This review is so long over due. I called prior to going is this morning with a question regarding my prescription glasses. After explaining to the staff what I needed, they responded "no problem, come on in" which I did, Sheila helped me, she knew I had to run a few errands which took approximately 60-90 minutes. Upon returning the glasses were done. I was really happy the work was able to be completed on site, rather than having to be sent out Parking is great, the office is always super clean. Over the years this business has really grown from three employees to now over ten. Our three kids who were all under eight, are now adults and since moved away to neighboring city's. All three have remained very loyal to this neighborhood business, they love Dr. Gupta and all the staff. I can't imagine going anywhere else. In fact, Cherie and Sheila have been here for the long haul. That alone speaks high volumes about the overall service provided. I will always recommend any family or friends to come here. Thanks again for taking care of all five of us Truly, Joe & Lisa , K,K, & M H.

My son was nervous and having difficulty cooperating, which is common for young children, but Dr. Lee appeared visibly frustrated. Her facial expressions and tone made it clear that she was annoyed with the situation. I expected a pediatric optometrist to be understanding, patient, and experienced in working with young children. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. The lack of patience and professionalism made us feel uncomfortable, and we decided to leave the appointment upset and disappointed. I would not recommend this office to parents looking for a caring and child-friendly eye doctor.

He introduced me to the concept of monovision, which basically means wearing a contact lens in one eye for distance and using the other eye for reading. Extremely disappointed…read more I was a loyal customer of this optometrist for over five years, and this is how they chose to treat a long-time customer. I ordered a pair of glasses and was told they would be ready in two weeks. After waiting three weeks, I had to call because no one contacted me. That's when I was told my glasses had been lost in the warehouse. I was told someone would get back to me with an update. No one ever did. I called again and spoke directly with the office manager. I explained how frustrating the situation had been and asked if they could offer any type of discount or courtesy because of the inconvenience. Her response was essentially that there was nothing they could do and that I should just come in and pick up my refund. When I arrived at the office, I wasn't greeted with an apology. No one said, "We're sorry for the inconvenience," or acknowledged the frustration this caused. After more than five years as a loyal customer, that lack of basic customer service was incredibly disappointing. Mistakes happen. Losing an order can happen. But failing to communicate, failing to follow up, showing no empathy, and making no effort to make things right is unacceptable. This experience made it clear that customer loyalty means very little to this office. I have taken my business elsewhere and will never return. I cannot recommend this office based on the way I was treated.

SCAM!!! Very…read moreDisappointing Experience -- Check Frame Prices Online Before Purchasing I had my eye exam and purchased my glasses here a few weeks ago, thinking I had finally found my go-to optometry. Unfortunately, this experience has been extremely disappointing. After my purchase, I checked the Chanel website and discovered that the exact frame I bought was listed for $380, while this optometry charged me $525 for the frame alone. When I contacted them to ask about the price difference, they explained that it was due to additional charges and fees. They also claimed that the price was higher because they were able to accommodate my insurance, and that I only paid $220 out of pocket, which they presented as a better deal than the retail price. This explanation makes no sense to me. My insurance provides partial coverage; that does not justify inflating the frame's price. If the frame had been charged at the price listed on Chanel's official website, my out-of-pocket cost would have been significantly lower -- around $70, based on my understanding of my insurance benefits. What made the experience even more frustrating was that I called to discuss this issue and was promised a callback, but no one ever followed up. I understand that businesses have operating costs, but customers deserve transparent pricing and honest explanations, especially when insurance benefits are involved. I would strongly recommend checking the frame's retail price online before making a purchase here. I genuinely thought I had found an optometry I could return to, but this experience has seriously damaged my trust and left me very disappointed

I don't write many reviews, but felt like I wanted to because of the exceptional service we had. My kids were pretty nervous about having their eyes examined. However, with Dr. Nguyen's calm and friendly demeanor; she was able to keep my kids at ease during the entire exam. She was very thorough with her exams and even showed my kids how healthy their eyes were on the monitor. She also answered any questions I had and I didn't feel like she was rushing through the exam which was very nice and professional. My son had no issues with his eyes but my daughter is near sighted and she wasn't a fan of wearing her glasses so I wanted to look into Ortho K for her. Dr. Nguyen was very informative about the process and even mentioned that her son had started at age 10. I wanted to preserve her sight so I decided to get Ortho K for my daughter. The whole process was so easy and Dr Nguyen was able to teach my 11 year daughter how to put on, remove and clean her Ortho K contacts. I was initially worried whether she would be able to put on and remove her Ortho K contacts. Dr. Nguyen was so patient and encouraging to my daughter while teaching her. She was able to walk her through it with confidence. The results were amazing... Within 1-2 days, my daughter was able to see without her glasses. She was overjoyed because she was able to see her classroom white board and play volleyball without her glasses. No more squinting around the house... We went back for a follow-up to ensure her contacts were fitting well and Dr. Nguyen performed another eye exam. I liked that she took the initiative to ensure that my daughter's contacts were sitting comfortably on her eyes. Her exam showed that she was seeing 20/20 so I was extremely happy with the results. I myself got a pair of prescription reading glasses from Dr. Nguyen after all these years of having 20/20 vision... Before seeing Dr. Nguyen, I tried wearing the store bought ones but they always made me dizzy since they were too strong... My advice is to go see Dr. Nguyen and get a prescribed pair. I'm really happy with the prescription and the cute frames I got. No more stretching my arms out to see paperwork, menus, my phone, etc.... Overall, our experience with Keen Eye Optometry has been amazing. The staff is very friendly and making appointments was so easy. They are also very responsive over text messages as well. The office is clean, they have a ton of different styles of frames to choose from and they have the latest eye equipment. Most of all, Dr. Nguyen is very professional, knowledgeable and shows that she actually cares for our eye health. I will definitely refer my family members and friends to Keen Eye Optometry!
