    Ube, mixed grain and mango
    Tiffany L.

Beautiful dessert, but as bingsoo, it's just okay. No where near as good as Sul & Beans when it comes to flavor and ingredients. We got the ube, mango and mixed grain (misugaru). The ube doesn't taste like ube at all. The purple powder had no flavor. The mango slices were a bit sour, but I liked the vanilla ice cream and overall the flavor was very refreshing. The misugaru wasn't very nutty-tasting and the mochi on top was hard. Their walnut cakes are delicious though. I'd come back for those.

Stumbled upon this treasure after searching for a light dessert after dinner! I absolutely adored the presentation along with the flavors. I ordered the strawberry and it came out very quickly. Condensed milk refills were also no charge which I appreciate and love. The strawberries were cut fresh and drenched with a strawberry glaze as well. A plop of vanilla ice cream definitely did not hurt hahaha. Overall I was super satisfied with the flavors as it was up to par with all the other snow places I have been to. Hidden in the very middle was scoop red bean for those that enjoy that. My final thoughts are it was quite pricey ($17) which was surprising for snow... hence the four stars. However there was plenty of seating and there is a parking structure under the establishment. Final Verdict: Satisfying!!!

Underrated spot right across from Mi Cafe on the second floor of the M Plaza. They do take a LONG time to fulfill orders, but you can definitely tell it's because they're making everything fresh. The Garlic Cheese Toast was soooo crispy, flavorful, fluffy, and just unreal. And everything's reasonably priced considering it's in ktown. If you're studying or working on the second floor patio, I highly recommend trying something from Ooyoo Cafe!

Plenty of seating makes this a great spot to escape the heat and hang out with friends. I saw lots of groups sharing the large shaved ices. They even give you multiple bowls and silverware to make sharing easier. The mango shaved ice was delicious, fresh, flavorful, and not too sweet. We didn't even feel the need to add the condensed milk. I'll definitely be back with a bigger group so I can try more flavors!

Honestly, this place is the best so far when it comes to bingsu and the prices!!!! I order the mango bingsu and everything was perfect, refreshing and yummy. The mango is so fresh and so much in flavor and had so much sweetness to it, I couldn't stop and wanted more! The portion was so good for the price! I also order the taiyaki the 5 for $9.95 and truly believe it's worth the price and got to mix my flavors for the inside. Ordered the red bean, custard, Nutella, and Oreo. The stand out was the Nutella of course, it's crispy on the outside and nice and soft and gooey on the inside. Ambiance: everything well lit and nicely clean, there's also outside seating, like a little lounge and very nice to hang out!

Food: 4.6/5 Ambiance: 4.9/5 Value: 4.6/5 I love that there is parking and that this little shop is a bit off the main strip of k-town so it's less crowded. The pancakes and mango shaved ice were both really great! I don't think it was anything better than other places but it definitely still hit the spot, and was exactly what I wanted when we stopped by. The thing I love the most is the ambiance of the place. There's plenty of outdoor seating with cute/comfy outdoor furniture. Strongly recommend stopping by for a quick post-meal dessert!

Would highly recommend this place for dessert! If you're looking for a sweet treat, Ooyoo is a great choice! We ordered the hotteok and the custard taiyaki. Both came out hot and fresh. The hotteok was very hot and slightly crispy. The custard taiyakis were light and weren't batter heavy. We also ordered the matcha slush which had a very strong matcha flavor and was slightly bitter. It had red beans in it too. Would recommend ordering if you're a matcha lover! Service was good and they took our order down quickly. There is plenty of seating in the shop and a patio as well. There's also parking above and underground. Would come back!

Ooyoo should be renamed to Oooyaaaa!! Great little cafe with an inviting upstairs patio with lots of plants. They have a private lot to park with a security guard. I usually go in the evenings for a quick bingsu fix. I'm not a bingsu connoisseur, but I really enjoy Ooyoo's. The service is fast and friendly, great seating and delicious desserts. They also do freshly made Taiyaki's, which are often ordered by other patrons. The strawberry Bingsu had sweet strawberries and definitely can feed multiple people. I also enjoyed their black sesame one that comes with mochi and red beans inside. Ooyoo is easy to get in and out of. They're open till 9:30 on weekdays and later on weekends.

Such a great spot for authentic Korean desserts in Koreatown! Everything tasted fresh, and you can really tell they put a lot of care into what they make. The Mango Bingsu was light, refreshing, and loaded with fresh mango, the Taiyaki had a perfectly crisp exterior with delicious homemade sweet red bean filling, and the Hotteok was warm, chewy, and so satisfying. One of my favorite parts was learning that they make their red bean paste from scratch it really makes a difference in the flavor

    Open seating second floor.

Another bingsu place. I love the open seating area, this is shared with the other cafe in this building. We ordered large Mango bingsu, they used not the Atulfo or yellow mango, hence it's not that sweet. The shaved ice is fine and good, red bean inside is well cooked and big portions and pieces. If I will compare this with some other bingsu place, I think theirs is the same but I had better. We also tried their taiyaki in cream cheese and red bean flavors--both were delicious! They had a nice crunch on the outside and a chewy texture inside. The filling was generous and made for a satisfying treat.

Next time I'll have to buy 6 at once, bring it home to freeze and eat for later so I don't have to have a hankering when I'm so far away from dessert :( =========== have no words because it was too good, it took the words out of my mouth and it's been a few weeks for me to remember all the detail lol Cheese ranked quite high Red bean was my fav Skip pizza But the part that makes me love this is the actual taiyaki itself. It's filled to the gills with filling, mouth to tail and it was crunchy and chewy simultaneously. It wasn't too doughy either! Way better than somi somi. This taiyaki blows everyone else out of the water (no pun intended) Service was sweet and the atmosphere is pretty cool cuz you can hang on a large outdoor area with a nice layout. Lots of chairs available, but it was quite crowded. Parking underground. Affordable from what I recall, under $10 for 3. Id love to try other items!

    Nutella & Cheddar Taiyaki.

Delicious Korean snacks here! My kids were hungry so we decided to try this place out. We ordered the Honey Rice Cake, Garlic Cheese Toast and Taiyaki (Nutella and Cheddar). All of them were yummy! My kids gobbled everything up and I only tasted a bit of each. I liked the Honey Rice Cake. Sweet and just a bit chewy and the honey oozing out of these yummy things! The Garlic Cheese Toast was good, buttery and of course cheesy. The taiyaki were both good too. When I'm in the area, I'll stop by and order these again!

Food: Ooyoo bingsu: 9/10 (size: small) I'm not a huge fan of red bean but this changed my mind. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and they were very generous with the toppings. A small is the perfect size for 2 people. Definitely the best bingsu i've tried!! Taiyaki: 8/10 - custard & red bean You can't go wrong with Taiyaki's but I liked how crispy the batter was and the amount of filling inside. Service: Average Didn't really interact with the worker there but the food came out pretty quickly! Ambiance: 10/10 The cafe is located inside a plaza which has sooo much seating outside but the cafe itself also offers a lot of seating. It's well decorated and aesthetically pleasing. Extra: - Restrooms for customers - Free water - Outside patio closes at 11pm but store closes at 10pm - Cute photobooth in the seating area Definitely worth checking out and I will definitely be coming back!!

The ice cream also had a buttery taste to it. It might have been from the toast, but I'm not too sure. The bread itself wasn't oily, which was nice, but it was kind of dry. The pandan sauce definitely helped make it easier to eat. I probably wouldn't eat the bread by itself though because it was super hard and didn't really have much flavor. I wasn't sure what to expect from the toast, but it wasn't quite what I expected. So we decided to come here for coffee or tea and ended up having a really nice time. I used to come here quite often about four years ago. Back then, I really liked their Einspänner and ordered it several times. But the last time I came, I thought it was way too sweet, so I hadn't been back since. It had actually been a REALLY long time since I last visited. And when I used to come here four years ago, I always came in the morning or around lunchtime. Last night was my first time ever coming here at night. My friend told us that they are open until midnight, so that's why we decided to come here after dinner. I had heard that parking here can be a nightmare because there aren't enough parking spaces and people have a hard time finding a spot. But once again, my parking luck was AMAZING! A car pulled out right in front of me just as I arrived, so I was able to park very easily. Another friend arrived later than I did, and she said she couldn't find a parking spot at all. She drove around for quite a while looking for one before finally finding street parking. Last night, we also had some tiramisu, and since I'm pretty sensitive to caffeine, I decided to have a caffeine-free ade instead of coffee or tea. It was a little sweet for my taste, but it was ok. We sat outside on the outdoor patio and talked and talked and talked. We had such a fun time together! However, it was actually pretty cold outside last night. I remember thinking that it felt surprisingly chilly. But what was even crazier was how FREEZING cold it was inside the café! They had the air conditioning turned up so high that both my friends and I felt like we were going to freeze to death. The restroom is inside, and I also went inside to get some water, so I mentioned to one of the male employees that it was freezing inside. He told me that they didn't feel cold at all because they were working, and that THEY were actually feeling really hot. I went back to our table and told my friends what he had said, and they were like, "WHAT?! We're freezing to death over here!" The parking lot here is actually pretty large, so I was wondering why it was so difficult to find a parking spot. Apparently, at night, the left side is the café, while on the right side there is a bar where people can drink and also play games. There was a huge line of people waiting outside the bar last night, so I'm guessing that's probably why the parking lot gets so crowded and it's hard to find a spot. It was also pretty chilly outside last night because of the low temperature, so one thing I wished they had on the outdoor patio was heaters. That would have made sitting outside much more comfortable on a cold night.

The barista was super helpful with explaining what each drink was, didn't steer us in any direction though. The Houjicha shaved ice was the standout. Houjicha is a toasted green tea, and the flavor is a little difficult to describe--it has a warm, grainy, almost wheat-like taste that's very different from traditional green tea. At first, it can seem like an unusual flavor, but don't give up on it. Once you add the syrup they serve on the side and keep eating, it really grows on you. It somehow gets better with every bite, and before you know it, you can't stop eating it. The Iced Brown Sugar Miso Latte wasn't exactly what I was in the mood for, but it was still well made. It had a nice balance of umami and sweetness without either flavor overpowering the other. While it wasn't my personal favorite, I'd still recommend it if you're looking to try something a little different. Overall, Anko is a great spot if you're looking for unique Japanese-inspired desserts and drinks in a calm, beautifully designed space.

So Good!!!!! The service was so good the lady serving us was so kind and sweet! We had the Citron…read morefruit dessert after seeing it all the time on TikTok, and the Dubai Chocolate Matcha Cake. The Citron was a citrusy yuzu cheesecake with passion fruit lemon juice inside, leaking and bursting with tangy flavor! The cake was fluffy and decadent and melt in your mouth. The Cake was crunchy topped it matcha chocolate shell to smash it open. It was so much fun. The moose was so divine and light and airy it almost felt like a cloud in my mouth. At the bottom of it was crispy and crunchy pistachio kataifi, shredded toasted wheat dough, and so nutty and crispy combining with the cloudy mousse. 10/10!!!

We came right around opening and there were already quite a few people, but thankfully no line. Everything was still available, so we got the strawberry, mango, and lemon desserts, plus a box of ice cream. We tried the lemon one there - and it was really good! The center is super runny, though, so be careful because it can get messy fast The strawberry was definitely my favorite - such an interesting combination with a really bright strawberry flavor. The mango was good too, but I probably should have gone with a different fruit. The ice cream was honestly a 5/10 for me. You can find similar, or even better, ice cream at a dollar store, so I'd skip that The strawberry lemonade, on the other hand, was SO good! Not too sweet, with a nice tart flavor. Definitely recommend it! The café itself was clean, cute, and welcoming, and the staff was friendly. Would I come back? Probably not. I think these desserts are more of a trendy experience that everyone should try at least once. I'm glad we did, and the quality here is definitely great - I just don't think I'm going to become a fan of this type of dessert.
