First time I saw the video, I thought it's delivered from USPS. But I checked the box, it is from OnTrac. This guy just thrown the package and let it landed on a concrete floor. I can imagine this is how he handles the boxes in their warehouses as well. It's just terrible and disgraceful! read more

Awful delivery service! They do not come to our door to deliver parcels, instead they leave them outside, in the wet grass, in the middle of rain storms, without a plastic bag. I have complained to them directly and nothing changes... DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!! read more

Ordered an overnight package to be here in time for a Halloween party, driver stated our address does not exist and sent it back to the vendor. Whatever money was refunded, I moved on. Now we had another package sent overnight for a trip, we really needed for our Thanksgiving trip. It did not arrive on time, we spent hours on the phone tracking down this package only to be told that they use contract drivers, and the package was locked in this drivers personal vehicle. We have video footage of the package being delivered the next day and within a few hours being picked up by the same delivery driver. Now we are spending more hours on the phone figuring out where our package went, customer service sucks and just gives everyone the run around. Avoid OnTrac at all costs! We are contacting local PD since the driver returned to our property and stole the package he delivered off our front porch. Apparently they located the package so we are now driving 45 minutes to pick this up as I do not want these crooks on my property to deliver the package they have already delivered and stolen off my property! read more

I've had three different companies attempt to ship products to me using ONTRAC. I have never received the items. They are either marked as shipped or the new scam seems to be "minor damage detected, will attempt delivery" I now make a point to ask if companies will try to use ONTRAC when I make purchases and insist that they do not or I will not make the purchase. A customer service representative even said to me, "Well, no one is calling us to say that we're doing a great job". They hate their own company. They do not even deserve the one star that I am required to give. read more

Can I leave a zero star review? Ontrack cannot deliver to either address I have lived in. They left boxes in the stairwell of my old condo. 4 days in a row now they can't seem to get the package to my new location. System says delivered but no boxes. I called to complain and they took my information and no one called me back. Glad I purchased from Amazon and Walmart because they will eventually get my money back. It will take hours on the phone politely trying to tell people to do their job. read more

If could give zero stars I would!!! Amazon needs to STOP using Ontrac ASAP! Two packages shipped with 2 day shipping from Amazon, scheduled for delivery on the 16th. Guess what? Neither package came on the 16th. I call on the 17th, they say a truck didn't go to Carmel that day, I needed the items in the packages, so I driver from Carmel to Salinas to pickup. I get there, they have ONE of the packages, but not the other it's "on the truck for delivery". OK, wait, I thought you said no truck went out, and if it did, why weren't both packages on there? So, guess what? 30 minutes later, on the tracking for the second package it says "Redeliver next day". I call. They tell me that the driver is still out and they will have him bring it. They didn't. Now it's the 18th and still no second package. I call, I'm on hold right now actually. They say "It's going to be delivered today" and I say "Then how come it doesn't say "Out for Delivery". "Oh that's a good question". UGGGGGG The answer is "You should have your package by Sunday. That's NINE DAYS to receive!!! I don't think I'll ever get the second package. My next call is to Amazon. Day 6 that they've had my package.....sigh... Day 9 since shipment, package still "staged for delivery". No answers from phone calls. "We'll call back within two hours". It's been 5 hours. Did you know that they send the van WITH packages to their individual drivers houses? That drivers get paid per delivery and so they can keep packages hostage if they just "don't feel like finishing the run"? They haven't been able to "get ahold of the driver" with my package since the 17th...... Day 10, no delivery, no change... only now hey have two of my boxes waiting to be delivered and after tomorrow it will be three......o Day 12, my package finally arrived..... read more

On trac has now misdirected three packages in a row to the wrong address. These were all very expensive items from Patagonia. I contacted on trac the first two times and their response was incredibly condescending implying that their records indicate the package was delivered to the wrong address. In fact, all the items were delivered to the same address - 3985..., however my address is 3785 some 1/4 mile away. The first two packages were brought to me by the neighbor. Today, I received notice from Patagonia that my delivery was made. But as before, wrong address. So this time I went to the neighbors house, and sure enough the package was there. USING ON TRAC NOT AGOOD IDEA; incredibly bad service! read more

If I could give a negative star rating I would. We have been OnTrac customers for over 20 years and this Hub is the worst in all of California. They are responsible for picking up packages in Monterey as well and every time we have used their for our overnight documents they either miss the pick up box or their driver loses packages. This has cost us and our clients hundreds of dollars in documentation costs. DO NOT USE OnTrac in Monterey or Salinas. They are honestly the worst overnight hub in the state. We will not be using them for our overnight document packages any longer. We have filed claims upon claims and they still will not fire the driver that is responsible. Save yourself time and anguish and just use Fed Ex or US Postal Service. read more

Still would have given 0 stars if I could. Had talked to Ontrac customer service and they really didn't care. According to customer service, they did their job and delivered correctly. Supposedly even verified driver's gps scanner of this delivery. After filing and documenting my complaints, I revisited Ontrac's tracking information a day later. Suddenly my package is listed as wrong delivery status and update is pending. Another day later it arrives again at their facility and processed again for delivery. Followed by being out for delivery that same day. I then wasted another entire day for delivery. This time I received delivery of my package. I believe if I didn't stay persistent with this. Someone at Ontrac would have kept my package and blamed it on transient stealing because they did their job delivering it. Luckily, I was home at the time and had the Ring camera footage covering the driveway as well as the front door to make my case. Don't trust Ontrac. They lie to protect themselves. Once it is scanned as delivered, it is no longer Ontrac's problem but yours and yours to fix. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would! Just utterly the worst company ever! I am an avid Amazon shopper and my packages are constantly delivered by On Trac. First off, do they deliver in their personal vehicles? I once had a guy drop off my delivery in an old green dodge van, looked like it belonged to a soccer mom and I've seen other cars in town with an On Trac logo on them. Does not look professional at all. Second, I have been home multiple times when they deliver and they don't even bother to knock on the door before they dump their packages. Just today I was in my room that is at the front of the house, next to the front door. I can literally see who is coming to the door from the window in my room. I see the On Trac guy coming up, drops my package on the porch (seriously, drops!) and leaves... no knock, no nothing. They do not even attempt to hide under the bench or anything. Just there, visible for anyone to take. Is it so much to ask for that you give a knock or a ring at least before you drop off packages and run? It seriously takes 2 seconds of your time. You don't even have to wait for someone to come to the door, just as a notice that the package is there. I really hope Amazon parts ways with this company given the number of complaints they receive about On Trac. Just the worst! read more

We don't get about half of our deliveries when shipped via OnTrac. If we do, the driver leaves them inside our USPS mailbox, which is a mile away from our house. It's illegal for anyone but a postal worker to use the mailbox, so I put a battery cam out, have recorded a couple of deliveries their agent's provided, and the postmaster at our USPS branch is eager to see the videos so a formal complaint can be lodged with them along with the evidence. Sometimes, Ontrac's driver will leave the package on the ground under our mailbox on the side of the road, which is a pretty busy road. I've had one instance where the box got run over, and another where the box was open but empty. Our neighbors have also complained of similar behavior. Seeing this page, while comforting, makes me wonder why Amazon or anyone else continues to use them. Looking forward to joining the inevitable class action suit against Ontrac. read more

If not the worst its on the list, from the customer service to shipping not being reliable in any posible way. The worst of the worst, in all, ways you can imagine. 1) tracking gives false information on delivery dates and time. Have been waiting over 3 days from the date offered in the service. How is it possible that Amazon would even do business with this After all the bad reviews. 2) when you call the first time I was on hold for an agent for over 2 hours Decided to hang up tried the call back option and was called at 8 pm 6 Later, only to be told that they are busy and the the package would be Delivered the following day and as you may guess it did not and now It's been over 5 hours to try to talk to someone of where'd my Package is. 3) the only time I spoke to a person, they make it as if they are doing you A favor for a service one has paid for. I guess my option since I can't get information about my package or get it delivered is to call my credit card and report this purchase as fraud , cause the dates, of delivery are not met and there is no way to talk to an agent to get information on it. Tracking shows outdated information and is not updated. This has to be the worst and worst reliable shipping company with the one man operation they have. Shame on you Amazon for not giving follow up on the people you merge with. Witch at the end never again buy from Amazon unless they change or make shipping more trust worthy. So one pays for prime in advance and the. Gets ripped off with shipping , not worth paying for prime. Only gets 1 star cause did not have the option of not giving 1 to summit form. read more

This is the worst delivery service ever. They lost a previous delivery of mine from Amazon, and never could give me an answer about what happened. I ordered some stocking stuffers from See's Candy on 12/4...it's now 12/18, still no delivery. Original delivery date was 12/12, then it changed to 12/17...on my front door cam I saw the delivery truck in my driveway yesterday, 12/17, for about 10 minutes while the guy searched the back of the truck, then searched the cab of the truck, then he gave up and left. Tracking is still showing that the item is "out for delivery"...yesterday...no status update, no package...who knows if it will ever show up. Ridiculous. read more

Zero stars is too many. There should be a negative star allowance. I have NEVER, ever gotten a package on time. It always takes at least 2 or 3 attempts at getting a delivery from this abysmal service. They are unable to 'find' my location, or 'get access' to my location. They have the gate code, they can't find their way in. When they find they're way in, they can't find the house (even though it's right there in front of them). I've called their service center, and you generally wait on hold for at least 10-15 minutes. Sometimes, you get hung up on. I can guarantee that the wait time is because there are so many disgruntled people trying to find out what in heck is going on with their packages. As to being hung up on...yes, I've had them hang up on me...twice. The first time, I mentioned that this was my *third* time calling in a day trying to make sure that they had my gate code. The person's response was "You should stop pestering then since we obviously have it", then click. Guess who called back and had to wait another 15 minutes. The second time I was hung up on, I had a package sent back 2x and received both times an 'unable to find location'. The person who answered stated I was wasting her time since it was my fault they didn't have directions. HOW IN HECK am I supposed to give directions? Don't they have GPS? Google maps? Something in this century? How do I give directions to Amazon or any other provider? What a horrible, horrible service. I cannot understand or fathom WHY companies use this service at all. I really, REALLY wish I could give them a negative 5. While the phone calls are their service center, the delivery portion is local. Their drivers are incompetent. Any time I call the service center and actually get a body, they agree that they have issues with a lot of their drivers, being 'new' or having language barriers. I don't understand how they cannot read a simple text with a gate code, or with their map directions. This local service sucks. OH...to top it off. I had a 2 part delivery from Sephora, two boxes, that were being delivered same day. It was part of the same order. One was delivered. The other: "unable to gain access". It was the same driver. The service center could not explain it. I can explain it...their driver was an idiot. I'm posting this for Salinas as well, since I don't know what my local delivery service is. It sometimes comes from Fremont, other times from Salinas. In either case, it is absolutely horrible. read more

Terrible. What more can I say. They claimed that the first package was left at the front door. My wife and I were both at home on the couch 10 feet from the door waiting for them. I guess they were at the wrong address. Amazon shipped a replacement immediately but it has not arrived yet. Delivery was scheduled for 4 business days ago and still waiting. Total time for the one package is up to 16 days now (that is counting weekends). Worst shipping company ever. If you can't depend on someone for delivering packages why would you use them? read more

Really frustrated with this courier. Every time I place an order with Amazon Prime I cross my fingers that OnTrac is not involved. Packages handled by UPS, FedEx, USPS arrive without a hitch in 1-2 days .. its awesome and makes Prime well worth the yearly fee. OnTrac on the other hand is always drama. Recently they delivered a package to my neighbors home. When i called the GPS tagged the drop off at my home, so the OnTrac rep concluded it was stolen and to contact Amazon. A week later, my neighbour decided to turn over the open rummaged through order ... thats another story. Today im dealing with a Prime order placed on Tuesday 03/24/15 expected for Thursday. OnTrac was delayed and rescheduled for Friday. OnTrac driver claimed he couldn't find our home @ 3:00pm on Friday so a reattempt will be made. Problem is they are closed all weekend, cant even drive to Salinas to pickup and re-attempt is scheduled for Monday 03/30/15 ... nearly a week from placing order. I would also like to add our street is only 3 block long in a very quiet neighbourhood in Monterey. Our home has a very legible address number directly above the mailbox on the front of our home ... situated under a very bright porch light. To be fair, OnTrac customer service is very friendly. I wouldn't know about the other couriers customer service ... I never have issues with their services. read more

Shame I can't give it 0.5 star or less. Worst delivery service ever! I ordered a product and they were suppose to deliver it. Day 1, it was supposedly delivered but I wasn't l home. This was possible but doubtful. Day 2, wrong address; undeliverable. How can you try to deliver it the previous day and the address not be correct the next. I called and they promised it would be delivered...nope it wasn't. This went on for two weeks. I called and even gave them step by step directions to my house plus my cell phone number so they could contact me. Still not here nor did I get a phone call. Last entry was changed by corporate and no idea if it will ever arrive. I called the place where I ordered the product and received a refund but seriously, it shouldn't be this hard to receive a package! read more

OnTrac - This is how bad they are! - Couriers & Delivery Services Near Me - Salinas, California

OnTrac is terrible. I waited on hold for 45 minutes to try to give them my apartment number since they said they couldn't deliver without it. I gave up and emailed them. When the representative wrote back to me 2 days later, he said they had to wait for approval from the shipper before they could deliver. 4 days later, I noticed myself that the tracking information said OnTrac returned my package to the sender (AND they didn't tell me that!). It's been 2 weeks now and I STILL have yet to get my package. EDIT 10/6/14: Another package being delivered by OnTrac was simply never delivered. The tracking claimed it was delivered to my house but I never received. Their message to me was to ask the sender for a replacement product. Who knows if the package was stolen or not, but I've only had trouble with OnTrac and no one else. read more

The worst shipping/delivery service ever. I had recently made some purchases online and the website had switched from UPS/USPS to OnTrac. The first attempt they couldn't access my gated community (which I could understand), the second attempt they couldn't find my house and on the third attempt they delivered... to the wrong address. Customer service promised the delivery man would stop by the next day to retrieve the package from where it was delivered. He never showed. Thankfully my neighbor was kind enough to bring it to my house. I thought well it had to be a fluke right? I subsequently ordered from the website again hoping the package would ship UPS or USPS (some items do for some reason). This time they have told me they couldn't find my gated community/house (hello, gps anyone?). And requested that I give them directions. Definitely the worst shipping/delivery service I have ever seen. Part of the service is delivering to the right address and making sure that it is delivered within the set amount of days. Each package has been delivered to me has been "late" by 5/6 days. Although, I do have to say that the numerous times I have called customer service they have been kind and helpful. read more

Absolute worst shipping company in history. Unfortunately I'm located too far away for any of their contracted drivers to ever actually deliver my packages. Literally just had a representative say that the driver claimed that "it got too late", so the package was brought back to the warehouse an hour before they close (I'm 15 mins away). This will be the 4th time I've had to go out and pick up a package, last time it got LOST in their warehouse for several days. The. Absolute. WORST. read more

Basically if you live in the area covered by this delivery company, do NOT count on your packages getting to you on time. 2 day Amazon Prime orders will sit in their facility for days until you call and bitch about it. 2 weeks ago I had a package sit in their building for 2 extra days before it was upgraded to "sunrise gold"....meaning it was supposed to be on my doorstep the next day before noon. Heres the best part.... THAT package on the digital delivery conformation says it was delivered at 10:30am. Nope. In REALITY it hit my doorstep at 1:30pm. The drivers are LYING on the delivery times. This is pathetic and this location should be closed down. Corporate better step in and do something about this ASAP. read more

My package was delivered on time today, however, this positive experience is completely canceled by the fact it was delivered by a disgruntled, rude, unprofessional delivery person. I live in a small apartment and was home at the time of delivery. I could hear a guy outside my door yelling and cursing rather loudly about the decorative wreath on our door that apparently prohibited him from easily seeing our apartment number. Our number is not blocked and we have had several packages delivered to us almost daily the past few weeks by other carriers without issue or complaint. I had a different package delivered by OnTrac last week but I guess it must have been a different driver. Anyhow, from the loud thud that occured, it sounds like he just tossed it at our door, didn't knock or ring the doorbell then walked away still yelling and cursing I guess towards the other driver with him about not being able to find our apartment. Fortunately, for me, it wasn't anything fragile, so nothing was damaged. As the driver was getting back to his van, my husband happens to pull up into our carport and hears the guys talking sh*t. Realizing that he was talking about our apartment and knowing that I was home alone, he approached the driver to inquire on the issue. The driver continued to be rude and just kept yelling. They started to driver off to which my husband wanted to get a photo pf their license plate to file a complaint. The delivery guy proceeds to get out, clearly disgruntled at this, more yelling ensues and my husband ends up being pushed to the ground by the driver. At this point, a few neighbors came out and tried to break things up as well, the other driver got out of the van and proceeds to start yelling at them and telling everyone to mind their own business when they tried to get photos or help my husband. The entire situation was so uncalled for! They ultimately left but my husband still called local law enforcement and filed a complaint with photos of the individuals, license plate and package tracking number. The drivers were not in an OnTrac vehicle but in a white Penske cargo van. Probably drivers who were contracted out during this pandemic, but if this is who they are sending out, I certainly don't trust future packages being delivered by them! I have so many more packages being delivered to me in the coming weeks that I hope they are not through OnTrac that people come around again! I wouldn't be surprised if our packages mysteriously get lost or delayed now. read more

I love Amazon but I'm going to have to stop shopping through them due to their insistence on using OnTrac who has extreme difficultly finding my clearly addressed home located in a major subdivision in a highly populated neighborhood in Seaside, CA. FedEx, UPS, USPS, and pizza delivery men have no problems locating it but for some reason it is beyond OnTrac's ability to do so. This is not an isolated incident either. When the driver doesn't show we will call the customer service center in Arizona who then tells us the same thing; That the driver is still out (this is sometimes as late as 10:00 at night) and they will try to contact him and find out where he is. I call back a half hour later and am then told they have gotten a hold of the driver's supervisor but that he can't get a hold of the driver for some reason. The supervisor then promises that it will be delivered tonight though. 30 minutes after that I check the online shipment tracker and it says that the driver had returned to the facility 4 hours earlier. I then call customer service and am told that he will not actually be delivering my package tonight after all. This exact sequence of events has happened twice in the last three months. It's less hassle to just go through a different vendor that uses UPS or USPS or go and buy the product directly from Best Buy. The silver lining of OnTrac's incompetence though is that Amazon Prime members get a one month extension of their Prime memberships whenever a package is late. So when OnTrac drops the ball, be sure to call Amazon and let them know. read more

Constantly missing delivery dates! A package will be listed and out for delivery and on time for X day, and I will wait for it all day (they can deliver well into the evening hours), and then they just don't show. It's only the next day that tracking gets updated. This just happened to me for a Saturday delivery, and now Tracking says that I am supposed to get my item on Monday. No explanation for the missed delivery. But this was a rush order that should have reached me in three days. Now it is going to be five -- that is, if I do get it on Monday. I don't know how the company operates in other areas, but where I live the OnTrac vehicles are beat-up cars and pickup trucks driven by extremely dodgy looking people. It makes me wonder how much the company looks into their employees' pasts. I don't want random, unvetted people driving onto my property. Still nothing. 10/6 nothing, no new updates. I contacted them again via email, another generic message. Finally, today 10/7 I have my package. I understand there can be delays, but please keep me updated, don't give the run around. Now we have 2 packages on Amazon Prime that was scheduled for delivery yesterday- no packages. OnTrac is the fucking worst. It baffles me they're still in business. The time before that, they didn't even come up my driveway. They left my package on the ground in the middle of the bottom of my driveway.
