Came across this gem through a Yelp buddy's review. Doug, if you see this, thank you, haha!…read more I've been hitting up Brea once a month for an errand, and I always scout for a coffee spot afterward. Somehow, this spot never came up even though they have coffee. I got the Biscoff Crunch Matcha and felt like coffee too, so I ordered the coconut coffee. The Biscoff matcha was a new flavor combo for me, and I liked it so much I finished the whole thing on my drive home. The coconut coffee was solid too (only took a few sips) but I just couldn't get enough of the match. Just a note... Yelp showed it closing soon (11:00 AM) when I arrived, 8 minutes before 11, but the hours on the door said otherwise. The girl was already scrubbing the counters in the back when I walked in. Glad I checked and went in anyway!

Yikes. I was in the…read morearea shopping and getting errands done. I had a 25 minute ride back home so I decided to get something refreshing from here first. It was a Saturday evening about an hour before they closed. When I walked in there was a couple in front of me and it appeared they had issues ordering from the kiosk. The one worker who was there that night came out with the most unfriendly face and vibe. Even though she wasn't serving me yet she even made me feel uncomfortable and that's hard to do. Lmao. After we all ordered our drinks, we could not help but talk about how grumpy she looked. I gave the benefit of the doubt knowing it sucks to work alone on a Saturday or maybe she's tired but the strangers i was talking with said everytime they come here she's always unfriendly. The one star reviews on here confirm that. I kid you not I was looking for the manager to share this concern with because it was that bad. There was no one else in sight. I didn't feel like confronting anyone that night, but if they read their yelp reviews please consider providing customer service training to your employees. With so many boba shops opened now in brea including the 3-4 spots in brea mall alone, good drinks and good service will keep your business alive. 2 stars for my pineapple Green tea. It was decent but the ice level sucked. Very little ice was given and the ice they used melted super fast.

My go to boba shop in Brea! Try a milk tea with coffee jelly. 10/10!…read more Sign up for their rewards and you will get a BOGO coupon! Then after that, they'll send you another BOGO! Paying less than $4 for a boba? Count me in! Service: The staff are friendly and very attentive. I usually place my order in app and just walk in to wait for my order. But there is always someone who asks if they can help me out. Excellent service! Ambiance: The shop is a bit cozy, but the decor is fun and bright. It's a great place for kids and families to grab their favorite drinks. There is some outdoor seating and plenty of parking space. Grab your boba before going to Walmart, Michaels, Nordstrom Rack, or Burlington nearby!

Okay I admit, I avoided this place for the longest time despite it being so close to home just…read morebecause it was a boba chain I wasn't familiar with... only to finally give it a try this week and realize that this is actually a REALLY good boba place. My regrets! To start off, make sure you sign up for their loyalty system online before you place your first order because you'll get a BOGO offer to use which is really nice since a standard drink with topping is $7-$8. I really love that they offer online ordering, because it makes it so easy to use your rewards when ordering and it's really simple to just pick up your order in person. My favorite drink here is the mango snow (essentially a mango smoothie) with boba. The mango snow is not too sweet at baseline and has a really nice creamy consistency. Their boba is PERFECT -- perfectly cooked texture and flavor. Definitely and easily the best tasting pearls I've had compared to other main chains in California. I have not tried any of the teas here though so I really can't speak for the quality of their tea. They sent me a second BOGO offer the following day after my first visit, which I promptly used haha! They have a loyalty point system based off dollars spent that is actually not bad. Compared to other places where you have to spend quite a lot of money before you can redeem any sort of freebie, Krak Boba's point system allows you to redeem freebies sooner which is really nice. Overall, I strongly recommend Krak Boba (best boba/pearls in the area, for sure) but the standard menu pricing is rather cost-prohibitive in my opinion, so make sure you take advantage of their loyalty program rewards.

2 words..PINEAPPLE ALICE!!! Lol If you haven't stopped by your local OMOMO recently, I highly…read moresuggest that you make a trip because their seasonal drinks right now are FIRE! I legit am on my third day (in a row..don't judge me) of stopping by to order the pineapple Alice. I love me some pineapple & coconut any day, so this drink was a winning combo for me. In a nutshell, it's Greek yogurt blended with fresh pineapple, and topped with their house-made coconut whip. First time I got 50% sweetness level, which is good, but being a fruity smoothie, I would have preferred it a lil sweeter, thus 2nd & 3rd time around, I learned my lesson and got 80%..and it was perfect! Trust..it wasn't overly sweet at all. It was dreamy heaven. I happened to be in the area, getting a tattoo and wanted to refuel before I trekked the trafficky drive home to Irvine (UGH..at 2:30 pm on a Wednesday, no less). Super thankful, I discovered this new looking Brea location (on State College Blvd ~ right near the freeway entrance) and it didn't have a crazy wait/line. The store was clean, w/ minimalistic neutral decor..loved the chill aesthetic vibe. The cute wooden pillars as you enter was interesting, but caught me a bit off-guard, as it was right in front of the pick-up area. You have to explore further inside the store to the order line. Service was great and efficient. OMOMO is highly recommended by this RxFoodie (and my 2nd fav boba shoppe in OC still), so def go check it out and become addicted like ME!

The sweetness from the honey boba coupled with the creaminess of the drink is pure bliss. I would 100% be willing to wait again in line for this spot. I think my next try will be the matcha creamomo. There was no seating available so it's obvious this is a grab and go spot, but there are lots of places nearby to walk around and enjoy .

They have a lot of cold signature coffee drinks. The music was bumping (I enjoyed hearing Telegraph - Childish Gambino). The ambience was modern, trendy and cool. The drinks were delicious with unique flavor options. They were aesthetically pleasing as well. The server was really nice. The ube dessert tasted like it had real pieces of taro inside. It was tasty and not overly sweet. They had other yummy pastry options too in their small display cabinet/bread drawer thing. The bad: The server didn't announce to us that the order was ready when 3 of the 4 items were ready but perhaps she was waiting for the entire order to be ready together. The interesting: They had super cute hand-drawn dog paintings on the windows.

They mainly do drinks here, coffee or teas, but they also offer two paninis: turkey pesto or tomato caprese. I ordered an unsweetened matcha latte iced, and they offer alternative milks upon request. The bar is easily seen behind the glass so you can watch the staff make your order. Overall, the pricing is on par with most places in the area. My order took a while to come out but it's hand whisked when I ordered. I wish it was a little stronger since the flavor of the matcha didn't really come through compared to the milk. Also, the matcha isn't mixed well enough since it's separating quickly. I have to stir it again every time I want to drink. They have loyalty cards but do not offer them right away. You have to request one when you place your order.

What I love most here is the ordering experience. There are multiple large touchscreens where you can fully customize your drink -- sugar level, ice level, add-ons, substitutions, you name it. I almost always go for zero sugar, and the fact that I can do that easily is a huge plus for me. It's the kind of flexibility that modern boba shops should all offer. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable, which is refreshing compared to some other spots in the area. Is it the most amazing boba I've ever had? Honestly, no -- but the ability to build your drink exactly the way you want it more than makes up for it. There's also a large display screen showing order status, so you always know when your drink is ready. It's a small touch, but it makes the whole experience feel smooth and stress-free. I'll be real though -- I probably drink more coffee from the Starbucks across the street than boba from here. At the end of the day, coffee feels like the healthier daily habit. But when I'm in the mood for something different, this place is where I'll be.
