which made getting in super easy. I probably wouldn't recommend VIP seating if you're coming specifically to watch a comedy show. The way the tables are laid out, you can end up with a seat where you're constantly twisting your neck to see the stage, and after a while your neck and back can definitely start hurting. I actually think sitting a little farther back would be a better experience (and it's usually cheaper too). Unless you're hoping to be part of the crowd work, you really don't need to be right up front to enjoy the comedians. The food had a great variety, but the drink menu completely blew me away. I've honestly never seen a drink menu that impressive before. It was rows and rows of drinks I didn't even know existed. I kept joking, "I bet they have this," and every single time they actually did! They even had things like a Scooby Snack drink and Green Tea shots. Even though you order through a QR code, you can search for just about any drink you can think of, which I thought was really cool. I ordered the Strawberry Piña Colada mocktail, and it was absolutely delicious. It was a little sweet at first, but honestly, as the ice melted and it watered down throughout the show, it tasted even better. The only thing that took me out of the experience a little was the table service during the show. The servers come by to take orders and deliver drinks while the comedians are performing, so it can interrupt your focus for a moment and make you lose track of what the comedian was saying. I can't really blame the staff since they're just doing their jobs, but it is something to keep in mind if you're easily distracted. For anyone wondering about the air conditioning, I went in August 2026 when it was over 100 degrees outside. The front area before you walk into the showroom doesn't really have air conditioning since the doors are open, so it feels pretty warm. Once you're inside the showroom, the air conditioning is very cold. I was really glad I brought a jacket because it got chilly during the show. Overall, it was a really fun experience with great drinks, good food, and an easy check-in process. I'd definitely come back, but next time I'd skip the VIP seating and choose a seat farther back for a more comfortable view.
