He takes his patients on time, and has such a calm presence. He immediately knew what my issue was, and prescribed doxycycline and warm compresses to treat it. Unfortunately, this experience has been extremely disappointing. After my purchase, I checked the Chanel website and discovered that the exact frame I bought was listed for $380, while this optometry charged me $525 for the frame alone. When I contacted them to ask about the price difference, they explained that it was due to additional charges and fees. They also claimed that the price was higher because they were able to accommodate my insurance, and that I only paid $220 out of pocket, which they presented as a better deal than the retail price. This explanation makes no sense to me. My insurance provides partial coverage; that does not justify inflating the frame's price. If the frame had been charged at the price listed on Chanel's official website, my out-of-pocket cost would have been significantly lower -- around $70, based on my understanding of my insurance benefits. What made the experience even more frustrating was that I called to discuss this issue and was promised a callback, but no one ever followed up. I understand that businesses have operating costs, but customers deserve transparent pricing and honest explanations, especially when insurance benefits are involved. I would strongly recommend checking the frame's retail price online before making a purchase here. I seen Dr Tran and Dr Mendoza, both did a thorough exam and even the office staff were great and efficient. They were pretty busy (which I knew they would be) but it seemed they worked quickly and efficiently. I had a positive experience, Dr Tran really had a good helpful way she treated me. I felt she really cared about me and my eye health and my over all health. Also the prices are pretty competitive and I didn't feel like she nickle and dimed every little thing. I got a thorough exam and I even have a follow up visit. I had an eye issue that she treated and also prescribed antibiotics and I also left with an eye wash. I felt very cared for and I felt so much better after my time with her. Also this Dr has a nice variety of glasses to choose from and the office was clean and organized. Even the bathroom was clean and stocked. The front staff was also friendly and helpful. This is by far the best optometrist experience I have ever had and I been wearing glasses for 40 years. Throughout my exam, Dr. Mendoza and Dr. Tran were very patient and easy going with me when I was trying to figure out if the eye chart was blurry or not haha!
