I did research for an Orange County outdoor movie service, and they were by far the best option, reasonably priced, set up and take down right before and after the movie (they even waited in their truck during the entire movie in case we needed assistance) and were very friendly and professional. Shaun even came by the house a week or so before the event to look at the yard, make sure the outlets were working, etc. I would definitely recommend this company and think we will be using them again in the future!

Luzia is the 17th different Cirque Du Soleil show that I have seen. This felt more like a Las Vegas…read moreproduction than a show in a tent. It's going to be impossible to describe the show like I want without spoilers so be warned! When we took our seats I was surprised to see that a significant portion of the stage was covered in flowers. For the pre-show they brought out these little garden "robots" with watering cans on their heads. They really surprised me because they picked flowers, picked up tools, and even shook maracas! Before we knew it the show started with just a stunning image of a woman with giant butterfly wings running behind a giant silver horse (operated by at least three people) on a rotating conveyor belt. After this was a tumbling act on the rotating conveyor belt. It was so interesting to be able to see this from many different angles. Luzia is based on Mexican culture and fantasy. The imagery throughout the show was color, fun, and beautiful. You had everything from lucha libre costumes to people with giant fish heads "swallowing" their heads. The music and singing was lovely as well. I didn't know anything about this show and was shocked when "rain" started being incorporated into the acts. Sometimes it was to help with imagery for the story (think a woman on a trapeze swinging through it) but sometimes it was also used for comedy. The one part where the clown just wanted a drink of water was hilarious. They also had a section where the falling water made shapes such as hearts. I could have watched that for hours. I couldn't believe how much water was dropped during the production. The hand balancing act was played for humor and it worked really well. I've never seen hand balancing like this before and it was really well executed. The solo contortionist was interesting and horrifying at the same time. Normally I'm indifferent about juggling but their juggler really won me over with the "speed juggling" he did at the end of his act. Really great stuff! I must admit I got nervous during the straps act. I would have been fine with the artist just walking off of the stage instead of disappearing so high above the stage. The show was finished off with the Russian Swings, which is always spectacular. We all loved Luzia and were glad that we made the drive to attend it!

They set up a whole maze starting in the garage and through their backyard. You gotta get tickets, and you can either choose the free ones, or pay $10 for the "Fast Pass." We went tonight (the only Wednesday open) as a group of 6. Check their calendar to see available dates / times. We purchased combo tickets for HBM & Prism which are the only 2 mazes. Follow their IG for random promo codes! I do like how we had to purchase within a time slot which I think helps minimize the line. We waited in line for HBM for about 22 minutes with about 5-6 groups ahead of us. They are located at the old Sears building at Westminster Mall which is near John's Incredible Pizza & JC Penney. You can only enter from the outside of the mall, not the inside as pictured from previous years. Parking is free and plentiful. You can sign waivers on site. The waivers aren't allowing them to touch you or do any 17th Door type stuff involving fluids and insects.. just the typical liability release stuff. You can read the entire page while in line. You actually hand them your signed waiver at the very beginning inside the maze! After HBM, we lined up for Prism which was really fun! A scare actor came out and kept us on our toes while we waited to enter the main building. You get a chance to take photos in the first room with another costumed character before entering the maze. Not gonna lie, I was on my toes while posing for these photos thinking that something/someone's gonna pop out of no where! It is more interactive and has nice surprise scares in there. The interactive part does not involve anything crazy or involve them touching you. The story set up, scary masks, make up and the scare actors were very impressive. It took less than 10 minutes to complete but it's probably because we ran away from the creepy faces a little! I learned that the Prism haunt used to be a home haunt. I remember seeing their post during the first pandemic Halloween that they were providing a safe, outdoor show experience which I appreciate! Side note when buying tickets: Make sure you screen shot your QR code on the website after purchasing! I didn't, and the staff said the QR code doesn't always show up on the confirmation email for iPhones. I had to forward my ticket email to her then take a photo of my QR code from her phone. We all thoroughly enjoyed both HBM & Prism! You can tell how much work was put into everything. Although we were suuuper scared of going in with just our group, it made the experience better! I'd highly recommend checking both out this spooky season!

The King is still the surpeme in the jungle!!!…read more I know that I saw this show 3 months ago but the previous review just didn't do the show justice. It's a Tony® Award-winning Broadway sensation! Give credit where it is due. Based on the 1994 Disney animated film, THE LION KING is noted as one of the most popular shows on tour around the world. From the creative spectacle of animals brought to life to the amazing vocals, this show is worth the watch for Disney fans and non-fans alike as well as people of all ages. I don't know who dreamed up the amazing character outfits but they identify the character while keeping the actor mobile. They couldn't have EVERY animal in the wild kingdom on stage so they got creative by pushing you to use your own imagination to envision stampeding wildebeests and leaping gazelles in the backdrop. The music in this show is loud and emotional, leaving bits of Elton John's original to be heard, along with other elements in a combination of pop harmonies and tribal rhythms. Characters dance their way through the storyline, stopping for periods of conversation and then off to singing. All of the routines that captured the mood and spirit of Lion King cartoon. Taking you on an emotional roller coaster from start to finish this show was a pleasure to watch. As always Timon and Pumba were a riot! Sit in the front or balcony for the best view. Each of the locations are so unique, so even after you've done one, you will have a completely different experience at another location. It's one of my goals to hit up every location the mastermind and creative genius, Alex, has designed, and I'm well on my way with only one location left. In my opinion, these hunts are way more fun than an escape room because (1) they're longer -- 3-4 hours vs. 1-hour escape rooms -- thus more bang for your buck; (2) they involve walking around beautiful beach cities so you get exercise while enjoying the sun, fresh air, and creation; (3) they allow you to observe and appreciate art, monuments, and plaques you would normally otherwise overlook and walk right past; (4) they're designed so as you're walking between places, you can also chit chat with your teammates; and (5) they provide live competition against all the other teams and therefore fun motivation to work quickly and efficiently. I participated in my first Murder Mystery Scavenger Hunt back in 2015, and I can confidently say that even after running these events for so many years, Alex is still just as passionate, invested, responsive, and funny. I cannot recommend these scavenger hunts enough!
