We had a party of 7 and everyone had so much fun! Everyone was great! We loved watching the actors/performers/comedians do their show improv! The setting is small but felt like a cozy feel. It was all of our first times going and we thoroughly enjoyed it and laughed so much! We'll be back!

I really enjoyed our experience here at the show, it's a great place to come for a unique date night. They offer an earlier showing that is family friendly, and a later one that is "rated R". Tickets to the shows are relatively inexpensive, and they put on special themed events from time to time. It really is amazing to see what the actors are capable of. The games they play are really fun, and audience is able to participate by offering suggestions for all of the games. They also have a couple of games where the audience members can participate more and possibly get on stage, but don't worry you have to volunteer, so feel free to sit in the front without fear of being pulled up. I actually participated and got a little prize/treat for it. There is canned alcohol available for purchase as well as a snack bar. Snacks tend to be more like chips and candy. The staff was really friendly, and the place had some cool photos on the wall and cool bathrooms. Street parking available. Overall a great night at a locally Owen spot in Old Town Tustin.

ImprovCity was honestly a vibe. I went to the 9:30 uncensored show (first time ever going to improv) and it was way funnier than I expected. The cast was sharp and kept the jokes coming. The crowd was really into it and they actually involved us, which made it even better. Felt like everyone was just there to have a good time. It's a small venue, but still super cool--more interactive and chill. The energy was solid the whole time. Tickets are usually $18 per person, but we got the college student discount and paid $15 each. They also have discounts for military and seniors, so it's really not expensive at all. Great spot for a date night if you want to switch it up. Good laughs, good vibes. A solid gem in Tustin.

Amazing entertainment- the wife and kids all love it (7:30 pm shows are PG13). Keep up the great work Devin and the gang!!

I am terrified of being put on the spot, however, I wanted to challenge myself and step outside of my comfort zone. The Monday drop in improv class was my first experience with improv, and it was actually fun (once you get over the stage fright) and educational. The attendees had various levels of experience -- many of them were repeat customers, some of them were also attending for the first time [like me], and all of them were kind and encouraging. Would definitely try this class again! Would also love to watch one of their shows here sometime. Parking: lot behind the class (drive up the ramp on the left, walk down the stairs near the gazebo). Street parking available as well.

I took the Improv 101, 201 and 301 courses with a bunch of skilled actors who were all impressed by the quality of the courses. On a personal level the courses helped me feel more comfortable expressing myself to others. I love watching shows here, especially on the weekends as their 9:30 shows are a great activity to do on a late Friday or Saturday night. Good vibes, great atmosphere and a lot of laughs.

If this is your first time or you are visiting I recommend arriving early as the Spectrum is a large area, pay for VIP tables and sit up front, and order food before the show starts so you're not chowing down and unexpectedly laughing. They checked our IDs quickly and gave us our wristbands since we had VIP seating, which made getting in super easy. I probably wouldn't recommend VIP seating if you're coming specifically to watch a comedy show. The way the tables are laid out, you can end up with a seat where you're constantly twisting your neck to see the stage, and after a while your neck and back can definitely start hurting. I actually think sitting a little farther back would be a better experience (and it's usually cheaper too). Unless you're hoping to be part of the crowd work, you really don't need to be right up front to enjoy the comedians. The food had a great variety, but the drink menu completely blew me away. I've honestly never seen a drink menu that impressive before. It was rows and rows of drinks I didn't even know existed. I kept joking, "I bet they have this," and every single time they actually did! They even had things like a Scooby Snack drink and Green Tea shots. Even though you order through a QR code, you can search for just about any drink you can think of, which I thought was really cool. I ordered the Strawberry Piña Colada mocktail, and it was absolutely delicious. It was a little sweet at first, but honestly, as the ice melted and it watered down throughout the show, it tasted even better. The only thing that took me out of the experience a little was the table service during the show. The servers come by to take orders and deliver drinks while the comedians are performing, so it can interrupt your focus for a moment and make you lose track of what the comedian was saying. I can't really blame the staff since they're just doing their jobs, but it is something to keep in mind if you're easily distracted. For anyone wondering about the air conditioning, I went in August 2026 when it was over 100 degrees outside. The front area before you walk into the showroom doesn't really have air conditioning since the doors are open, so it feels pretty warm. Once you're inside the showroom, the air conditioning is very cold. I was really glad I brought a jacket because it got chilly during the show. Overall, it was a really fun experience with great drinks, good food, and an easy check-in process. I'd definitely come back, but next time I'd skip the VIP seating and choose a seat farther back for a more comfortable view.

It's a great place to make friends or have a cheap date night. I watch at least 2 shows a month here. If you've never seen improv before, I'd recommend watching Teacher's Lounge, which performs the first Friday of every month at 9:30pm. They invite an interesting guest to tell true stories and the performers (who all teach improv) create longer scenes based on the stories we just heard. They offer improv classes. There is a drop in class open to all levels on Wednesdays, 101 classes offered a few times throughout the year, and advanced classes. It's not all improv. I've watched drag shows, a sea shanty night, and a fictionalized beauty pageant. The theater also hosts fundraising shows to support nonprofits. They're located inside the Starlight Theater. The theater is small and intimate - looked like they're prepping for Peter Pan, which added a fun touch to the atmosphere. The all-female cast was a standout! Super funny, fast on their feet, and clearly had great chemistry. I was laughing the whole time and the games were creative and entertaining. The vibe felt welcoming and community-oriented. One small suggestion: when asking the audience for ideas, maybe give women the first chance to respond- it'd be a nice nod to the cast. Tickets were super affordable ($5 cash / $7 card [we bought ahead on Eventbrite]). Highly recommend for a fun, low-cost night out!

The lighting and sound are good, too. However, the food was just so so, Jojo. * The calamari appetizer was generously portioned, but we've had a lot better elsewhere. * The Ribeye steak I ordered was the fattiest piece of meat I've ever been served. I left half of it uneaten. I'm surprised the cook who prepared it had the gall to plate it. The menu is an abbreviated version of the full menu of 17th Street grill. So why not a two star rating? The service was very good in a challenging environment. Cheers!
